  1. Started using it on and off quite early in mid-2009 to listen to Sean Kingston 'Fire Burning' Switched to streaming mainly at the end of 2011 and now use Premium Spotify, supplemented by the very odd download of tracks that aren't available there, such as 'Bad Blood'.
  2. Fifth Harmony are now on Spotify. Edit: Haha, waaaay behind. Only by a day and a half!
  3. On a more minor level, Flux by Bloc Party and particularly The Pretender by Foo Fighters stuck around for a while compared to previous material. The Pretender spent 16 weeks T40 if I remember correctly...
  4. The irritating thing with these pointless fake chart shows now means my Twitter is flooded with giddy people saying BMTH are the official number one, or angry people indignant that they aren't on the radio 1 chart. I hope they are of course, but we won't know til next week! Edit, I didn't know I quoted but now it seems apt, haha.
  5. [bEST] Oliver Heldens & Becky Hill - Gecko Calvin Harris - Summer Maroon 5 – Maps Klingande – Jubel Professor Green feat. Tori Kelly – Lullaby Route 94 feat. Jess Glynne - My Love Ariana Grande feat. Zedd – Break Free Aloe Blacc - The Man Duke Dumont - I Got U George Ezra - Budapest [WORST] Tough group! All decent but nothing outstanding.
  6. [bEST] Sigma - Nobody To Love Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong Nicki Minaj – Anaconda A Great Big World feat. Christina Aguilera - Say Something Conchita Wurst – Rise Like a Phoenix G.R.L. - Ugly Heart Kylie Minogue – Into The Blue Shakira feat. Rihanna – Can't Remember To Forget You Sam Smith - Money On My Mind Ten Walls – Walking With Elephants [WORST] Best group so far.
  7. [bEST] The Saturdays – Not Giving Up Calvin Harris feat. John Newman – Blame Charli XCX – Boom Clap Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding – Outside Rixton – Me and My Broken Heart Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One Jason Derulo – Wiggle John Legend - All Of Me Cheryl feat. Tinie Tempah – Crazy Stupid Love Beyoncé feat. Jay Z - Drunk In Love [WORST] Dreadful bunch.
  8. I will probably buy it for the sole reason that it isn't on Spotify until it's pointless to play it.
  9. [bEST] Matrix & Futurebound feat. Max Marshall – Control Ed Sheeran – Don't Tiesto – Wasted will.i.am feat. Miley Cyrus - Feelin' Myself Coldplay – Magic will.i.am feat. Cody Wise – It's My Birthday 5 Seconds Of Summer - She Looks So Perfect The Vamps – Wild Heart Michael Jackson feat. Justin Timberlake – Love Never Felt So Good The Vamps – Last Night [WORST] Nothing particularly awful or great here.
  10. [bEST] Avicii - Hey Brother FAUL and Wad Ad vs. Pnau – Changes Gorgon City feat. MNEK – Ready For Your Love Ariana Grande feat. Iggy Azalea - Problem Tove Lo – Stay High Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz - Prayer In C Tiesto – Red Lights MKTO – Classic Vance Joy - Riptide Shift K3y – Touch [WORST] Better than Group A. My favourite track of all [possibly] this/last year is in this one.

Paloma Faith – Changing Jess Glynne – Right Here Enrique Iglesias – I'm a Freak Jason Derulo - Trumpets 5 Seconds Of Summer – Amnesia One Direction – Steal My Girl [WORST] As others have said, not a stellar group.

2005 was the last year we had quite a lot of these. Eminem, U2, Nelly, Oasis, Gorillaz and Pussycat Dolls all getting there once the album was out. I guess the former three don't count as downloads weren't incorporated yet and maybe none of them do as they were only counted with a physical copy available. I still remember Gorillaz trying to get round the silly rule by leaking a few hundred copies and charting for a month on downloads alone. :D
  13. I'm not sure you've understood the thread correctly, Sociopath. Unless you do genuinely believe that the X Factor charity single is as well remembered as One Direction's breakthrough hit.
  14. 10 Adele- Someone Like You Launched her into the stratosphere. 06 Bruno Mars- Grenade 07 Bruno Mars- The Lazy Song 03 Cher Lloyd- Swagger Jagger 05 Dappy- No Regrets Surprisingly, still given plenty of rotation. Aged pretty well too. 06 DJ Fresh Ft Sian Evans- Louder The zenith of the dubstep phase, and the first #1. Not aged very well, but still decent. 06 Example- Changed The Way You Kissed Me Love this, but his stock has collapsed since. 01 Example- Stay Awake 03 Jason Derulo- Don't Wanna Go Home 07 Jennifer Lopez Ft Pitbull- On The Floor Great dance song very of its time. 09 Jessie J Ft B.O.B- Price Tag Her stock has fallen, but this remains a modern classic even though I'm not a fan. 03 JLS Ft Dev- She Makes Me Wanna 02 Ke$ha- We R Who We R Not one of her most memorable efforts. 00 Little Mix- Cannonball 10 LMFAO- Party Rock Anthem Video, dance craze, great tune. Their follow up is probably even more well remembered too. 02 Military Wives And Gareth Malone- Wherever You Are Token point for Xmas #1, and another one for being such a big seller. 01 Nero- Promises 05 Nicole Scherzinger- Don't Hold Your Breath 07 Olly Murs- Dance With Me Tonight Probably his best known song, maybe along with Dear Darlin. 06 Olly Murs Ft Rizzle Kicks- Heart Skips A Beat 11 One Direction- What Makes You Beautiful Toss up between this and Adele for my 11 points. Both now global megastars. 09 Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer- Give Me Everything Very well remembered. Maybe it's the circles I move in. 03 Pixie Lott- All About Tonight 08 Professor Green Ft Emeli Sande- Read All About It Her solo version drags this up about 4 points. 08 Rihanna Ft Calvin Harris- We Found Love 07 Rihanna Ft Drake- What's My Name 05 Sak Noel- Loca People I struggled to rate this. It was a non-#1, but was very well known in clubs and abroad. I went for halfway. 04 The Wanted- Glad You Came They fell off the cliff after this. 02 Wretch 32 Ft Josh Kumra- Don't Go 00 X-Factor Finalists 2011 Ft JLS & One Direction- Wishing On A Star 2011 absolutely messes all over 2010 from a great height in terms of memorable #1's.
