  2. They've still got a chance of beating Westlife to most number one singles if they keep churning out good new songs. The Beatles medley is on the DVD . I saw them twice live this year. Both shows were absolutely amazing.

He was a fantastic presenter. I can remember him doing Pick of The Pops on Sundays & then Tom Browne took over around 1972. His signature tune will always remind me of him .

Take That are going to be really chuffed about how well the single has done so far on downloads alone.
  6. Out of all of them Fox On The Run was my favourite.

Hopefully Take That will do a Gnarls Barkley & be number 1 on downloads alone by Sunday. Patience is a great comeback single.. There's enough interest on their website alone to do this.

Twist & Shout by the Beatles was a great cover version. My Way by Frank Sinatra was too.

Well I say good luck to the lads. Judging by the number of fans waiting hours in the rain on Wednesday for the signings at HMV at the Fort Retail Park in Birmingham they'll be around for a long while yet. Fans slept outside the shop overnight in order to get the wristbands which were handed out from 9am. By midday all 1200 of them were gone . They did the signings at 4pm.

My favourite music of all time is glam rock as it takes me back to my junior school days. In my opinion the best music came from 1972-1975 . The Sweet were a very underated group & were brilliant live. T Rex made some good tunes earlier on but towards the end kept on repeating the formula of their songs.

Welcome to the monkey house by Animal Magnet Kiss Me (original version) by Stephen Tintin Duffy Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison These are all good cheesy party songs but never made the top 40
  17. Brilliant documentary - Im glad I taped it I didnt realize how good Rapture was until last night. My bedroom wall was covered in Debbie Harry posters in late 70s early 80s. My first ever concert was to see Blondie in 1980 . Its a shame the music went a bit naff towards the end in 1982 due to the drugs but they came back with Maria, a classic Blondie record in 1999.
  18. I think mine was Wigwam Bam by Sweet back in 1972
  19. All about Eve doing Marthas Harbour was so funny. They couldnt hear the track being played so just sat there for 3/4 of the song . Suddenly they could hear it and everybody started to cheer.
  20. I remember watching it when Don MacLean ,Peter Glaze & Ed Stewart presented it back in the 70s.

  25. My parents music era was during the birth of Rock & Roll in the 50s ,when they were teenagers . Thats when the word teenager was invented. I love to hear stuff from that period from time to time.
