Nah that's not the issue because it was showing up in grey for me as well and I didn't download it, today it's showing up in white and has leapt into the top 20

Seems similar to an issue with Heartbeat Song last week, it was showing up in grey for me and was around 50 on the spotify chart, this week it's now showing in white and leapt up to number 15

I think the chart day will change, my guess is Saturday? Edit: Actually no that makes no sense, the most likely day would be Thursday, with sames from Friday to Wednesday being counted
