Ella Eyre - Waiting All Night (05) [1 wk] Really looking forward to hearing their album, Not Giving In was a bit limp but their two UK No.1's have been great I really think Rudimental have got a very good chance of seeing their album enter at #1 when released. Whether the sales will be great or not is difficult to tell. 'Not Giving In' did grow on me but in retrspect its peak of #40 seems fair as it's not like I've suddenly found a whole new love for the track. 'WAN' is just a sublime slice of dance music. 07 (--) Little Mix feat. Missy Elliot - How Ya Doin'? (07) [1 wk] Another stellar single from Little Mix, tapping into the current 90s revival perfectly! They really can't do no wrong for me at the moment. Even though this has peaked lower than 'Cannonball' (#5), I think 'How Ya Doin' will stick around a fair bit longer. 30 (--) Mat Zo feat. Porter Robinson - Easy (30) [1 wk] This is good but not great, not surprised it's not been a #1 challenger for you or in the UK, like so many dance songs seem to be these days I agree, in fact when I first saw the video on MTV Dance I thought it was Daft Punk. The backing music is similar to that of Daft Punk circa 2000 when 'One More Time' was released. I much preferred 'Language' by Porter Robinson though in comparison. The dance hits getting to #1 in the UK and also my chart aren't a co-incidence. It just means the dance tracks I'm loving the most are also having a similar impact with the UK public (or maybe that is a co-incidence? :lol: ) 35 (--) Clean Bandit - Mozart's House (35) [1 wk] Seems like such a random UK top 20 hit, but this year has been the year of the unexpected hit I guess so far! On the one hand it's refreshing to see these type of tracks getting exposure and being a UK hit. However, I don't think this is brilliant at all, just good.

Cheers Martin :D 09 (--) Daft Punk ft. Pharrell - Get Lucky (09) [1 wk] Now that's better :P :lol: That's a bit premature, but Daft Punk are looking set to have a big hit in my chart. Another track that's just blown up and made such an incredible impact very quickly. It's already gone in at #1 in a few charts I've seen already. Will you be added to this elusive list this week? :D On an unrelated note poor Cub Scouts. :( 24 (22) Passenger - Let Her Go (02-02-03-04-07-11-17-22-22-20-23-23-22-24) [14 wks] HA, moved 5 places in the past 7 weeks, this needs to go to #1 officially I hadn't even thought about the overall movements of Passenger over these last few weeks. I still enjoy listening to 'Let Her Go' but its airplay (ie; number of times I played the song) peaked back in Jan/Feb so I don't want to overplay the song now otherwise I'll be sick of hearing the song and it'll just plummet out of the chart. That said, Passenger could still well be on the climb again in the coming weeks if it manages to float around the top 30 area again next week.

Cheers Liam :D 05 Been enjoying this more these past few days, must be the sunny weather. Still not up there with 'Feel the Love' but definitely #1 worthy. It's surprising how the weather can improve a song's vibe. :lol: I think 'Waiting For Tonight' is a brilliant track although for me it was watching the music video that really helped sell the song. Proof once again that a powerful music video can really boost a song. I will admit too that I prefer 'Feel The Love' more whilst I've grown to like 'Not Giving Up' a bit more than I did but it's #40 peak for me was justified. 07 I love the old-school girl band sound that's been going around recently, I'm certainly behind that being the latest craze. 'How Ya Doin'?' is my favourite new entry on your chart, looks like it's going to be another decent sized hit for Little Mix. Little Mix have been on brilliant form scoring their 5 consecutive top 10 hit in my chart - most other girlgroups can only dream on this type of success here. :D I really do hope 'Wings' makes it in America, not so much going to #1 (although that would be astonishing) just to see Little Mix crack the US top 20 would be a great starting point.

Then Ryan started to take BJSC more seriously and has become one of the premier league countries in the last 12 months. (but yes, I agree with Tim* pls don't send Emeli :P )

