How Ya Doin’? seems to be a very slow seller these days but it probably isn’t too far away from receiving a Silver certification. Cannonball is a very slow seller as well so it’s still miles off Platinum I would say (probably still under 550k).

The production on this is absolutely lush! :wub: Great song, easily their best single since Power for me. Nothing groundbreaking but so joyful and fun with so much replayability. Radio 1 and Capital should hopefully eat this up as it’s so radio friendly and carefree.

I would like them to release something original rather than a ‘80s/‘90s throwback or ripping off other artist songs. They need to stop chasing trends tbh (I know they need/want a big hit but I want some originality too).

Friends has always been repeated regularly on NBC since syndication, and is currently airing on Nick at Nite, PHL17 (Pennsylvania and New Jersey), MTV and TBS. That said, you’re probably right about it being more popular in the UK than in the US. Friends has always been the biggest import from America, in terms of cultural impact and ratings. In the US, it’s more even. There was more competition back in the ‘90s. Arguably, the likes of Seinfeld, Cheers and The Simpsons had more cultural impact and bigger ratings than Friends did in its peak. I agree though, Friends is a very cosy show. That’s why it has such massive appeal, despite some of its shortcomings.

Ranking Friends and Will & Grace as the two best sitcoms though :mellow: :wacko:
