Coronavirus Part III
I think this is exactly where the debate went round in circles last time and it does appear people in this thread like to rip apart anything people have said. The main argument to those who have said there is confusion is there is no reason why the government can’t give dates and stick to them rather than say ‘3 weeks’ when it’s never been 3 weeks. Many people believe there will be an update on Thursday. As time has gone on people are also watching and reading news less and less due to the constant doom and gloom. It is really not hard to understand that when the government don’t give Specific dates there will be confusion.

The X Factor: The Band
I think it would have been worthwhile getting a song out at any point in the past few months. A big promotional campaign isn’t really needed these days and they definitely needed something out there to keep them in the publics mind. Why their winning song wasn’t released is beyond me given it was quite good.

Coronavirus Part III
Agreed on this point, I commented on this a few pages back and was laughed at for questioning that people would not understand this blatant lack of communication. Most people I know think the review announcement is on Thursday. Would someone who doesn’t read online forums or news even know it has been moved to Sunday

Coronavirus Part III
Many people have stopped watching the news given how toxic it is.

Coronavirus Part III
Are you actually telling me October or November would be a best case scenario for seeing friends and family surely you have got to be joking.

Coronavirus Part III
I think people are starting to see family and friends again now regardless everyone has had enough and has stopped buying in to the hysteria and manipulation.

Coronavirus Part III
I did read the point on the over 70’s today and couldn’t believe it. They continue to lie and lie and people think they have done a good job every action they have taken has been shocking. It does seem like the country as a whole are willing to ignore it though by standing outside clapping like cult members every Thursday.

Coronavirus Part III
Agreed I had made this point earlier in the thread. It is complete underhandedness and straight up lies from the government by Sunday we will have been in lockdown for 7 weeks which is covered by two 3 week lockdowns. The lack of honesty and delays is despicable

The X Factor: The Band
Yeah agreed she wrote good songs. I guess they are all young enough to stick together and do something when this is all over

Coronavirus Part III
I think they were due to finish on 24 June, agreed I can’t see any Scottish school going back such a shame for P7 and sixth year kids to miss their proms and leavers events.

The X Factor: The Band
What even happened to the girl band? I actually thought their winning song was pretty good and they didn’t even release it.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 14
Nora will be lucky to go outside in 2020 so I don’t expect to see her appear if the semi finals go ahead.

Coronavirus Part III
They have tested 4.1million which is at a minimum double every country other than the US, their deaths are also very low. I think they have mass testing underway so they actually seem to be doing a good job.

Coronavirus Part III
That makes more sense. The majority of young people will either show no symptoms or never be bad enough to go to hospital and get a test. So therefore this app is going to be mainly useful for the older people who do end up in hospital and get tested and that age group will be the ones you will have problems with downloading the app. Sounds like a bit of a non starter unless they introduce mass testing for everyone with the slightest symptoms.
-
Coronavirus Part III
I am not clear how the app works in practise either. Surely in a city like London you may continually pass people who have the virus are you then meant to spend the rest of your days in self isolation if you end up never showing symptoms and therefore can’t get tested. How does that then impact someone’s job that can’t work from home if they are constantly in self isolation. How do they enforce it also, if someone has been in back to back isolations then they will just stop taking their phone out with them to risk is happening for a third time.

Coronavirus Part III
I am quite surprised the case numbers have been so static they were 8,000 peak one day and have mostly been in the 4,000 range since. With the mass increase in testing it can only be a good sign.

Coronavirus Part III
I agree they need to be back up and running but I do think they need to come in conjunction with relaxation of other restrictions.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 1st May 2020
Yeah that is quite shocking actually. The song is also terrible and rips off the Nightcrawlers something which has been done so many times already.

Coronavirus Part III
I agree with you on this point, we can have zero contact with family and friends but football is allowed to go ahead it is shameful and breaches our human rights.

Whilst it is a good thing money is being raised it doesn’t mean that all of the charity singles released have not been garbage.

Coronavirus Part III
Hopefully we have more information next week but it is disgraceful that 6 full weeks into a lockdown we have had no information. If we have restrictions that state you can’t see family and friends until 10th August like Ireland then there is zero chance I am following that. I am not spending the next 13 weeks with no human contact.
