I wonder if Sony buying Ministry Of Sound will see a boost for any MOS tracks which quite often have struggled on spotify, but presumably they will now appear on Sony's playlists which will help them a lot I would think

Blossoms seem to be the only British act to really breakthrough so far this year on the album charts, I''ve noticed other new acts like Jack Garrett have had one week high in the album charts but then vanished from the charts. So it does seem acts are struggling but is it down to streaming? I don't know, apple music have a New Artist playlist, does Spotify have one dedicated to new artists?

The Stranger Things soundtrack is doing well, no physical copies avaliable as of yet which will affect it's sales, but hopefully will end up in top 20

Well technically you don't, you can download music to listen to offline, I do that all the time, usually takes me 30 seconds to download an apple music playlist
