  1. Just heard 'In Control' on the music channel and it sounded very good on first listen! 'Try Sleeping...', 'Doesn't Mean Anything' and 'Brand New Me' are some of my favourites from her more recent eras. May have to listen to some of her back catalogue now!
  2. This song is very good indeed. I've had it on repeat all day!
  3. The vocal editing does sound a little weird, but she sings every word like she really means it. I love it, it's so good to hear her again.
  4. Her singles so far (for me) Break Free Dangerous Woman One Last Time Love Me Harder Focus Problem I like them all though. The only one I don't listen to as frequently as the others is 'Problem'.
  5. Absolutely love this  - I expected it to be a hit but not top 2. One of my favourite songs of the year so far, without a doubt.
  6. I love this song, glad it's going to get a push!
  7. https://vine.co/v/ijB5ZwYE5Wa
  8. Hmm, yeah, looking back, 'Talk That Talk' wasn't so great. I did/do still love 'Where Have You Been', 'We Found Love', 'Talk That Talk' and 'Drunk On Love' though. 'Farewell' was nice too. I haven't given 'ANTi' a spin properly let but I like 'Desperados' and 'Kiss It Better' so far. I didn't expect to like 'Work' but it's really growing on me.
  9. Sad that Tiff is out! Wanted her to be top #3! Stephanie was controversial in the house but I never found her loathable like Helen. How Helen won is still a mystery to me.
  10. I am loving this album too. I think my personal favourite is 'Surburbia'.
  11. I love the songs #12-14, I love 'Lies' and 'Teen Idle'. I do really enjoy all the songs left, but I'm hoping 'Mowgli's Road', 'Froot' and 'Radioactive' are in the top 5. I find 'Happy' very special too, and obviously, 'I'm A Ruin' is an anthem. With the albums, I'm not surprised 'Electra Heart' finished last. The good tracks on the album are all very good, but the record is probably more hit and miss than the other two. I love 'Froot' because it's very cohesive and Marina put a lot of work towards the production of the album - But I love the themes in TFJ.
  12. 'Valley Of The Dolls' and 'Rootless' way too low IMO. 'Better Than That' is very good too IMO.

The album version of 'Hollywood' is everything. I had four rated at 11, and it was so hard to narrow it down, but I eventually lowered 'Froot' to a 10. :drama: . Next in line for an 11 other than Froot would have been Lies. I've fallen in love with 'Teen Idle' since her Neon Nature tour!
  14. Yes to the rate!
  15. I think Lauren's a goner. :( EDIT: Or maybe not!
  16. Mine is delayed too! Looks like they are having a few issues - Hope they get them out soon.
  17. I was also at the Cardiff show yesterday. She was fantastic!! - 'Lies' was my favourite moment I think. 'Oh No!', 'Blue', 'I'm A Ruin' and 'Froot' were highlights but 'Mowgli's Road' and 'Happy' were great too. In fact, I think I just loved them all. Her vocals and outfits were on point as usual, and the way the acts/setlist were split was effective made everything feel fresh. I do wish 'Radioactive' was there though as that is one of my favourites. Also love that her mum was there, somewhere! Someone also shouted "Abergavenny" at her and she gave a big grin!
  18. Oh dear Olly, what a mess.
  19. I hate the "I'm going to let the public decide" cop out!
  20. I really hope Seann somehow manages to stay. His performance wasn't bottom three worthy IMO.
  21. I'm pretty sure they're going to save Mason, if he isn't eliminated straight away.

I've heard this for the first time today and absolutely love it. That chorus is incredible!! And because I love a rank... Hometown Glory Rolling In The Deep Set Fire To The Rain Hello Chasing Pavements Someone Like You Skyfall Make You Feel My Love Cold Shoulder I do love them all though. Flawless! I don't think it was officially, although it did have a chart impact date at one point, and although some radios were playing it, it didn't really do much as I think by then, nearly everyone in the UK owned the album. so the chart impact date got cancelled a week or two prior.
  23. 1 - Louisa Johnson 2 - 4th Impact 3 - Seann Miley Moore 4 - Keira Weathers 5 - Alien Uncovered 6 - Lauren Murray 7 - Bupsi 8 - Max Stone 9 - Reggie n Bollie 10 - Anton Stephens 11 - Che Chesterman 12 - Mason Noise
  24. I've just caught up on X Factor from the weekend just gone so here's my two pennies worth! The only judge I disagreed with was Nick. He put through two of my least favourites from that stage of the competition! Really don't like Mason Noise at all, and although Che can definitely sing well, every song he sings sounds the same, and he reminds me of when I lived at university and had a flatmate who both looked and sounded like him who would just sing really LOUDLY ALL DAY EVERY DAY and after a year I was ready to hack my own ears off. -_- I'm happy with Seann being put through, but would have liked Simon and Josh to have gone through as well. I agree with the decisions Rita made. I wasn't a fan of Monica before that performance but did really enjoy it so wouldn't have minded if she had been put through. I think Louisa is my favourite in the competition at the moment but I like Keira too. I think Cheryl put through the best groups. I like both the girlbands and although I'm not as keen on the two guys, they have more star quality than the other acts left in that category. Simon has made a couple of interesting choices, but they clearly put Bupsie through for the entertainment factor. Maybe Simon has got withdrawal symptoms from not having Sinitta on this year? But I do like Bupsie. I think Jennifer is great vocally but I didn't find her particularly interesting. Anton really scares me.
  25. Really beautiful song, and a beautiful yet sad video. Obsessed with Troye atm.
