Born To Die was a fantastic album, and the Paradise re-release was also so good. I really enjoy tracks from Ultraviolence, but as an album, I think I appreciate Honeymoon more. Highlights from her albums so far for me have been most of Born To Die, 'Ride', 'Gods and Monsters', 'West Coast', 'Ultraviolence'(the song), 'Florida Keys', 'Music To Watch Boys To', 'High By The Beach', 'Art Deco' and 'The Blackest Day'. There are more I like too but these are probably the highlighs.
  2. I've now caught up with the series and here's my verdict! 01 Jayne - She's been the star of the series so far. 02 Hughie - I like how he stands up for what he believes in and is good entertainment 03 Laura - She seems like the kind of person I'd like to be around and I think she's come out of the aftermath of the Marco situation really well. 04 Andy - I like how he's appeared so far and seems to have some sort of substance that makes him interesting. 05 Emma - I think the other housemates are a bit harsh about her, she's been okay so far. 06 Ryan - I love his diva tantrums  07 Evelyn - Not sure what to make of Evelyn, she's started coming out of her shell though, at least. 08 Jackson - Seems a likable person but I can't fully take to him for some reason, something seems a bit off. 09 Jason - Not really bothered. 10 Alex - The most attractive of the guys in the house, but seems to have a personality of a slow worm. 11 Georgina - Doesn't come across as a nice person in the slightest but she's also fascinating to watch. Also love the RBF. 12 Lateysha - I thought I'd love her from her VT but I'm not a fan of her in the house unfortunately. 13 Charlie - I got bored of her story with Jason by like the 4th episode. I literally don't care and she hasn't given much else. 14 Chelsea - Generally unlikeable. 15 Sam - Such a stirrer and both stuck up and a suck up. I don't particularly like the group he's in either but he also doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. Ew. Out: Andrew - Gave me the creeps for some reason  Marco - Vile Natalie - Fantastic entertainment as the catalyst of arguments but I imagine she'd be a nightmare to live with...
  3. Just heard 'In Control' on the music channel and it sounded very good on first listen! 'Try Sleeping...', 'Doesn't Mean Anything' and 'Brand New Me' are some of my favourites from her more recent eras. May have to listen to some of her back catalogue now!
  4. This song is very good indeed. I've had it on repeat all day!
  5. The vocal editing does sound a little weird, but she sings every word like she really means it. I love it, it's so good to hear her again.
  6. Her singles so far (for me) Break Free Dangerous Woman One Last Time Love Me Harder Focus Problem I like them all though. The only one I don't listen to as frequently as the others is 'Problem'.
  7. Absolutely love this  - I expected it to be a hit but not top 2. One of my favourite songs of the year so far, without a doubt.
  8. I love this song, glad it's going to get a push!

  10. Hmm, yeah, looking back, 'Talk That Talk' wasn't so great. I did/do still love 'Where Have You Been', 'We Found Love', 'Talk That Talk' and 'Drunk On Love' though. 'Farewell' was nice too. I haven't given 'ANTi' a spin properly let but I like 'Desperados' and 'Kiss It Better' so far. I didn't expect to like 'Work' but it's really growing on me.
  11. Sad that Tiff is out! Wanted her to be top #3! Stephanie was controversial in the house but I never found her loathable like Helen. How Helen won is still a mystery to me.
  12. I am loving this album too. I think my personal favourite is 'Surburbia'.
  13. I love the songs #12-14, I love 'Lies' and 'Teen Idle'. I do really enjoy all the songs left, but I'm hoping 'Mowgli's Road', 'Froot' and 'Radioactive' are in the top 5. I find 'Happy' very special too, and obviously, 'I'm A Ruin' is an anthem. With the albums, I'm not surprised 'Electra Heart' finished last. The good tracks on the album are all very good, but the record is probably more hit and miss than the other two. I love 'Froot' because it's very cohesive and Marina put a lot of work towards the production of the album - But I love the themes in TFJ.
  14. 'Valley Of The Dolls' and 'Rootless' way too low IMO. 'Better Than That' is very good too IMO.

The album version of 'Hollywood' is everything. I had four rated at 11, and it was so hard to narrow it down, but I eventually lowered 'Froot' to a 10. :drama: . Next in line for an 11 other than Froot would have been Lies. I've fallen in love with 'Teen Idle' since her Neon Nature tour!
  16. Yes to the rate!
  17. I think Lauren's a goner. :( EDIT: Or maybe not!
  18. Mine is delayed too! Looks like they are having a few issues - Hope they get them out soon.
  19. I was also at the Cardiff show yesterday. She was fantastic!! - 'Lies' was my favourite moment I think. 'Oh No!', 'Blue', 'I'm A Ruin' and 'Froot' were highlights but 'Mowgli's Road' and 'Happy' were great too. In fact, I think I just loved them all. Her vocals and outfits were on point as usual, and the way the acts/setlist were split was effective made everything feel fresh. I do wish 'Radioactive' was there though as that is one of my favourites. Also love that her mum was there, somewhere! Someone also shouted "Abergavenny" at her and she gave a big grin!
  20. Oh dear Olly, what a mess.
  21. I hate the "I'm going to let the public decide" cop out!
  22. I really hope Seann somehow manages to stay. His performance wasn't bottom three worthy IMO.
  23. I'm pretty sure they're going to save Mason, if he isn't eliminated straight away.

I've heard this for the first time today and absolutely love it. That chorus is incredible!! And because I love a rank... Hometown Glory Rolling In The Deep Set Fire To The Rain Hello Chasing Pavements Someone Like You Skyfall Make You Feel My Love Cold Shoulder I do love them all though. Flawless! I don't think it was officially, although it did have a chart impact date at one point, and although some radios were playing it, it didn't really do much as I think by then, nearly everyone in the UK owned the album. so the chart impact date got cancelled a week or two prior.
