  1. Either way I want Ella Henderson to be number one so I hope she don't release it to the middle of the week or something
  2. But will it be itunes only, because its chart success could be affected if these streaming rumours are true, I actually think the itunes album may have been meant to be Mariah but the label changed their mind
  3. Streaming would have had affect I think on a few songs that were very popular a couple of years back but not streaming, paradise by coldplay wasn't streaming at first as far as i know, certainly Taylor Swift's songs I Knew You Were Trouble and 22 weren't for some time either.
  4. On napster which I subsribe to their current number 23 song is Adele- someone like you, Passenger and Let Her go is also still proving very popular
  5. If streaming is counted, will the artists withholding their music from streaming sites, suddenly make it available for streaming sites, remains to be seen
  6. Which streaming sites are currently used for the streaming charts? i'm guess they'll be the ones counted, I doubt you tube will
  7. I wonder if the album charts will count streaming as well, might be a bit more complicated to work what counts as an album stream I guess
  8. Only thing is Madonna isn't likely to be itunes only, so she may do a Beyonce as in release out on the blue but I bet it's also on amazon etc

Hank Marvin was number one on amazon pre-orders when I last looked yesterday
  10. Ahh makes sense all this, I bet though if apple have some kind of exclusive to it they put it on the beats streaming service as they now own that and quite frankly need subscribers, maybe beats will also come available elsewhere rather then just the US starting next week. As for who it is, my guess is someone like Rihanna
  11. Lana Del Rey- Ultraviolence, coming June 16th apparently https://twitter.com/LanaDelRey/status/466594541500645376

Gruff Rhys is holding up very well

As well as the albums mentioned I'll be looking out for Sarah McLachlan, Santana and Lykke Li
  14. Interesting, amazon have it available to buy http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meteorites-Echo-Bu...ymen+meteorites Maybe the label accidentally put it up on some sites
  15. Seems the new Echo And The Bunnymen album got a digital release today

Blur and Oasis both in the top 40 album charts
  17. When is the Kasabian single out, guessing as it's not in the itunes charts, it isn't as of yet, doesn't seem to be able available to pre-order

Loads of new enteries in the singles charts yet the Frozen songs still holding on, as things stand 2 going back up and one staying the same

I'm surprised The Vamps are holding up on the album charts
  20. Boy bands and boy band solo acts if there is such a thing seem to have a devoted fanbase but they are lacking mass appeal with the exception of 1d and that never used to be the case
  21. Does anyone know anything about the rules in the streaming charts, for examples if someone plays a song twenty times a week would that be equal to the streaming equivalent of twenty sales or does it just count as one
  22. Lana's new single is on spotify in the US now so very unlikely to be her. I doubt it's Kate Bush, she will very much appeal to amazon customers and would sell a lot of physical copies.
  23. Yes Waves is also getting radio 2 airplay (presuming radio 1 also has it on their playlist), that should really boost it sales, deft contender for number one
  24. Lana has pretty much announced when her new single is out and pretty much slipped that her album in May. So I am still thinking Rihanna, probably want new music to sing for her tour with Eminem

Surprised that Christina Perri's album is underperforming, she strikes me as an album artist rather then a singles artist but the singles seem to better then her albums, strange
