4. Where Them Girls At (feat. Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida) - David Guetta, Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj
Wow, 'Where Them Girls At' clearly selling massively at the moment. There seemed to be quite a big gap between #5 (Snoop Dogg) and #6 (Katy Perry) earlier on. Yet this has managed to surpass this gap with ease.
Could this end up #1 after all? :o

I think people need to distinguish the difference between a "ballad" and a "love song". There's plenty of examples given already of what I would say are "love songs" set to uptempo beats. A ballad, imo, is a track that is stripped back to its bare essentials - the vocals and an additional instrument (be it piano, or acoustic guitar). For me, 'Someone Like You' definitely falls into the category "ballad".

Have to admit, I wasn't sure where Nero was gonna go after 'Me & You' peaked at #15. It used to seem that wherever your debut single peaked, it was unlikely that the follow up would better that peak. I honestly didn't think 'Guilt' would prove to be this successful but clearly those who mentioned the track had strong pre-release sales were right. In terms of chart performance, it's a step in the right direction - can Nero's next single outpeak 'Guilt'? Bodes well for the album if Nero continue producing the hits.

It was on the release schedule - not that it says much. A long list of "new releases" yet I'm looking through thinking "i've heard none of these!!!" :D So I use YouTube to listen to some of them and this definitely stood out. I wouldn't say it's brilliant but for what it is, it's good.
