Journalist on twitter No 10 says that lockdown restrictions remain in place So no sunbathing in parks over bank holiday weekend, despite suggestion this restriction will be eased next week. The communication strategy here has been as garbage as ever, Johnson says yesterday restrictions likely to be eased from Monday, press print what they are and that message moves away from Stay Home now he is saying nothing changes.

There are many people who have been moving around homes throughout this. I don’t think travelling Round the country is as difficult as you may think if people have a second home to go to that is either theirs or family.

You said he will announce the plan not lift restrictions. I was highlighting to you that he said restrictions are probably being lifted on Monday regardless of what they may be.

The testing target has been missed for the fourth day in a row. This is despite Johnson also announcing we will be doing 200,000 tests a day by the end of May.

He has said he hopes to ease some restrictions on Monday rather than just delivering the plan. I expect these to be work related easing for some sectors rather than anything that impacts individuals.

I assume you haven’t lived in Scotland before, Nicola Sturgeon is disliked by a large amount of the population and if Boris is giving a contradictory message there will be problems whether they have a brain or internet connection. The UK message should be delivered as one or we start doing it individually between each of the UK countries.

Is this not going to confuse everyone on Sunday then he is addressing the UK but Scotland are saying these rules don’t apply?

From PM question time: He also confirmed that he would be setting out plans to begin lifting the coronavirus lockdown on Sunday, adding that he hoped to "get going on some of these measures on Monday". Very conflicting to the message Sturgeon gave yesterday there would be no easing of anything until the end of May.

Did I say it was, my comment was in regards to Condebolas comment why don’t you read the thread properly before replying to something I say and taking it out of context.

Condebola was the one who posted about staying inside until a vaccine not me.
  13. Alex P posted a post in a topic in News and Politics
There will be no long term if the world stays inside for a year waiting for a vaccine that never comes.

And reports were made due to the swearing by one of the users thankfully I have a good enough vocabulary that I don’t have to swear at people.

You may be happy to sit at home for a year I assume you are financially secure as many would not be able to feed themselves if that was the case.

I think your posts have proved how childish you actually are so I have nothing more to say.

You can also edit your post but I have already quoted your original one that didn’t have the additional sentence and was just there to laugh at me so you have been exposed for all to see thankfully.

I was asking whether this strain that is going round now is a deadlier second strain. If the virus was in France from December then it may have became deadlier as it took until March for things to start getting very serious. Stop commenting on every single one of my posts trying to talk down to me and make me look stupid it is pathetic.

Very aggressive tone and extremely rude also reported.

That this is the first wave. You continue to try and be sarcastic and rude so I am reporting you now.

Thanks for letting us know on the friends and family part it is clear then that the UK is pretty strict on this point and it is a sensible idea what is being done in Germany. If the matter is not addressed at the next review people are going to be very angry. As I have noted I haven’t been able to have anyone in my flat since March and if they guidance is not addressed at the next update I will no longer be following the guidance as enough is enough now. I am from Scotland originally and Nicola Sturgeons guidance is still very unclear long term. She issued a paper two weeks ago which started talking about an exit strategy then has given no dates or clarity since other than now is not the time there is only so long you can continue to tell people this.

I’m not sure that can be taken as fact when no one knows.

You do hear of this happening up and down the country and it does put questions in my head such as if this is happening all over the UK and we aren’t actually locked down properly then why are the cases and hospitals not overwhelming and then brings in the question of does the lockdown need to be as strict as it is. I think the main restriction they need to review is the friends and family one given it is happening all over the country anyway whilst others are trying to stick to the rules and getting more angry by the day

France are now saying their coronavirus patient zero was in December. Does anyone believe this much mentioned second wave is what we’ve just been through and it was a deadlier version than the first wave in December.

If you look at the daily graphs the general population positives are heavily down and key workers in orange now make up the majority of the positive tests so I don’t think this is strictly true.
