I just find long running #1 hits really special purely because they happen so rarely. Interesting thought... In 2013, Daft Punk have 4 weeks at #1, drop down to #2 then return to #1 for their fifth and final week. In 2012, Gotye feat. Kimbra had 4 weeks at #1, dropped down to #3 then returned to #1 for their fifth and final week. In 2011, Adele had 4 weeks at #1, dropped down to #2 then return to #1 for her fifth and final week. So yes, I'd like a 6 week run at #1 as it's not happened since 'We Found Love' although even that wasn't consecutive. :P

Gosh, it looks like the Batidome. :P Amazing, I've got sigs switched off atm so will have a look.

If 'La La La' does go to #1, I can see Daft Punk climbing back to #1 the following week. So ideally, I'd much rather see 'Get Lucky' have potentially six weeks at #1 - it'd be an incredible achievement for Daft Punk.

Re; Numayania's entries I really didn't like that Vanessa Paradis song. I'd already heard it beforehand and I tried to like it, but it just wasn't happening. 'Dance Your Pain Away' is much better but I'd say I still prefer 'Cut Copy Me' the most.

I hope you're taking pics. Are you able to upload them and post here so we can enjoy the experience oppan GD style? :D You also need to grab some famous people and record them saying "Hello Buzzjack" and create some montage on YouTube. It can be the forum description for 2014. :D

Talking over the song itself. NO!!! Terry Wogan had a bad habit of doing this. Or at least you'd hear him laughing halfway through a song. <_<

It probably would've been but I should've chanced it and risked the veto. It was huge all over Europe but strangely it's early success was down to Greece, Cyprus and some of the Balkan countries. It took off in central Europe towards the end of 2011 then continued well into 2012.

Sadly the track just hasn't had the same impact that 'PDSYLM' had on me. I like 'Panic Cord' but not enough to even consider putting it in my top 20. :(

Charli XCX - I Love It (01-01-02-02-03-05-06-08-14-12-17-21-21-26-28-32-21) [17 wks] What a U-Turn :o I know!!! :D It's being used in some TV commercials whick, kinda like Dandy's Reminisce compilation last year, has just given the song another boost in my personal airplay. So yes, I'm now listening to 'I Love It' more than I was a month ago. :lol: Might even return to the top 20 next week. This has had the most remarkable journey in my chart considering my 50/50 opinion when I first heard it. 32 (13) Pet Shop Boys - Axis (13-32) [2 wks] OUCH :( It got boring really fast. :( 35 (33) Passenger - Let Her Go (02-02-03-04-07-11-17-22-22-20-23-23-22-24-27-33-35) [17 wks] Going the wrong way :( It's only down two places so still holding up well enough. Name the biggest selling single of 2012 in the UK. :P I still listen to my early entries. 'Riverside' and 'Black Video' really are incredible songs imo. My only real regret was not entering 'I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix)' and went with 'Erase You', which I didn't like that much, purely because pop dominated the previous month. Biggest mistake ever made. I liked my other DNQ songs a lot more.
