I think it'll be before Joker, but not anytime soon. Spring 2024 is my guess and also that would be nice given a lot of her releases have felt like fall releases: ARTPOP, Joanne, ASIB and TFM and the two jazz records. I suppose the closest we've got to spring releases were BTW and Chromatica, both released in May (although the pandemic ruined the mood of a summer record), so it would be cool if she did do a spring release. I wonder how she'd fare? Hmm

Saw it tonight and loved it. Not really into Disney films and remakes but I'd actually never seen the original Little Mermaid so thought heck, why not? and wow, Halle was superb. Never missed a beat. Her voice was superb, the pacing was great and it looked great. Incredible, she deserves all the attention she's getting for this. P.S. I couldn't stop looking at Melissa McCarthy's bad makeup job, yikes that MUA was out of his depth (no pun intended).

Anyone else still crying at the season 2 finale? Just gave it a second time and woah, what a sucker punch. I know this season wasn't perfect, but it still had its highs for me: Jackie being snackie, Crystal's leap of faith??, the whole of episode 6. I've found I am absolutely in love with the 1996/7 timeline and my favourite memories are from that and the present day timeline just falls flat, it felt so disconnected and they should've reunited sooner I think. Would've loved more time with them as a six together. The performances (especially the Sophies) and the music choices this year have been 10/10 though. I can't fault them for that, it's the writing that's just felt off, especially compared to the masterpiece of season 1.
