I'm not sure whether this is sarcastic or not but seeing as there is no smiley I'm assuming it's not sarcastic. 3.5 million sales and about a year in the hot 100 kinda renders this point false.

Im quite surprised that I own 7 of them, the 7 most popular on here...I own them all minus Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and The Beatles. In all honestly though I think a few of them were only bought cheap because of what they were. Finally bought Taylor Swift - Red today been wanting it for ages and didnt buy it incase the other half got me it for Christmas. Loving it already, although I have to say, it has alot to live up to compare with Little Mix - that album is amazing!

On a different note i would love for Abba Gold to one day become the best selling album of all time in the UK.

This was a funny Christmas for me as this year as I stopped buying physical albums during the year. It was a hard decision for me as music has always been my life and I have an extensive collection but i decided it wasn't environmentally friendly and a waste of space as I was simply putting them straight onto my itunes and never looking at them again. This meant that the usual pile of CD's I get for my Christmas was no more! I waited until after Christmas to make sure I didn't recieve any Cd's (which I didn't) and today I downloaded: Little Mix - DNA Rita Ora - Ora I dont like to have too many new albums at once cos I then struggle to learn any of them, so I shall be waiting a couple of days and then downloading: Taylor Swift - Red One Direction - Take Me Home

I have to say I am quite excited at the prospect of a Christmas chart battle with no X Factor if the rumours are true regarding next year being the final X Factor. Ive really missed all the fun of it.

It always amazes me just how much impact an X Factor peerformance can have on a single...Bruno was almost out of the top 10and suddenly he's number 1 on itunes. I mean had people seriously not heard that song before that performance? Its been around for ages! I can't say I have personally ever bought a single after an X Factor performance...anyone else?

I have a feeling One Directions 'Little Things' is gonna do quite well in the long run compared to Live while we're young...

I doubt it will get anywhere near that figure personally. Bionic was her first album coming off her last semi successful studio album, Lotus is following a major flop album and has spawned no hits so far...I realise she will always have a big(ish) debut due to her history in the US but with each album I believe it will get smaller unless of course she does have that big hit again...

Referring back to my old post after eventually falling to the mid thirties Syfall has climbed back to number 6! The success of the film has clearly made a difference, shame the airplay is so abysmal especially for Adele.

Ive just seen that its not on their US EP, that kind of explains the surge in sales but without radio support i guess it'll plummet pretty quickly.
