Exactly and the same acts appear on the show. Last year on the final they had Alexandra and JLS twice! Pathetic.

For me it's really funny (or rather hilarious) when X Factor plays certain songs on the show (not the ones that performed) and they're back in the charts again. It just shows us how daft the nation is.

I was just thinking about songs that were released years ago, but took few years/or sometimes even longer to become hits in the UK. The only example I have is Journey - Don't Stop Believin'. Originally released in 1981, managed to peak at #62 in March 1982. However, it took almost 28 years to get to #6. Any other suggestions?
