Sunday Chart Predictions
Is Tinie Tempah's new single even available to pre-order on iTunes? Sadly, Miley Cyrus is heading for #1 when its released but hopefully it'll be a temporary blip and whatever knocks it off #1 will be another great UK #1 track.

KING OF POP RATE - The Results
Just avoid 'Invincible', that wasn't even an album. It was just so bad (apart from 'You Rock My World' which wasn't that bad in all fairness)

X Factor 2013 · General Discussion
That thing did indeed win last year. :D You think he's bad? You should check out Jahmene Butcher...live. :D Whoa, in a different league of dog yelping. :D In fact, this Sunday's album chart #1 is likely to be glorified karoake in a "music for people who don't like music" kind of way.

H8ers to the left pls thnx :P 'Black Or White' is a fantastic pop song imo. Being part of the MTV generation, when the music video premiered in late 1991 *.* I'd rather have the video to 'Black Or White' over the flashy high budget but bleh 'Scream' video.

X Factor 2013 · General Discussion
Well, at least Jedward didn't make the cut. :D Was hoping for a little bit of "HEY, it's Chico time" for the LOLZ. :kink:

BJSC LVI :: PREDICTA
It's a wonderful track (one of the few highlights from SF2 imo) and I genuinely think you're gonna do well with this.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 21st July 2013
Really hope 'F For You' keeps climbing up. :D That's the one track I'm keeping track of right now (well, 'True Love' by Pink is already top 20 so doubt it'll peak much higher on iTunes now).

KING OF POP RATE - The Results
'The Way You Make Me Feel' is sheer brilliance, love the song. :D From the remaining, I'd really like to see 'Black Or White' win. Have to admit, I'm very surprised that 'Dirty Diana' is in the top 8. :o

Sunday Chart Predictions
What's currently the lowest sales this year for a #1 album? Whatever it is, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jah-Mazing ( :puke: ) sells less. If he's going to be #1 please let it be the worst sales ever for an album at the top of the chart. Rihanna doesn't deserve that "honour" anymore. Time to give Jahmene a UK record he truly deserves. I guess it proves that with autotuning, they can make Jahmene sound wonderful in a studio recording. The sound of a dog yelping with enough autotuning would probably end up sounding like Jahmene too. Now that's JAH-MAZING.

BJFESTIVALEN II RESULTS
Congrats John :D ...but yeah, got to agree with Chezy it wasn't among my fave tracks. :(

James Arthur - You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You
James Arthur is a billion times better than Jahmene will ever be. Ever. Without even hearing his new single, I'm already certain it'll be better the entire album of covers that Jahmene has released. Considering how dire last years X Factor was, it's a wonder they somehow managed to get a good winner. The massive success of 'Impossible' across Europe/Australasia suggests that J-Art is going to be massive when he returns later in the year.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Now 85 looking to be a massive seller, no surprise there. :D I was surprised to find out yesterday that our head of sales downloaded Now 85 on his iPhone just to have some new music to listen to whilst driving to work. I never had him down as a big music fan although some of the salespeople are currently obsessed with 'La La La', one of the lads constantly plays it on his phone.

One Direction - Best Song Ever
Hitstastic posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionAgree with Jonjo, wasn't expecting much from the video (just typical boyband video stuff) but that opening scene is brilliant. As for the song, it's better than 'OWOA(TK)' so it's an improvement on their last single. Still, Avicii for #1 again. :kink:

Predict the lowest #1 album sales this year...
With album sales so crap, Jahmene Butcher is going to be #1 with his album 'Nicole Says I'm Jah-Mazing So She Must Be Right'. His cover of 'Titanium' is woeful and removes everything that makes the David Guetta original so brilliant. Hurry up James Arthur, we need to sort out this mess. :D

FSR Rontvia National Thread 2.0
I think it could well have been a case of wrong semi. Looking at those in SF2, 'Bad Boys Cry' might well've fared much better there and qualified comfortably over a small handful of others (knowing Liam's luck it might've been Unovia that would've missed out so he should maybe be thankful you weren't in SF2  )

BJSC LVI: Semi Finals - The Results
To think I was initially going to debut with The Sounds 'Better Off Dead' before changing my mind when I discovered 'Riverside' in Denmark's top 40. Doubt 'BOD' would've provided a debut win so at least at the time I made the right decision.
-
BJSC LVI: Semi Finals - The Results
...and for that I'm thankful. 'Video Games' remains my absolute best discovery in BJSC with Woodkid 'Run Boy Run' just narrowly behind. Mikey has had a couple of "could've been" BJSC hits but I reckon with Thomas Azier, this could be Kylienips biggest BJSC hit since Sky Ferreira.
-
BJSC LVI: Odds
Yeah, I think Thomas Azier could very well provide Kylienips with a top 10 placing in the final.

Persephonia • National Thread
Beat Connection *.* 'In The Water' was a great track and iirc, you lost out because you never voted in the semi final and would've gone through as you had the most voters (think 3 songs all ended up on 34 points each). Oh yes, Batidas are firmly behind the next Persephonian entry. :D

BJSC LVI: Semi Finals - The Results
There's another dance track on YouTube that uses the exact same vocals. TVQVXXyVbXI Can't say I consider either as being an anthem sadly. :( The Mark Lower track by far has the better backing track though.
-
BJSC LVI: Semi Finals - The Results
My DNQ votes: 12 pts = 10 pts = 08 pts = 07 pts = 06 pts = 05 pts = 04 pts = 03 pts = 02 pts = 01 pts = FSR Rontvia: Mark Lower - Bad Boys Cry So all in all an excellent set of results for SF1. As for FSR Rontvia, they were practically neck and neck with my 11th place song and had I voted for that song, I would've had a 10/10 strike rate going into the final. The thing that lets down 'Bad Boys Cry' are the weak vocals on the track. With better vocals, it'd probably be an absolute anthem. On a seperate note, delighted for Anise K getting through and a special mention to my 12 pointer.

The Buzzjack Sunday Chart Show Thread 21st July 2013
Radio 1 DJ's are unique in their inability to get facts correct when they're talking about something they've presented themselves just a mere 2 weeks ago. It's like Radio 1 alzheimer's disease. (like when Scott Mills interviewed Loreen and told her the UK gave 'Euphoria' 10 points, when it was actually 12...and it was Scott who read out the votes. Mindblown!!! ) Anyways, excellent for Avicii. Biggest sales of the year for a non charity/X Factor related song. After the sheer success of 'Get Lucky', then 'Blurred Lines' I wonder if there could be another massive hit in waiting that comes along around late August/early September that breaks Avicii's first week sales record. :o (probably not, but I doubt anyone would've expected such massive sales coming for 'Get Lucky', 'Blurred Lines' and 'Wake Me Up' prior to release)

BJSC LVI: Odds
Oh I'll be really surprised if Kylienips don't qualify.
