  1. I think so, yes. In german speaking countries it actually is the first single, released as a Double-A-side with "Womans's World". She also performed it in the biggest tv show here last week and it really helped selling the album.
  2. The No. 13 and the No. 63 version combined put it comfortably at No. 10 currently. :)
  3. That has been huge last week in the US and all over Europe, as it's been all over the news. Wonder why the UK probably missed it. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/...-lorraine-song/
  4. Hm, I've just realised that the pre-order for "Roar" has disappeard from the singles chart. But the single is sill availabe, so can't see why
  5. Well I am not surprised that the song is not so high in the singles chart, because it is part of a 4-track EP that you get for £ 1.99, while 1 song alone costs 99p, so a lot of people go for the better deal and get the whole EP, hence why this is No. 1 on the album chart. Plus of course he ha s a CD-single for this out, that has already done well on pre-orders for e.g. on amazon. And of course you can also get the whole package via his official homepage. Considering all that, I would not already count him out for a Top 10 position on the official chart.
  6. Well, that might be right. In my country, radio stations quite often play "Bad Romance", "Paparazzi" or "BTW", but you hardly hear "PF" nowadays. But, when they play it, for example while I'm at work, everybody goes crazy, and dances and sings along.
  7. Well of course more people are just dowloading one song if the rest of the album is not good. :P So these artists can be proud because they sold loads of singles, while no one wants their album  As i said this whole discussion does not make any sense at all, but well, this whole thread has become some sort of joke today.
  8. Maybe "Blurred Lines" the song will sell more than "Poker Face" - but i can definitely not see Robin Thicke sell as many albums as Lady Gaga did with "The Fame". So maybe in 10 years probably more people will own "PF" than "BL" because they got the album instead of the single. However, this discusion is ridiculous.
  9. Obviously not, she has been in a relationship with property developer Thomas Starr from 2002-2012 and gave birth to a girl in 2009. However these rumours have been around for years and in interviews she said that they actually used to make her ill. Btw. she also had a brief romance with Robbie Williams ages ago. However, i really hope the duet with matt Cardle can become a hit.
  10. No, it seems the whole world (except the US and Canada) is waiting for the release. Radio stations keep telling that we can buy the song now - but i guess the local record companies just did not give them any proper information too, so we can just sit and wait.
  11. Is there any chance that the new single by Martin Solveig is going to become a hit in the UK? It does not seem to get any radio support, unsure about music channels playing the video. It is a decent hit in german speaking countries as radio stations here love the song, i've seen it doing quite well in Ireland too. It's a good, summery song and it would be a shame if it flops :(
  12. I would not say getting from 0.8678 to 0.8777 in 2,5 hours is gaining that quickly. The 2nd version of I love it at No. 141 might already equal that difference and the EP is still selling quite good too. So no need to :w00t: ;)
  13. Mariah Carey - #Beautiful (feat. Miguel) back up to No. 20. Nice recovery after it fell as low as No. 28 on Sunday. I really hope it will continue climbing and hopefully be Top 20 officially too. Btw. she announced today that the album will not be released in July  so hopefully the song will stay in the charts for a few more weeks
  14. The Top 4 on itunes are still miles ahead of the rest, so they will not drop that much places. And only their sales of yesterday and today pretty much ensure them a Top 4 placing on Sunday.
  15. I've just seen that Tiesto made a remix of the song, and that it's on his Club Life album which gets released next week. But i'm 99,9% sure it will be album only.
  16. but that's on the album chart, where sales are much lower then on the singles chart ;) so you can't compare it to e.g. "Blurred Lines".
  17. PJ & Duncan 1.00 Saturdays 0.865 PJ & Duncan now also have a second version in the Top 100 at No.75 with 0.030, its credited to "Ant & Dec" but as its the same song it should count towards the top version. Looks like they will be at No 1 in the first midweeks
  18. steps posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
I had really hoped Brian McFaddens comeback in the UK might have a bigger impact. So far its No. 67, worried now it could even miss the Top 40 officially on sunday.
  19. it did not chart in the Billboard Hot 100 back then because it was not released on CD as a single in the US.
  20. Her Christmas song from 2000. It was included on the Compilation "Platinum Christmas" which was released by Jive Records that year. It was never released as a single and is not on any of her albums. It seems to be rather forgotten by now.
  21. The Justice Collective is not out until tomorrow?
  22. It has been deleted in every country it seems. It was the single version that was released before the album. You can sill buy the song if you want to - but only the version from the album. Silly move though as the deleted version was higher in the itunes charts and so she is losing her No 1 effect and Top 10 effect in several countries.
  23. Seems like "Little Things" has had it's peak and is now slowly starting to decrease. The highest lead they had combined was 113% vs. 0.7188 (LM) and 113% vs. 0.6875 vs. Bruno which was this morning. Diffult to tell how much of a lead they need for the rest of the week to overcome the missing sales of sunday.
  24. One Direction - 100% + 16% = 116 %. They have a 2nd version currently at No 24.
  25. Bon Jovi come to my mind. They have had 18 Top 10 Hits (20 if you include the 2 Jon had as a solo artist). Their peaks range from No.2 to No. 10 but no No.1 for them. Of course they always were strong album sellers (scoring 5 consecutive No. 1 albums) but especially in the Mid 90s their singles also did very well, so one would think there would have been a quiet week where they could have reached the top spot. "This ain't a love song" had a strong opening as it was No. 1 in the midweeks but dropped to No. 6 as the week went on - holding the infamous record for lowest peaking Midweek No. 1 <_< . And "Always" of course lost out to Whigfield back in 1994.
