  1. The top version of the SHM song is now 0.95 of "Skyfal". Combined with the 2nd version (0.0775) and the EP that puts them well in the lead now. Compared to Rihanna and PSY - they both "only" sell haf the amount of the top 2 - Adele and SHM must have very high sales at the moment.
  2. Of course this are just estimations but the numbers don't seem to be that unrealistic. Multiply it by 7 and it would look like 126.000/week for Rihanna, 88.000 for PSY and 72.000 for Adele.
  3. The new David Guetta feat. Sia song is released in that week too and might be a No. 1 conteder aswell. It just looks like it won't get a seperate single release on sunday and so can only get purchased from the album that is released on monday. I really hope that does not hurt the sales and effect the chart position too much.
  4. ok, then amazon has got it wrong - i better never ever rely on their release dates
  5. Owl City's album is just released digitally tomorrow - the CD follows on September 17th - the week after the single is released. So I don't expect it will have a big impact on the album charts and it will probably not affect the sales of the single.
  6. Summer of '69 up to 39. I would really love to see it in the official Top 40 on Sunday. It's an abolute classic and deserves a much better peak in the Uk than No. 42.
  7. Combined "Payphone" actually still has got quite a comfortable lead. And that it got back to No. 1 yesterday officially surely gave it another boost.
  8. Surprises me too. And together with the 2nd version at 34, he is comfortably in 3rd place. The way things look right now he might even be able to hold that position until sunday. :o
  9. I wonder why the official Song for the Euro "Endles Summer" by Oceana has not been released in the Uk yet. Her album is planned to be releaed on June 22nd - you can pre-order it on itunes. So, maybe they're just hoping the track will be individually downloaded from then on
  10. livepopbars says currently: Cheryl 1.00 Flo Rida 0.60 Barlow & Rudimental 0.30
  11. I really hope MLJ is 59p soon too :P
  12. It's just the remixes that have been discounted. The original and the extended version are still 99p.

The Sonique song was absolutely huge at that time - it being 3 weeks at the top back them was quite an achiemevent and it also was a big hit all over Europe and the US. Doubt anyone who was into charts in the early 00s is unabble to remember it  Even though i am not from the UK i remember loads of the songs named - think it depens on how interested you are in music and charts
  14. the song samples a song that was 51 weeks in the german chart and got as high as No. 4. :P
  15. Just listened to the new Plan B song for the first time and it obviously samples "Alles neu". A song by German artist Peter Fox released in 2008. :o I find that rather strange
  16. the 00s are the years from 2000-2009. so how should albums and singles released in 2010 and 2011 be in this countdown

The most fascinating thing about this Alex Day song is, that there is no EP with all versions available. Every version is available as a sinlge of its own. So to get the 9 versions available you have to spend £7.11. While an EP normally costs no more than £2.49. Some of his fans really seem to be crazy to get this to the top.

Not looking too bad for her. I was just wondering why you should download a 2:12 min song when you can listen to a 1:30 preview for free - but for the short UK edit the preview is limited to 30 seconds <_< Still i don't understand the extreme shortness of UK edits

Military Wives straight in at No. 1 with double the sales of little mix. Oh well, of course nobody is going to buy this, has no appeal to the younger audience and won't sell as a download
  20. This has flopped hard almost everywhere it's been released so far - even in countries where Mr. Saxobeat was a No. 1 smash. Did not even reach Top 100 in Germany this week  So it would be a surprise if it did well in the UK. An andvantage could be that the album has not yet been released - the rest of Europe got it back in October. So there might be enough demand for the song - and it should go Top 40 - at least some time after X-mas.
  21. not sure what the share of amazons digital market has got to do with the sales of this song. on amazon bestellers list for CDs it's currently No. 3 - just behind Buble and Amy - but outselling Coldplay, Adele and Now thats what I call Music 80. It's pre-order sales of almost 3 weeks will of course add to the sales next week too. it is absolutely huge on CD - the fact it's only 1.99 might help for sure. for me this makes it the most obvous No.1 of the year - but let's wait and see ...

"Titanium" was so far not released as a proper single in Austria and Germany - but it's the most successful song from the "NBTB" album there. :P

Exactly my thoughts over the last 2 weeks (since its up for pre-order). The fact that the single is competing with albums that are selling approx. 200k/week overall just seems to be ignored. Everyone is just talking about it not having big download-sales next week - but they would not need a single download sold if they sell - let's say 500k physicals ...
