  1. Currently listening to Miley's album on my sonos, listened to Demi's yesterday. Managed to play the whole of the new Reverend And The Makers album on the spotify desktop player. Actually got a lot of albums i want to listen to- Shania, Michael Jackson, Hurts, Ella Fitzgerald, David Crosby, Wolf Alice, Chris Rea, Benhjamin Clementine etc
  2. Taylor just put out another song, let's see how that does compared to Look What You Made Me Do
  3. On the desktop if you look at the charts, it lists the daily plays
  4. Taylor number one with 626,628 plays. Dua Lipa at 2 has 506,173 plays
  5. I'm guessing Taylor broke the update, so more or less streams then Ed Sheeran- Shape Of You had on first day
  6. I hope Kim Petras's song becomes a big hit eventually, seems to be doing well globally
  7. "Sorry Not Sorry" really taking off now, wonder if Demi will eventually make the top ten
  8. There's an album by Jenny Duncan called Storm, it's all Selena Gomez song, with exactly the same amount of plays at the Selena tracks have got, now this must be to do with this fake artist news

Why is EDM so dominated by male artists- David Guetta, Calvin Harris etc, where are the female DJ', where are the female David Guetta and Calvin Harris's, EDM has to the most sexist genre in music right now

Its a bit depressing, especially when all the best artists are female as teen vogue put it the future of music is female, in a perfect world Lorde- Green Light, Julia Michaels- Issues, Selena Gomez- Bad Liar and Paramore- Hard Times would have all been number ones, much superior to this dull Ed Sheeran stuff etc
  11. Has the currently Carly Rae Jepson song done anything on iTunes, started to hear it on Radio 2
  12. Good to see Paramore taking off, might just be a big hit now
  13. I see spotify free going the way of amazon prime music
  14. Will be interesting if this starts striaght away, according to the email I get from Universal these are the next Univeresal albums to be released Michelle Branch - Hopeless Romantic Cold War Kids - LA Divine K. Flay - Every Where Is Some Where The New Pornographers - Whiteout Conditions Tech N9ne - Dominion
  15. Wonder how Mo will do, seems to have over 2000 plays already from the limited time it was avaliable last night
  16. Gorillaz and Kasabian releasing albums on the same day, that will be an interesting chart battle
  17. I wouldn't have a problem with someone dominating the chart's if it was someone I actually liked, Drake's not my cup of tea, and Ed Sheeran is just dull. I'd be quite happy if the 17 tracks on the new Conor Oberst album were all in the spotify top 50
  18. There are rumors going around that some I'm guessing new release albums could become premium only album, if that's true that could have some affect on both the spotify charts and the offical charts, what if Sheeran's new album hd been premium only

Train have had 4 top 40 hits and huge gaps between them, Drops of Jupiter in 2001, Hey Soul Sister in 2009, Drive By in 2012 and now Play That Song in 2017
  20. Ok so i'm a little confused by this, if someone plays the whole album that would count towards the album charts, but what if they only played half the album, I'm guessing if someone plays 3 or 4 tracks from the album then those plays would go towards the single charts, it's all a little bit confusing for me
  21. Wonder how the new Steps song will do on spotify
  22. Issues now up to 21, great to see that song doing so well
  23. I'm guessing spotify are combining all the different version of Shape Of You, by the amount of plays it had yesterday
  24. Wonder how the new Take That song will do on streaming, doing well on itunes, and I expect tomorrow Ed Sheeran will be 3,2, and 1
  25. The new Maroon 5 song came out today
