I was going to close it at 23:59 (like I did with the semi finals) but because I'm not going to be around much on Sunday, I need the extra hours on Saturday night to start prepping the results. Otherwise I doubt I'd have enough time on Sunday to get everything ready for doing the results at 8pm as proposed. I knew it. Once the airplay kicked in, it was always going to rocket up iTunes. Could well end up no. 1 in the next couple of weeks after all. :D

Now that it's got Radio 1 support, all other commercial stations are bound to jump on the bandwagon. It probably will end up being one of the most played songs of the year on UK radio (it's also MoR enough to appeal to an older audience) so I'm actually starting to agree with GD's prediction that Passenger might well end up climbing to no. 1 after all. Bought the track on iTunes back in January and still not bored of the track, although granted I don't have a habit of playing the same 5 songs on a loop every 30 minutes (unlike commercial radio - looking at you Capital FM). :D

'Let Her Go' is a wonderful track once you get passed the initial "hmm, not sure about the vocals" which is exactly how I felt about the track when I first heard it. :lol: RBumgq5yVrA
