  1. I had a gut instinct from looking at Kworb earlier that 'Blurred Lines' is probably looking at 160-170k this week whilst 'La La La' is also going to sell 100k+. I might as well eat humble pie now after being convinced Naughty Boy would tail off really fast. Just hope Robin Thicke's sales next week don't plummet too drastically to the point Union J get to no. 1 with ease. :(
  2. Hitstastic posted a post in a topic in Television
It isn't the first time Simon Cowell has orchestrated a tie break situation on BGT (or The X Factor) and it sure won't be the last. TV as transparent as glass, but hey it makes excellent TV (Simon himself said last night it's all about the viewing figures  ). You can always guarantee people at work will be talking about it the following day.
  3. Wow, the leader board hasn't half changed drastically with the last 2 contests. I'm surprised Aeroche are down 01-11 though even with Massive Attack in the final. :o
  4. Oh, and that makes it a 5th consecutive Swedish victory in BJSC :o Frida Sundemo, Kate Boy, Zara Larsson, Carli and now Postiljonen. *.*
  5. Oh well, I can't grumble now if I just scraped through in SF1. Skall really did own it this contest. :D (can't really describe just how much I adore 'Supreme' - probably my fave BJSC winner since 'Run Boy Run' - aside from 'Uncover' of course :P )
  6. Wahey!!! :D Well done Skall, really glad you got your first BJSC win with such a sublime song.
  7. OMG a 12 from Tom. Now that was unexpected. :o Cheers for that.
  8. You can never really tell how people will vote each month. I thought 'Under' would've been perfect for BJSC compared to 'I See You'. Completely misfired on that one. Yay, thanks Phil for the 8 points. :D
  9. I know. You're not doing that great either. :( :D
  10. Yehesi awarded FSR Rontvia 15 points? What is this?!!! :o Ok, it's been explained.
  11. I thought that wasn't allowed. Then again, iirc it was Tirren who posted that way back yonks ago. Unless he was just making the rules up as he went along, idk? :D
  12. Thanks for the points Ben. #146/ Hendinia - Taped Rai - Epilogue I & II: Shadow Of The Sun #146/ Skall - Postiljonen – Supreme Jake doing the results Batidas stylee. :D
  13. ...and points from Eyes. :D Ohhh, what is this vote change Jake speaks of? Did someone change their votes in the final? :o
  14. Finally some points from Mikey and Johnkm. ThanQ :D
  15. I posted in the iTunes thread (I think it was anyways) that releasing 'I Love It' on the 9th June would be a reasonable date. 'Blurred Lines' will have had 2 weeks in the chart (hopefully both weeks at #1) so Icona Pop might be able to benefit the most that week. 'La La La' actually gained on Robin Thicke according to Kworb. So it'll be interesting to see how both songs are doing at the end of the week. If Naughty Boy gain more on Robin Thicke by Friday evening, then it doesn't bode well for 'Blurred Lines' getting a second week at #1, and I was convinced it'd be massive. :o
  16. Cheers John Oh, mine is nothing compared to several others on Buzzjack. In the past Eurovision has had a much bigger impact depending on how much I've liked the finalists. I found this year had less highlights than previous years. Think 2009 had the biggest impact on my chart at the time but then I didn't know what BJSC was back then. My chart was compiled differently back then.
  17. I checked Kworb earlier on and was quite gobsmacked to see Robin Thicke already showing up in dark red with Naughty Boy gaining in just 2 hours of updates. There was me thinking 'Blurred Lines' would be looking at massive sales. Unless it is, and Naughty Boy's sales haven't decreased too rapidly. Will know for sure when the first midweek report comes through on Wednesday.
  18. Cheers Lee :D Poor BRAVE Nabiha. Is this really the best she's done in a Buzzjack personal chart? 'Ask Yourself' is a gem, imo, so it deserves to secure its place in my top 10. 'Glowing' is uber-generic pop so it's left to be seen how many points I awarded the track. :o
  19. Cheers Ken :D 34 (--) Krista Siegfrids - Marry Me (34) [1 wk] This should have done better in Eurovision :( I also thought it was one of the better songs in the final. It's really kitsch but it just worked in a tongue in cheek way. I think the lesbian kiss instantly put off the whole of Eastern Europe (I can't remember which countries gave Finland points so maybe I got it wrong) 40 (24) Armin Van Buuren feat. Trevor Guthrie - This Is What It Feels Like (18-24-40) [3 wks] Good to see this holding up in the charts. Instead of free falling. Unlike here where it drops 16 places!!! :kink: It's a decent track but I still think this is just Armin Van Buuren trying to recreate 'Don't You Worry Child'. If the idea behind the track was more original, I'd probably like it more.
  20. Poor Mikey, really did define an era. :D
  21. I once went to B&Q too but never saw any sausages. :(
  22. The London Grammar track Klumzee entered into BJSC is so much better I can't even begin to compare the differences between the two tracks (granted this was a remix but it had no impact on me whatsoever - sorry RFL :( )
  23. Eight minutes ago. OOPS :kink:
  24. Ben Pearce should be on 137 points Martin. (no wonder Kylienips have never won bjsc)
  25. On a brighter note, congrats Dandy* My fave track has won so kudos to you. :D
