Yeah Becky Hills debut solo single as the lead artist is rapidly climbing the charts. And I echo the Ava Max shock, she looked like she was gonna be the next big pop girl, I think So Am I was the wrong follow up. She has the songs there - Torn, Salt and Freaking Me Out are all bops.

This is such a false conception, you can listen to Spotify offline if you have a premium account. I pay £7.50 a month (I have a family account with my partner) and have never bought a song since joining about a year ago.

Yeah 2000 miles has the lines "it must me Christmas time" so it's definitely a Christmas song to me. I think of songs like Stay Another Day and The Power of Love as songs I would associate with Christmas due to their videos and the use of bells. I wouldn't call 2 Become 1 a Christmas song personally, it just happened to be out at Christmas time.

Yeah I suppose it depends on how much music you listen to but I constantly listen to music and would rather spend a few hours listening to music than watching TV so it's so worth it to me. I could easily spend over a tenner just on downloading a few of my favourite songs every few days before and I would never download illegally as I'm dead against it as a passionate pop music lover.

I'm still shocked that One More Sleep hasn't been more of a hit this year and last, I really thought it would be up there right behind Mariah and Thr Pogues every year as it seems so popular.

I find it crazy that people in general but specifically people on a music forum like this, don't utilise streaming more. I have a premium account with Spotify and haven't downloaded for quite a long time now. I just don't understand why people would choose to pay 99p to download a song when you can pay £10 a month and download unlimited songs?? In answer to your question I wouldn't say it's at its peak yet but it's not far off it now. Streaming is now having a massive effect on the top 40 and regularly causing songs that have top 20 sales to completely miss the top 40.

I know it's early days but a couple of good increases for Madonna. Ghost Town is without a doubt the best song on Rebel Heart and I'd love to see it even a moderate hit for her.

This isnt really a fair list though as almost every song which hit number1 in the US first was not even released in the UK until after its US no. 1 status so it would never have been possible to hit number 1 in the UK first. If theyd all been released on the same day in both countries almost all of them would've been no. 1 in the UK first. Although I thinkna few of them such as Royals and Rude were big hits in the UK due to their US success.

I bought Cheryls Only Human when it was 99p but then realised you can't import them to your itunes and never actually get to download the songs to your phone/tablet technically which is all a bit pointless to me. If you have to be onlibe to lusten to them why not just listen for free on Spitify/youtube?