Hi Rich :D Not replied in your chart for ages it seems so making the most of this rather quiet Tuesday evening. :lol: 1. Rivaz - Colors (2) (CR-2-1) Did listen to this from your chart last week. I really like the melody but yet I felt the song didn't get going as much as I wanted it to. :lol: It's difficult to describe it, but the way it builds when everything comes in, it still sounds a bit empty for me. :( 2. Michael Woods - Platinum Chains (1) (CR-29-1-1-2) The Rontvian Club Edit of this is *.* I'm actually really proud of how this edit turned out in the end, it just sounds really slick and even my odd ending even manages to fit in with the song. 3. Passenger - Let Her Go (7) (CR-50-29-13-10-12-13-8-1-1-2-7-3) It's (really) slowly making its way up iTunes so could this go all the way and be one of those ultimate slow burners? To think I had this at #2 in my chart back in January and it's still hovering around the top 30 now. Still a song I enjoy listening to hence why it's not plummeted out yet, could well climb back up my chart again at the rate it's going. 9. Carli - Look Up (NEW) (CR-9) I wonder what a JakeWild hosted BJSC would be like? It seems from the posts I've read that this is being predicted to do big things in the final. As hosts, I know how well it's doing so far but once all the votes are in will Carli landslice the victory? :o 12. Daft Punk feat Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky (NEW) (CR-12) :wub: Although granted it took 4 previews and a YouTube clip before I decided to buy the song. Such an infectious song, I never thought Daft Punk would venture down the 70s disco route but it's such a tasty track, just really like it. If this is a taster of what to expect from the album, then Daft Punk could have one of the biggest selling albums of the year. 13. Little Mix feat Missy Elliott - How Ya Doin' (20) (CR-38-OUT-61-48-40-33-29-20-13) I don't have the album but when I saw they were releasing 'How Ya Doin', I was put off the song title instantly and thought "oh that song title is so tacky, is this going to even be a good song?". Then I saw the music video and I was won over. Had no idea it was based around De La Soul's 'Ring Ring Ring' which was a track I really liked as a kid. :D Also 'Change Your Life' is making waves in Australia - was up to #8 in their chart. :o 'Wings' is also top 100 in America so the girls have definitely got a bright future (I had a feeling they were destined for big things as soon as I heard 'Wings' for the first time). 16. Imagine Dragons - It's Time (19) (CR-75-75-OUT-74-OUT-63-31-19-16) I prefer 'Radioactive' but I honestly thought this would become their biggest hit. Yet it looks like 'Radioactive' is going to be their biggest hit here too (it's already been massive in Sweden, Norway etc...) and 'On Top Of The World' is now top 20 in my chart. 17. Chris Malinchak - So Good To Me (32) (CR-61-46-32-17) This is definitely looking set to be a UK #1 in a couple of weeks but considering how much impact dance music is having at the moment, I find this track slightly disappointing. I do like it, quite a bit to be honest, but like with the Rivaz track I feel the song could be so much more than what it is. I guess I'm not a great lover of almost minimulist dance music. 20. Robin Thicke feat T.I. & Pharrell Williams - Blurred Lines (Re-entry) (CR-39-OUT-20) The surprise hit of 2013? Every year has one and the way this has taken off in several countries has amazed me. I'm not sure what I think of this - I'm firmly on the fence atm with 'Blurred Lines' but I don't dislike the track, it's more a case of how much do I actually like this. :lol: Safe to say as far as Pharrell is concerned, 'Get Lucky' is easily the better song of the two imo.

I initially thought 'Uncover' by Zara Larsson would be a contender for my longest running #1 of 2013 but looks like Daft Punk may well have put a spanner in those works. 'Get Lucky' looking likely to be #1 this Sunday too and looks like this is going to top a fair few personal charts this week. :dance: 06 - 04 Little Daylight “Overdose” 45-09-01-01-01-01-01-03-02-01-04-06 (12) Because of the way my chart is formatted, 'Overdose' enters this week at #13 but looking set to climb over the coming weeks. 08 - 11 CHVRCHES “Recover” 44-29-29-28-29-31-27-20-11-08 (10) 'Lies' still remains my fave track from CHVRCHES whilst this did provide them with a third top 20 hit in my chart. 15 - 20 Duke Dumont “Need U (100%)” 34-20-15 (03) I guess being held back for so long means people might have actually become bored of this when it was released. Looks like it may take a fairly quick decline down the charts but it remains of my #1s of 2013. What did you make of 'Suit & Tie' on first listen? For me, 'Mirrors' is far superior. 26 (21) Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX - I Love It (01-01-02-02-03-05-06-08-14-12-17-21-21-26) [14 wks] :wub: Will be interesting to see if this does anything once it's officially released in June. Sounds like a massive hit in waiting imo. 32 (32) Pitbull feat. Christina Aguilera - Feel This Moment (32-32) [2 wks] best song of the year Each to their own on this one. There are parts of 'Feel This Moment' that I really like, but let down by others (the intro bugs me for the terrible lyrics, and the 'Take On Me' melody rip off). 35 (--) Clean Bandit - Mozart's House (35) [1 wk] Amazing track!! :wub: :wub: This is an intriguing track, I like it but I don't love it. As hosts of BJSC LIII, the BJSC world had gathered in the infamous Batidome in Colpi Golpes, Batidas to see which 28 nations had secured their place in the grand final. Batidas and Fljótavík autoqualified straight to the final. Batidas being represented by Jutty Ranx with their track 'I See You' which takes the 1st spot in the line up. Jutty Ranx are an American electronic dance act, consisting of Justin Taylor and Jaakko Manninen - a DJ associated with the Finnish dance act Beats & Styles. Their debut single 'I See You' has already made huge waves in Italy and Macedonia. Could become a future hit with radio support and TV airplay. The music video is wonderfully kitsch and is the perfect accompanyment for the synthlicious track. After getting our second BJSC win last month with Zara Larsson 'Uncover' we wanted to send something different but ultimately something the people of Batidas are loving. Regardless of the results of the BJSC LIII Grand Final, we're just happy to be able to be taking part and hosting this excellent contest once again. n8qL_u_4L3M
