Then what was this all about? KUDjRZ30SNo He should have resigned for the good of his party long before the election.

Barclays Premier League
I thought only one of the three was a penalty, but it was the grappling by Ivanovic on Van Dijk. Mané went down far too easily, he had no momentum at all. Falcao got taken out by the keeper but was already stumbling and was taking the ball out of play, so neither penalty nor dive for me.

Rugby World Cup 2015
We bottled the Wales game, so I never had much confidence against a far better Australia team. I'd appreciate it if France actually started turning up, otherwise I'm supporting Ireland.

Clegg should have realised he'd cocked up slightly before May 2015.

Hold on, where have you got the idea from that any Labour member on here "blindly follows the whip"?!

If Khan loses, Corbyn won't survive next summer. I don't think he will though.

You act as if actively backing a party is something to be ashamed of.

Claim credit for it? No. Point out that he voted for it? Absolutely.

Corbyn, that well known Iraq War supporter.

Champions League 2015/16
City came back really well from going behind. Just about deserved it in the end.

Except that Labour is a far broader church than the Lib Dems could ever be, so the distancing (especially given his voting record) is a lot more credible.

Champions League 2015/16
City, United and Chelsea will still probably all go through but I doubt any will win their group now.

New Labour's failures on housing pale in comparison given that the Tories have since pushed house completions to a postwar low despite tilting the rules in favour of development AND declaring war on planners. Incompetence doesn't even begin to cover it, at least the Barker Review actually tried.

Barclays Premier League
People were daft to call it a one-horse race in the first place. As we've seen so far, losing De Gea or Kompany for longer than a few games would really undermine either club. Long way to go yet.

2016 US Election.
Trump would do Clinton's turnout job for her.

Rugby World Cup 2015
Not if Fiji beat Wales again. We gifted them it tonight.

Rodgers' main problem is that he seems completely deluded. Lost in his own navel. A point wasn't the best result today for West Ham but I'd have taken it with five minutes to go. The players looked out on their feet, good job we'e got a bit of squad depth now.

2016 US Election.
He still looks like their best bet.

OPINION POLLS 2017
The middle class voters - culturally at least - are still the ones in those Midlands seats. They might be going backwards, but they still don't feel like Labour is the party for them (witness how we've done so badly in Derbyshire). Those Labour-friendly voters moving into the SE aren't automatically middle class just because house prices are high around them. If they're young that often puts them in a worse position.

2016 US Election.
I'm assuming that Bush will just about pull through, I'm still slightly worried about Trump though. He wouldn't win against Clinton or Biden but Sanders-Trump would be all kinds of uneasy.

OPINION POLLS 2017
On the last point, the complacency comes from the fact that we weren't expected to lose any non-Scottish seats except a couple of ultra-marginals. It wasn't helped by the fact that Lancashire and West Yorkshire were both loaded with target seats so resources had plenty of other places to go.

OPINION POLLS 2017
Yeah definitely, I'm guessing they were in Elmet & Rothwell and Dewsbury most of the time though.
-
OPINION POLLS 2017
I was campaigning in Hallam for two years and I never met anyone from Morley and Outwood. Most of Yorkshire were discouraged from coming because until very near polling day it was seen as unwinnable. We ended up coming far closer than in many target seats.

David Cameron PUTS HIS JUNK IN A DEAD PIG'S MOUTH
Not to mention the fact that he thought himself above the law enough to host drug parties.
