Not really touché as GD isn't claiming to love his #11 more than his #1. :P Anyways, let's see what we have here Mr Rich :D 1. Avicii & B & B And Choir - We Write The Story (1) (CR-5-2-1-1) I'm completely over Eurovision now, it just didn't have any long standing impact on me. I guess because you were there to see it happen right in front of your very eyes it'll have had a much stronger impact on you. Seeing 'WWTS' at #1 highlights this. I felt a sense of "wow" when they had all the acts walk across that raised platform with the country flags. It made me think of BJSC LIII with all the different flags on display (yeah, Sweden were clearly influenced by Batidas :lol: ). 2. Stafford Brothers feat Lil Wayne & Christina Milian - Hello (8) (CR-8-2) Noticed this was top 10 in Australia a few weeks back but never felt the need to check it out. I was expecting the track to be your typical run-of-the-mill US rap song, never expected it to be a full on "hands in the air" party track. 6. Rivaz - Colors (4) (CR-2-1-2-3-2-2-3-4-6) Due to make its impact on my chart next week. Just fell short of entering my chart this week which means it's got a better chance of entering higher next week. 7. Robin Thicke feat T.I. & Pharrell Williams - Blurred Lines (14) (CR-39-OUT-20-5-4-9-20-17-14-7) Well unlike Mikey, this song is at its peak with me right now. The Graham Norton performance has made me adore the song even moreso (mainly thanks to Hayden getting her groove on during the performance :lol: ) 8. Icona Pop feat Charli XCX - I Love It (11) (CR-20-OUT-15-6-8-12-14-28-32-32-33-42-47-OUT-55-42-40-OUT-19-11-8) I'm slowly starting to believe this may never get released to iTunes. :D 9. Mariah Carey feat Miguel - #Beautiful (7) (CR-18-14-7-9) The best Mariah track for quite some time. In fact, I'd say it's her best single since 'We Belong Together' eight years ago. 11. John Newman - Love Me Again (15) (CR-15-11) Clearly going to be #1 in a few weeks time which is perfect timing as it's keeps on growing and sounding better with each listen. Can see this being a big seller in the long run.

I really don't get what's so special about Jason Derulo but if he can get to no. 1 with tracks like 'In My Head' and 'Don't Wanna Go Home' then this will probably go to no. 1 too. That said, it's up against Dizzee & Robbie and my gut instinct is that 'Goin' Crazy' is a big contender for no. 1 next week depending on how well 'Blurred Lines' keeps selling so I've gone for top 3. Pretty much what Bre posted above. :D Only thing I disagree with is Icona Pop being brought forward. Like that's going to happen, what a silly thought!!! :D

As much as I wanted Francine to be brilliant, I was really disappointed with her performance. When the Barbie Girl synths kicked in, I knew she had blown her chances of winning. So sadly, I'm not surprised she ranked so low down in the voting.

Icona Pop are going to do a Sak Noel aren't they? :( Massive all over Europe for months, then get released months later in the UK when everyone is bored of the song. 'Loca People' went something like 01-03-08-etc... whereas had they released the song during the summer it could've had a steadier flow of sales and be a bigger selling single despite not topping the UK chart. Sadly 'I Love It' might do the same without topping the UK charts anyways, but if the record company want to handle the release this way they can't grumble when the song misses #1 and drops out of the chart rather quickly.

They've really shot themselves in the foot haven't they? Talk about messing up the release of a clearly popular track - it's as if they want the song to fail. :D It's a shame because I'm loving John Newman's track more and more with every listen so 'I Love It' is going to be completely overshadowed when it gets released (if it even gets released that is!!! :kink: ).

I really like Attraction but for me their performance wasn't as strong as their first audition performance. If the two brothers win and perform again at the end, will the woman return to the stage with more eggs? :D How I'd rate tonight's performances: 01. Steve <--- he really was hilarious tonight 02. Attraction <--- still an incredible act but tonight just fell short of brilliant for me 03. Luminites <--- again, the best musical act in the final by some distance 04. Jack <--- I sort of like how he can joke about certain topics and get away with it 05. Francine <--- really wanted Francine to be brilliant tonight and it just didn't happen :( 06. T.I. & Pharrell - #Blurred Lines [3wks] (6-3-2) This is clearing going to be the summer anthem of 2013. The gorgeous weather atm really helps these songs sell. Pure sunshine music, and the performance on Graham Norton last night was ace. :D 03 (02) Passenger – Let Her Go [12wks] (22-13-10-6-4-2-2-2-2-2-2-3) I'm over this song now hence why it's finally exited my chart after sticking around for about 5 months. Having heard two other tracks from Passenger, I think it's safe to say he'll be a one hit wonder in my chart. 04 (04) Postiljonen – Supreme [5wks] (20-9-4-4-4) Sublime!!! :wub: My fave BJSC winner since 'Run Boy Run'. 08 (05) Portugal. The Man – Purple Yellow Red & Blue [4wks] (8-3-5-8) Another Mikey special from Unknown Pleasures. Not quite made my new chart (yes, it's already written up :D ) but will be looking set to enter next week. 10 (21) Katy B – What Love Is Made Of [3wks] (31-21-10) I think this might have a good chance of being a UK #1 when it's released next month. Katy B's profile has certainly been raised over the last couple of years. Think this could be her biggest era to date. 11 (**) John Newman – Love Me Again [1wk] (11) ...whilst this I'm getting more and more convinced is heading for #1 in a few weeks time. I'm losing interest in waiting for 'I Love It' to be released so by the time it is, I might not download it because I'll be bored of it. :lol: 29 (30) Emmelie De Forest – Only Teardrops [2wks] (30-29) I'm completely over all the Eurovision entries now. None of this years entries had a long lasting impact on my chart last year. I guess 'Euphoria' set such a high standard last year, I think it'll take something really incredible for me to fully enjoy the best Eurovision entry in 2014. Think it's safe to say that won't be coming from the UK. :D 38 (**) London Grammar – Wasting My Young Years [1wk] (38) Incredible song, kudos to Klumzee for entering this into BJSC. Made a big impact on me and therefore is due to enter my chart this week - two weeks before its official UK release. :D Sadly I doubt this will do anything in the UK but it's going to be more successful in my chart for sure. 40 (**) Two Door Cinema Club – Handshake [1wk] (40) TDCC really know how to choose their singles. I think I've charted every single by them - the vast majority making my top 20. This is due to enter my new chart but can reveal it's missed out on a place in the top 20.

Maybe people who haven't seen The Voice UK have stumbled across Leah at #3 on iTunes and thought "what is this?" only to then realise it's from The Voice. Maybe this might encourage more people to watch next Saturday to see what, and moreso how, the contestants will perform next. :lol: Also with the semi finals being on a Saturday night there could easily be a big surge in the viewing figures, or at least back to the usual 7-8 million mark. I have a gut feeling that Leah being so high on iTunes is going to have a positive impact on the show going into the semi final live show.

Yeah, you're right. It's selling a fifth of what 'Blurred Lines' is selling atm so it probably is borderline top 20 but still, Leah is already likely to chart higher in the singles chart than any of last years contestants and we're not even at the semi final stage yet. :lol: Read in the Reality TV forum that The Voice UK last night got just over 4 million viewers. :o Yet despite that, the show is looking set to have its highest charting single taken directly from the show. It's a very bittersweet result whichever way you look at it.

Makes me wonder if Leah could sell enough in 24 hours to sneak inside the official top 10 tomorrow. That'd be a real turn up for the books, and I doubt anyone would've expected this to potentially happen just 24 hours ago. All the other The Voice tracks have shot up a lot in the last few hours too although they're still far behind Leah.
