Friday Chart Predictions
Glad Harry is continuing his consecutive run in the top-ten with the glorious Fine Line. Levitating has hung on! Also a new peak for Hallucinate (I cant see it getting higher but it could with extra streams when the remix album of Future Nostalgia comes out next Friday). WAP is looking good for number one! Great sales!

Friday Chart Predictions
Some chart facts I just thought of: If WAP does get to number one next week it will by the second female collaboration to hit the summit of the year- the previous one being Rain On Me. The summit has not only been dominated by men ever since Rain On Me hit the top spot, but they have also been occupied my male collaborations (Jason Derulo & Jawsh, DaBaby & Roddy Rich, and Joel Corry & MNEK). We haven’t had a solo number one single since Drake’s Toosie Slide back in May.

The reasons do add up my friend... Although Clean Bandit produced 5 top-five hits, my opinion is based on the latter two singles released from the album- Baby featuring Marina wasn't that big of a success and Mama featuring Ellie Goulding completely flopped. I re-iterate that Mabel is not enough of a big name to secure them a number-one debut like Everton suggests. They might debut in the top-ten but I highly doubt they would debut at number one. If the feature was with Stormzy or Dua Lipa, for example, then I would agree that the track would be a contender for number one!

I very much doubt it! Clean Bandit aren't the huge force they used to be and plus this collab (which you can hear a snippet of on TikTok) is with Mabel- an artist that doesn't scream HUGE!

I agree that they have had incredible success and longevity for a girl group- which notoriously don’t-but I can’t see them sustaining that longevity passed this era or the next.

I don’t understand why I need a reality check? All I said was that Little Mix’s success dwindling single by single, and that they will likely disband after this album or the next. Ok basing this on stats of how well they are doing!

Friday Chart Predictions
You’re missing my point here completely. #14 is respectable but it’s is clear as day that Little Mix are no longer the force they used to be, and will likely disband after this album or the next.

Women Like Me was released in the streaming era...

Well metrically it isn’t doing well compared to what they have released before. Please don’t tell me I need a reality check- it’s rude.

Their last album didn’t sell well at all (please don’t justify its underperformance on the label mess). Break Up Song had some longevity, but for a lead single didn’t perform as well as Women Like Me or Shout Out To My Ex. Holiday is a derivative track which sounds like Maroon 5’s What Lovers Do, and metrically isn’t doing that well. So based on all of the above, I can’t see the band having any longevity. I think they’ll call it a day after this album or the next. As for their tour sales (which have declined) and their TV show The Search (which could do well), I don’t see them bolstering their success on the music front at least. I like them as a band but surely it has to be recognised that their success is dwindling single by single...

Why? Midnight Sky is miles better than the derivative Holiday. Little Mix are on their way out as a band now- this could be their last era.

Taylor looking good for a sophomore position then! Glad Miley is holding on given that it has no support on streaming!
-
Friday Chart Predictions
I think it would- they could at least try that considering it was/is close to the top spot. The same goes for Fine Line; his team could have slashed the price to £4.99 during those weeks when albums sales were <10k...

Another week without Watermelon Sugar being reduced to 59p- his UK team baffle me!

lol imagine thinking Madonna is still relevant in 2020- surprised Dua wanted her on the levitating remix! Then again, this whole remix album does scream "fan girl" Dua as she gets to collaborate with 90's artists like Missy Elliot and Gwen.

Miley close to claiming the top spot, and deservedly so!

But you didn't originally? You weren't even part of the discourse lol Mango putting their two cents in once again. Boring.

You can't dismiss Drake's recent discography; 2018's Nice For What is truly a great track and I also like Too Good featuring Rihanna. I guess Drake hasn't been on top form lately, but he has made a handful of gems.

The levitating remix isn’t exactly radio-friendly anyway so when the impact date comes around I reckon they’ll add the original instead. Fantastic for MILEY! Sounds like a huge hit incoming ... Seems I was right about Jason’s Savage Love; they kept it on the B-List for as long as possible then chucked it off when they wanted to! Good! I reckon Drake will be insta-added to the A-List next week, although the song doesn’t sound that great on first listen :/

Great debut for Cardi B although I had hoped Harry would have climbed to 3 :/ Also who would have thought Jason Derulo would score two top-forty singles in 2020 (with one of them being a number one of course). Yay at Taylor securing a third week at number one with Folklore- could it manage a fourth week?

I'm pretty sure Harry was close to reaching the upper echelons of the Billboard Hot 100 without the cassette etc release anyway.
