  1. Lorde - Perfect Places. What a #95 smash that was. Paloma Faith - Til I’m Done
  2. Least favourite: Small Bump (followed by Perfect) Favourite: YNMIDNY (followed by Bloodstream)
  3. Make Your Own Kind Of Music to 19 Til’ I’m Done to 37
  4. Literally love how Paloma has 3 songs in the iTunes top 40 at the moment. *.* NU RIHANNA ‘Make Your Own Kind Of Music’ is now up to 23!
  5. 'Stone Cold Sober' really is great, and it's aged pretty well (so has a lot of her stuff though tbh).
  6. I’d love for ‘Til’ I’m Done’ to get a higher official peak than #95 or whatever it is :( Any sign of ‘Upside Down’? Everyone seems to love it but it never has the chart success to match
  7. Both of these are incredible! ‘Til I’m Done’ is lead single worthy.
  8. I love this woman and still find her so underrated generally. FROOT > TFJ > EH There have been great tracks from all of them though. These are my absolute favourites (though there are still loads more I like) I Am Not A Robot Mowgli's Road Obsessions Hollywood Oh No! Lies Teen Idle Fear and Loathing Happy Froot I'm A Ruin Froot just works as a cohesive body of work for me. A proper solid album. I will enjoy listening to 'Valley Of The Dolls' tomorrow as my train passes Abergavenny.
  9. I love this! Very good. Needed some new Y&Y. :)
  10. I find it OK. He is quite hit and miss for me with 'Mercy' and 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back' being amazing - but I find this almost tries too hard and as a result could be so much better. The chorus is the best bit though. With 'Lost In Japan' I think the verses are very strong but the chorus is weak. Maybe they'll both grow a bit as I generally like his voice.
  11. ‘Trouble With My Baby’ is okay. RFTGL is quirky and underrated, though it’s not as instant as a lot of her other stuff.
  12. Sad to see ‘Beauty Remains’ so low, I think it’s actually very underrated. ‘Black and Blue’ is a solid album track but didn’t work that well for me as a single TBH.

It seems that the same 5 people have been nominated for every award

So happy for Lorde. 'Melodrama' was sublime.
  17. This was really hard. 10 Stone Cold Sober - So, so good and catchy and this instantly set Paloma apart from other artists for me. 10 New York - I was absolutely obsessed with this. So emotional and some story telling. 08.5 Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? - This sounds so moody and dark but is also quite soothing to listen to. 07[ Upside Down - I love the lyrics and how upbeat it is but I have to be in the mood to listen or I find it a little annoying. 09.5 Smoke & Mirrors - This is fabulous. I love how she draws in things from when she was a magician's assistant too, to describe a failed romance. 09 Picking Up the Pieces - I remember being super excited when this got released. Such a huge song and one that definitely started getting her noticed. 07 30 Minute Love Affair - Nice enough but it is kinda just there for me. 08 Never Tear Us Apart - Lovely cover which suits her voice well. 06.5 Just Be - Hmm. Some parts of this song are exceptional, but I feel like this song tries too hard and I hate the "Just say nothing" line. 06.5 Black & Blue - It's got a nice message and makes a solid album track but not sure for a single... 11 Can't Rely on You - Absolute anthem and her live performances of this are amazing. 08.5 Only Love Can Hurt Like This - This song is like a rich indulgent chocolate. Nice to listen to but only once in a while. I do love it though. 07.5 Trouble with My Baby - Had to look this one up but I do know it. It's pretty good but not that memorable. 09 Changing (with Sigma) - This is huge, and I'm so glad she collaborated on this - It still sounds great now! 08.5 Ready for the Good Life - This is one I forget exists sometimes but it's pretty cool and quirky once you listen. It doesn't follow the same set up as a lot of her other songs. 05 Leave While I'm Not Looking - This is a poor man's OLCHLT really. Probably my least favourite single. 08 Beauty Remains - I had to look this up too and then realised it used to be on the loop tape at work! I always really liked it and found it to be quite emotional. Definitely underrated. 10 Crybaby - This still sounds so original yet catchy and one of her best singles to date for me. 09.5 Guilty - This is huge and honest. Another one I had on repeat. 10 'Til I'm Done - What a banger! Incredible, upbeat, catchy and I love how it draws some influences from late 70s/early 80s disco. What else would you want from a pop song??
  18. The video is fantastic and this is an absolute banger.
  19. My rate is incoming, but can we all take some time to appreciate the video for 'Smoke & Mirrors'? AIYqNj3DBzo
  20. I absolutely loved the ‘Froot’ era. There were only a couple of weaker songs on it and they weren’t even that bad. ‘Froot’, ‘Happy’, ‘Immortal’, ‘I’m A Ruin’; ‘Savages’; ‘Blue’, ‘Better Than That’ are all fab and ‘Gold’, ‘Forget’ and ‘Can’t Pin Me Down’ are all fairly good. Only ‘Weeds’ and ‘Solitaire’ were weak for me. She has such a great back catalogue and she is amazing live.
  21. Just heard this, and it is super! Didn’t really notice it on the album but it works so well as a single
  22. Daniel is going to be here until the end isn’t he... <_<
  23. Of those up, I hope Maggie and John go. Nice enough people but both have been dull housemates.
  24. 01 (01) Rachel Johnson (01-01-01) 02 (03) Shane Jenek (03-02) 03 (04) Andrew Brady (04-03) 04 (02) Amanda Barrie (04-02-04) 05 (06) Malika Haqq (05-06-05) 06 (08) Maggie Oliver (02-08-06) 07 (07) John Barnes (07-07) 08 (05) Ashley James (03-05-08) 09 (13) Ginuwine (13-09) 10 (14) Ann Widdecombe (08-14-10) 11 (10) John Mitchell (10-11) 12 (11) Jess Impiazzi (06-11-12) 13 (16) India Willoughby (07-16-13) 14 (12) Wayne Sleep (12-14) 15 (09) Shane Lynch (09-15) 16 (15) Daniel O'Reilly (15-16) A pretty strong house this time! The only one I'm not a fan of is Daniel but he's not even that bad compared to previous CBB/BB contestants. I sometimes forget 11-15 are there, but I don't dislike them.
  25. India would drive me mad if I was in the house with her but I feel she’s given a lot more to the series out of the two up so she’d be my choice to stay. Won’t happen though.
