  1. Facebook has momentum!
  2. Luckily for City, our record against you is far better than against them recently.
  3. By your own admission you've not done any campaigning, you absolute moron.
  4. So nothing then.
  5. This whole thread should be set on fire, but this comment in particular did give me a chuckle. Let me know when you've done a fraction of what I've done to get a Labour government elected. I won't wait.

What they've achieved so far has been really impressive. However, I think there's several question marks over them next season. Playing at Wembley for every home game is going to take some getting used to - in both the last two seasons they've surged after Christmas following a slow start, and may have to again. If they let Chelsea or a strengthened City take a large lead over them again, they might have to wait longer for a league title. They're also going into the summer transfer window with a lot of interest in their best players, in a way that didn't really happen last year. A lot will depend on whether they can hold onto the likes of Walker, Rose and Dier (assuming that Kane and Alli will definitely stay for now at least). They also need to bring in more quality rotation options if they want to be competitive in Europe - Wanyama is the only one this season who has slotted straight into the team.
  7. Not gonna happen.

We do seem to be trending towards the high rather than the mid 20s, which may be the difference between a thrashing and a complete wipe out.
  9. It might have been Goldsmith had he not already been booted out in the by-election. A second go around wouldn't go amiss.
  10. Honestly no idea.
  11. Could you actually engage with the discussion? Thanks.
  12. The three games between Arsenal, Spurs and United are absolutely crucial. City SHOULD be safe for 3rd now they've had the last of their really tricky games and their record against the rest is from memory more reliable than any of the teams they're competing with. Other than that I can't call it, except that Arsenal probably need four points from their two big games (preferably with the point coming against Spurs).
  13. Not a chance.
  14. I don't really get why Wenger hasn't used Perez more. The only upside to Zaza was that he was a loan signing, so ended up being a lot less expensive that some of those others. Still awful though.
  15. There is the alarming possibility that we could lose the mayoral election in Tees Valley, which would be embarrassing beyond belief.
  16. If she tries to scrap the devolution deals, shit will majorly kick off. (it also brings my idea of declaring Andy Burnham the king in the north at step closer, but there you go)
  17. Incredibly so, even I have to laugh sometimes. It usually requires more wit than "lol you're not as good as Man United".
  18. Laughing at the misfortune of others is one of the ways to enjoy what has by all accounts been a miserable season. I'm sure United fans were able to laugh when Liverpool failed to win the league in 2014, despite finishing 7th yourselves. I find United particularly amusing because you deluded yourselves into thinking that you had it in you for a title challenge this season, and spent the money to match.
  19. Well fuck
  20. #WengerIn
  21. You may as well wonder what would have happened if half of those draws had been defeats (other than an even more laughable home record)

    Where?!
  23. It shows how far United have fallen that they're reduced to the role of potential kingmakers in the title chase. Will be interesting to see if they're still in the top 4 race after the Manchester derby.

Someone's suggestion of 60% being binding and over 50% being advisory for the legislature to examine seems like a fair compromise. This is bad news, obviously.
  25. They were down since Allardyce left. I wonder what he might have been able to do with them if he'd had 2-3 years in charge. Moyes wouldn't be a disaster in the Championship. I assume they'll stick with him just to ensure they don't start properly tumbling.
