I just feel like the song doesn't really have anything to it, it's so pedestrian sounding and the chorus is totally flat.
'The Loving Kind' is like a much improved version of it.
That's exactly how I feel about 'The Loving Kind'. It's basically 'Call The Shots' part 2, and it's nowhere near as good. It was also first time in their career where I felt they released a song that didn't feel fresh or unique (covers excluded).

What is it about it which makes you feel it doesn't deserve to be rated as highly as it is? :( It's such a glorious pop song. That middle 8 is one of the best Girls Aloud moments ever, especially in concert. For me, it thoroughly deserves the praise it gets. I'd even lean towards it being underrated rather than overrated. It should have done more than #3 / Silver (ugh, 2007 sales).

Regarding the overall results, 'Something New' coming 27th is still completely ridiculous. I'm a bit disappointed that 'Something Kinda Ooooh' missed out on the Top 5. Surprised that 'Sexy!' missed out on Top 10 whereas 'The Loving Kind' made it in.
Spot on, as usual James. 'Call The Shots' is pop perfection. It's probably one of my favourite pop songs in the last decade or so.
Back to the results, I'd like to add that 'The Promise' is way too low and 'Can't Speak French' is a tad too high, but other than that the results are about right. 'Sound Of The Underground' is a great winner.

Crawley have only played two league games so far this year. If they run into injury problems they could struggle as they will be playing two games per week for long periods.
That's true. They will struggle big time if they pick up a few injuries. Having so many games in hand could actually be their downfall in the end.

I think Tony Pulis is a rather incredible manager - I'm almost certain that he will be offered a better job next year.
Tony Pulis (or 'Tony Clueless' as us Bristol City fans like to call him) was absolutely awful with us back in 1999. He completely ruined my club in 6 months with overpaid, unfit and injury prone wasters. The football was dreadful to watch as well, long ball shite. The only positive thing I can say about him is that we kept a lot of clean sheets. I can remember drawing many boring games 0-0 and 1-1. It's frustrating to think we appointed him over David Moyes or Peter Taylor.
He really is hated by many City fans. He also used to play for Bristol Rovers, which didn't exactly help. It's odd how well he's done at other clubs (Gillingham and Stoke in particular) yet was a complete failure here.

Another disappointing performance and result for Bristol City, drawing 2-2 with Tranmere. Although it was important not to lose, we really need to be winning against teams around us at home. It's really tight at the bottom of League 1 though. It's also crazy to think that Crawley have 7 games in hand on us. :o

Looks like Olly Murs could be a judge now.

Any ideas of the sales of Braveheart and Trouble? I believe Trouble re-entered the top 200 on iTunes at one point too which is good, I think people didn't take to Trouble as much because it seemed too similar to I Love It.
I'd say it's more to do with the fact that 'Trouble' is a shower of shite. :puke2:
