    Absolutely gutted but it is what is. Luckily I live with my sister so I have somebody to be with and we are going to go to our Nan so she’s not on her own. She’s within our bubble (not sure if that’s allowed in Tier 4) but she’s one of the vulnerable and lonely and I just can’t leave her on her own. She’s only round the corner! She has spent most of the year on her own, her partner has gone into a home and as she’s not immediate family she hasn’t even been able to visit him. I am conflicted and wondering if we are doing the right thing but I just can’t see her on her own for the whole time. I have taken all the precautions and won’t be leaving the house until we go.

     

    Will be weird having the first Christmas without Mum being there. She’s pretty devastated as will be the first Christmas without us all together but it is what it is. I think she’s worried it will be Nan’s last Christmas but she is forty minutes away from us and it’s just not worth the risk for them to come down. I’m pretty gutted I won’t see my little nephew either, he’s just turned 3 so it’s the first Christmas he’s has a slight understanding of what’s going on and was looking forward to him opening his presents as I’ve spoiled him rotten but will hopefully be able to see him at some point when the restrictions are lifted whenever they may be.

     

    But it is what is, and lots of people are in the same predicament. I think the worse thing is that it’s been left so late and we were given false hope. But I suppose we just have to try and make the best of it, I feel for anybody that is left on their own.

     

    I think this has just been badly mismanaged.

     

     

    Absolutely loving this! Took me a few listens to really get into it and deserves to be a future number one. I think it will probably peak at 2 or 3 which is still brilliant especially for a girl group going into their tenth year.

    ‘DNA’ has never been one of my favourites, still a good song but just not one I’ve really gone back to you but that is probably because it was on the first album which was probably their weakest.

     

    ‘Secret Love Song’ is brilliant even if not my favourites of the ballad. I actually liked the Jason Derulo feature. Part II is obviously better and one of their best songs. In another life, it would have done a ‘Read All About It Part II’ and smashed.

     

    ‘Love Me Like You’ is one of their best IMO. Instantly feel good when it comes on. Dissapointing that it only reached #11 but was perhaps still a bit overshadowed by how big Black Magic was at the time. Does seem to be one of those that isn’t as well remembered by the general public.

    Had a lovely surprise from my friend who has bought me a ticket for this! Will be the first time seeing them - whenever it will be! Have always wanted to see them live but have never had anyone to go with.

     

    It’s strange as well as this friend was always into heavy rock but she’s become a massive Little Mix fan!

    Here in Essex, we have parts of the county still in Tier 1. As ours was voluntary it can only affect areas that are part of the Essex County Council. Southend and Thurrock have unitary councils so aren’t included yet the areas in between both are so nothing to stop people from going to either of these areas. Not that the Essex area has technically reached the tier threshold for tier 2 but doesn’t really make sense.
