I don't mind buying deluxe editions if they are sort of anniversary editions. For example "Faith" by George Michael is re-issued after 24 years. The tracks are remastered and there is also a disk with Faith interviews + all Faith videos. I think it's worth purchasing. But for the albums that were released six months before the deluxe edition, it is very pointless.

I always thought BEP are quite credible and inventive but I think their new single is one of the worst I have ever heard. It won't flop unfortunately :( So autotuned and uninspiring! Went downhill with this.
