Tension II: chart predictions
I think it’ll debut at number 1 in the UK and Oz, with lower sales than Tension. I predicted between 40 and 50k…I reckon she’ll debut with around 41-42k in the UK.

'Hold On To Now' chart predictions
I really don’t think it’ll make top 40, it’s streaming numbers will be poor so it’ll be propped up by the physicals, although it does have 3 physicals this time…I put top 75, probably just outside the top 40.

Hold On To Now ● 3rd Single
Hold On To Now is a great song and I think it’d make a great 3rd single but whatever is released from the current album will do absolutely nothing on the charts. It’s been available for weeks now and has already been on NMF playlist. The only chance of another Tension hit single is if there’s a re release with new songs.

PREDICT: Kylie Minogue - Tension (the album)
I reckon she’ll get number 1 with between 55k and 60k.initially I’d thought because of Padam she’d sell way more but the album market in general has totally crashed since 2020 so I reckon the Padam effect will hopefully keep her at a similar number (where it would have naturally slumped without the hit(s)

Why were only 3 singles released from BL?
Chocolate is one of my all time favourite Kylie songs, it was my instant favourite off BL and I was so pleased when it was announced as a single but ultimately the GP didn’t take to it for whatever reason. It’s a completely forgotten Kylie single and 95% of the GP don’t remover it or have never heard it. It doesn’t stop me loving it though.

Ed Sheeran - “=“ first week sales predictions
I think people are underestimating Ed’s power in the Uk. Yes, the music business has changed a lot in the last few years but his collaboration album put too many mums off with its RnB edge, the collaborators were too current for a lot of his fan base. I put 350-400k.

The UK Radio & TV Airplay Charts
I remember reading somewhere that Love At a first Sight and Can’t Get You Out of My Head both had some kind of airplay record at the time, anyone know what it was?

Disco The Guest List Edition

Rhythm of Love ● album discussion
Rhythm of Love is one of Kylies best albums, period. The huge sales drop from albums 1 & 2 is easy to explain from someone who lived through it. I was 11 years old at the time of release and among kids my age (her demographic at the time) she became so uncool and the majority of her fan base would have been around that age at the time and a little older so teenagers mostly. Anyone who was a fan was crucified at school and it became very embarrassing to admit to being a fan. She absolutely did the right thing changing her sound though,I believe it’s what saved her career, if she’d released another Enjoy Yourself she wouldn’t be here now.

DISCO ● RATE
10 Magic 9 Miss a Thing 11 Real Groove 7 Monday Blues 8 Supernova 10 Say Something 6.5 Last Chance 7.5 I Love It 9.5 Where Does the DJ Go? 10 Dance Floor Darling 6 Unstoppable 7 Celebrate You 7.5 Till You Love Somebody 7.5 Fine Wine 6 Hey Lonely 9 Spotlight 10 Real Groove [studio 2054] (with Dua Lipa) Unstoppable is by far my least favourite but I still like it. Real Groove is top tier Kylie and one of my all time favourite Kylie songs now. The 3 single run of Say Something-Magic-Real Groove is flawless!

Real Groove ● 3rd Single
I Felt like Lifetme To Repair was the obvious 3rd single when I heard the album, it's not a favourite of mine but The thought it was pretty obvious it was gonna be a single wasn't it?

Which turned out to be correct. People always underestimating our Kylie.

Chart Battle: Kylie vs. Little Mix
That's pretty unfair, In general Kylie is at a huge disadvantage, being a 52 yo woman. She gets almost zero radio play outside of R2 and the same with streaming playlist support so the fact she is even in contention for the Number 1 alongside the U.K.s most popular pop group is pretty amazing. I personally think LM will get it on streams but obviously I want Kylie to get the number 1. Incidentally this is my favourite Kylie album in a long time!
