  1. I've got all the number 1s from 1952 to 2005 as MP3s stored on 1 DVD .I collected all the Elvis CDs from 2005 and have a large majority of number 1s on either Albums,7" singles ,10" Singles 12" singles or CDs. I started collecting them in 1973 (Blockbuster by Sweet).

I didn't know this.I guess the chart I posted is a few weeks old.Had she been number 1 but has now fallen?

You may not understand or appreciate this but Connie does something that is really great, and that is cheer people up and make them smile. It is a fact that she is loved by millions of people all over the world .She has a very mature voice for a 7 year old.Performing in front of any sized audience she has no problem in keeping in time, singing the right words and reaching the right notes of every song she sings. If you think there is something wrong with me taking an interest in someone my family absolutely adore then I think that that is disturbing.Only time will tell if her life is ruined by all this media attention.Maybe its a good thing that her profile in the UK is kept low key so that she can live as normal a life as possible whilst at home. Her parents have said in interviews that as long as she is still happy about doing all of this then they will support her all the way.

I know newspapers distort things but I don't think this newspaper which is read by a large population of the West Midlands, would make this all up if it wasn't true .

Thank You, I know newspapers distort things but I don't think this newspaper (read by a large population of the West Midands) would make this all up if it wasn't true . I believe that USA are crying out for a visit & I bet she will be over there during the 6 weeks holidays.

I know you are biased in your way of thinking but take a look at this link I can't speak Korean but it looks as if the album has been number one in several charts over there . What do you make of it ? http://connietalbot.proboards102.com/index...&thread=241

At last, finally, there is someone on this forum that likes her music.I think Bob Marley would have been quite chuffed about her version of Three Little Birds.

She is not a minor artist globally.Look at the messages on the forums on her website or comments on the 100s of You Tube videos. She is loved by millions of people out there , including my family. Out of curiosity we look at what she is up to . PS I am not a publicist . My daughter knows her , she lives local to us. I did not intend this to be a slanging match .

If she wasnt popular in Korea then why are there 100s of flashes going off as soon as she arrived at the airport ? Have a look on You Tube & watch the videos and read the comments. So big oops to you.

Another fact on Connie Talbot ...According to Vidmeter she has 27th most watched online video in the world with nearly 42 million hits.Ironically the video has been removed but still gains thousands more hits every day.

I have a correction to make , Connie is in Poland & not Japan at the moment . What a life she's having !!! I would imagine that it was more likely that it was Connie who pressured her parents to let her do the things she is enjoying than the other way round.

Yes,it has all gone a bit out of hand . I was only asking a simple question . My family love her to bits , especially my daughter who recently met her .

It was around Christmas time when sales are high.Initially, 50,000 copies of the album were pressed, but an additional 120,000 had to be made after the album sold out in days.

That's your opinion and obviously not most of the FarEast's opinion at the moment. Do you feel good now that you have typed a swear word on your PC & made yourself look silly ?

Personally , I don't think it will be a hit over here .Apart from GMTV last Friday there doesn't seem to be any other promotion in the UK.

They are not pushing her , she loves singing & making people happy. Good luck to them if a lot of money is made from her talent.

She's loving every minute of it .Her parents would stop it all if it became too much for her. The re-released version of "Over the Rainbow" went GOLD in Hong Kong and Taiwan. It was just released a short few days ago. All this after the original release went GOLD in the UK a few months ago. We are witnessing the early days of what will surely be a megastar. Connie Talbot is in a class all her own

No need to swear , matey !!! It might be a hit , she performed it on GMTV on Friday which has loads of viewers. I wouldnt call 9th June too far in advance , its only a week away.

Have a look on You Tube. She has been to Singapore,Taiwan,Korea & Hong Kong during April following a massive demand. She has appeared on loads of TV shows over there. She knocked Madonna & Mariah Carey off number 1 in their charts & is currently in Japan on another series of promotions. Her video was filmed in Jamaica in February.

On 9th June 7 year old Britains Got Talent 2007 runner up Connie Talbot releases Bob Marley's Three Little Birds . She is going down a storm in the Far East at the moment thanks to You Tube & has already received 4 gold discs for the first album. Will the single do well over here ?
  25. If George Sampson appears on GMTV this week (bound to) & they mention that Singing in the rain is back in the charts then sales will pick up momentum.
