What an interesting song! It does sound like it was made for Christina, and it does feel a little out of date, but I can imagine it doing quite well. I prefer 'Heart Cry' more but 'Nasty' sounds like quite a big record, even if Pixie does go a bit OTT in places!

The backing is growing on me a little. I think Ellie is lucky in the way that she won't ever sound like a generic female vocalist, as her voice is so unique - She's just been losing it slightly for me with 'HLWILY' and now this. 'Burn' wasn't her best but I can see why it was popular - Her breaking into the mainstream whilst still having her fanbase behind her, I think it's how she's going to maintain that in the future. 'Figure 8', 'I Know You Care' and 'Anything Could Happen' are sublime, as is most of the original 'Halcyon'. It will be interesting to see what direction she takes with her next album!

Dear god, I love Ellie but this song is quite poor, especially for a single! I can barely hear her voice over the music in the background :lol: . I do think 'Stay Awake' would have been a far superior single.

Absolutely ecstatic that 'Timber' is #1!!!! I thought it might just scrape the top 10. Both this and 'Crazy Kids' have done better than expected and glad Ke$ha now has another #1 listed under her discography :) Hoe Ke$ha can recover well over the next few weeks. :)

'Hey Brother' is still sounding incredible, some great songs in the top 10 at the moment what with this, 'Happy' and soon to be 'Timber' :wub:

'Trumpets' is one of Jason's more naff songs IMO.

I love that Ellie has made #1! The original part of the album is super! 'Halcyon', 'Hanging On', ''Figure 8', 'Anything Could Happen', 'Only You' and 'My Blood' are all incredible. :wub:

'Love Me Again' is probably one of my favourite songs from this year :D Shame 'La La La' has done absolutely nothing.

'Happy' is an amazing song and a great way to end 2013 and begin 2014 with! :)

Avicii's singles just keep getting better for me :wub: I loathed the Leona collab and didn't find Levels anything special but 'You Make Me' and 'Hey Brother' have been sublime. :wub:

'Hard Out Here' really should have been bigger, they really should have got slightly more radio friendly edits out faster IMO but I think it would have always been overshadowed by this anyway, perhaps a February release for it would have been better.

I think Jameela has forgotten 'One Of The Boys'... as Katy has three albums! (well and a re-release)

One Direction have quite a strong back catalogue of singles IMO, 'Best Song Ever' is probably my favourite now but 'Story Of My Life' is also really nice. Not too sure on 'Midnight Memories' yet.

'Little Me' is really great, it sounds huge, new and fresh, yet like a classic girl group power anthem at the same time. They've put out some great singles!

I find 'Under Control' so amazing. :wub:

I really don't like 'Unconditionally', by far the worst single she's ever released. Excited for 'Dark Horse' though!

Warrior is one of my favourite albums of last year. 'Die Young', 'Crazy Kids', 'C'mon', 'Thinking Of You', 'Love Into The Light', 'Wherever You Are', 'Last Goodbye' and 'Out Alive' are all incredible. I really enjoyed 'Dirty Love', 'Supernatural', 'Gold TransAm' as well, so naturally, I am VERY excited for this. I hope she delivers! I haven't listened to every song on Animal/Cannibal, but I love all the singles from it plus 'Animal'.
