I’m not really feeling it, he can be hit or miss for me, mind you ‘In My Blood’ did grow on me eventually so maybe this will.

I love it, though I did love ‘Empire State Of Mind’ too but this was my favourite. I remember they had Sugababes in the studio and the Chart DJ was like ‘Congratulations, you are number.... 2!’ They were like ‘Gee thanks’ :lol:

This is all pretty great to be honest. I like every single song on it! I find ‘Superstar’ kinda sad though, just the way it’s sung and some of the lyrics but have no idea why. I need to listen to the new songs more. K bye

I don’t understand the lukewarm/poor perception of ‘Orange Trees’, I think it is positive and catchy!! I can’t get enough of it at the moment.

I like ‘Orange Trees’ - It’s probably my favourite from this era so far. When I’ve listened to the three tracks she’s recently released, they kind of make me feel at peace/at ease. I think the love side of the album will be full of bops.

I love it too, other then the ‘ooh ooh’ chorus, it reminds me a bit of ‘Ghosttown’ by Madonna.

I've just heard it for the first time (haven't got the re-issue yet) and it's so good! :wub: She's one of these rare artists that has never dropped in quality, right from debut until now, and this is super catchy. BD4tBEhPbLY

It’s definitely more ‘pure pop’ than her previous stuff but I really like it on first listen (though tbf I like everything she puts out, she could release a 10 minute track of just her burping and I’d be like BEST THING EVAR!!!111) But this just flows really well and is quite fun. Looking forward to the album! We’ve had 2 from the love side, I can’t wait for the fear side.

Just listened to this a few times. Firstly, this is the first time that Marina has ever led (properly) with a ballad, so that’s a change. On the first few listens, it sounds a little MOR but it’s great to hear her voice on a new record and I’d imagine it’s definitely a grower. Also, Marina is the kind of person who wouldn’t release it if she felt it wasn’t important/relevant. She also said that the first single in no way represents the album. For now, I’m going to just take it as it is, and enjoy it.

I have so much love for this woman and I love all these songs. I know this is based on sales but I’d struggle to pick a top 20 of my faves, there are that many. Are You Satisfied?, Shampain, I Am Not A Robot, Mowgli’s Road, Obsessions, Hollywood, Oh No!, Rootless, Primadonna, Lies, Starting Role, Power & Control, Teen Idle, Valley Of The Dolls, Fear and Loathing, Radioactive, Happy, Froot, I’m A Ruin, Blue, Better Than That and Savages are all personal highlights for me. Outstanding moments.

Camilla is definitely one of the weakest finalists IMO - But I think she will win going by the editing. I really warmed to Kadijha in the end and thought she was one of the strongest, but her business doesn’t have much of a USP and I think would be difficult to scale up.

I thought Jackie and Jasmine were going to be the final 2 lmao. I actually think Lord Sugar quite likes Khadija and he repeated the ‘acorn’ comments several times after she said it. Ben was a dead man walking really and should have gone weeks ago. I think Daniel and Sian to some degree are really shining at the moment. I would be happy if they were the final 2!
