  1. Not so keen on the new song. West coast was much stronger.

I liked the medley and interesting new track. Bit different to his other stuff.
  3. I think he could do quite well. He has an amazing voice and spaceman reminds me of something Queen / Freddie Mercury would do.
  4. Well done to Ukraine. Sam Ryder did amazing with a great song!
  5. The alleged cuts will only cause further problems within our society. Look at Grenville. That was a situation that shouldn’t have happened and was due to the impact of austerity.
  6. There is nobody who is an obvious contender for leadership of the Tory party right now. That says a lot about a party who have been in power for 12 years.
  7. Ukraine will most likely win. Hopefully U.K. will do much better with our best song in years!
  8. I agree Trump is more extreme in his views but I don’t see a great deal of difference between the two to be honest. Both have a very dishonest past and both have behaved in a way that calls into question their suitability to be in their position. Both have very divisive policies causing increased inequality, oppression and injustice. Neither are good role models or fit to practice and the general public deserve far better.
  9. It will be interesting to see what happens at the next American election with Trump likely to run for the Republicans. In many ways, it’s a similar set up to the U.K. where Biden is almost like Starmer, a nice guy basically but a weak leader and then we have Trump who is almost a mirage of Johnson - incompetent, compulsive liar, con artist and full of baloney.
  10. Just seen celebration performed on TOTP repeat. It was better than her last performance on TOTP of what kind of fool but vocals sounded a bit dodgy at times but she looked like she was having a good time!
  11. This is pretty bland for a lead single. More like a B side.
  12. I’ve only just seen in the media that Starmer has agreed to step down if fined alongside Angela Raynor. I think this would be the right thing to do in these circumstances unlike Johnson and his colleagues who have lied repeatingly and showed a complete lack of integrity.
  13. I’m a bit concerned about the situation with Starmer. I’m hoping this is yet another smear by the Tory party who have absolutely no room to talk given the number of fines already issued and pending police enquiry. However, this will look bad if he is found to have done wrong and undermine his credibility and reputation. This comes at a key time when Labour are trying to reconnect and rebuild their core base.
  14. Disco has done well given it was released during lockdown. It may have sold even better if it has been released in more normal circumstances.
  15. I think the vote will become more split as the general public become increasingly disillusioned with the two main parties resulting in a hung Parliament. The Tories only got a large majority last time due to Brexit.
  16. Incorrect - they are currently down 398 seats with only 4 seats to be declared so it will be around 400 which obviously isn’t good but not as dire as 500 unfortunately.

Bad life is included on the CD although some people were saying it wouldn’t be. The album is quite good. The singles are standouts but other tracks will no doubt grow.
  18. So Labour have only made modest gains despite Partygate, the cost of living crisis and all the other problems accumulated with the Tory government. I think this suggests they still aren’t in a position to be elected in their own right and still have a lot of work to do to convince voters. I think people will also vote differently at a general election anyway and there is still a real possibility we could be stuck with this shambolic Tory government in two years time.
  19. I’m not a Tory fan at all but I always thought Jeremy Hunt was a far better candidate to lead the Tory party than Boris Johnson. I watched both candidates during a live debate prior to Johnson being elected as leader and Hunt was far stronger, more credible and convincing than Johnston has ever been. Since being elected, Johnson has shown he is full of empty promises and it’s clear the party have no clear solutions to the cost of living crisis. Suggesting that people buy cheaper brands and the Tories were the party who introduced free bus passes is insulting, out of touch and completely insensitive to the many people who will be forced into fuel poverty and/or have to make a choice between eating and heating. Both eating and having adequate heat within your home are basic commodities that everyone should be able to afford and not forced to choose. The problem is the Tories have no real conception of this as many of them are millionaires or from affluent backgrounds who have no proper empathy of what it’s like to live in poverty.
  20. Not impressed by this track. It’s boring and feels a step back on his recent stuff.
  21. This release interests me. I like her new song and love M People.
  22. How much has Disco now sold? How far is it off Golden’s total?
  23. Her earlier stuff like hero was brilliant but not liked much after the butterfly album.
  24. This is quite good so hopefully another hit!
  25. If they do badly at the local elections then I deffo think there will be a leadership contest at some point.
