Any thoughts on how Cardigan will do (of any of the album tracks from Folklore for that matter)? Apparently the album is not commercial sounding so will be interesting to see how it and it’s tracks do... (source:ATRL)

This is a forum where we’re entitled to opinions... in hindsight maybe I should have worded it better but I’m surprised Kylie is even challenging for a number one on iTunes when I would have guessed an artist of her calibre is meant to be on a downward trajectory. People need to stop obsessing over artists- Kylie doesn’t know any of us. Chill.

New Taylor Swift album, Folklore, is out tomorrow (July 24th). The lead single from it is Cardigan and it will be released alongside a music video. This could do huge numbers and contest for number one next week...

Kylie is quite brave to be releasing in November. She is more than likely going to overshadowed by other expected BIG releases.

Not really. Based on the artists names alone (their collective streaming power is HUGE) plus the snippet of the chorus that I have heard, I definitely think this could be a massive number one.

Joel has gained by 40% since yesterday Jason has gained by 35% since yesterday If they both carry on like this, ceteris paribus, Joel (and MNEK) should be getting their first UK number one! According to the above percentages, Joel should have sold around 41k in Wednesday’s update and Jason should have sold 41k too. Fridays totals will be interesting but it should be something like this: Singles 1 Joel Corry feat. MNEK - Head & Heart (57.5k) 2 Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo - Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat) (55k)

So Joel Corry & MNEK’s Head and Heart is up by 8.4k while Jason Derulo & Jawsh’s Savage Love is up by 7.9k from yesterday. Joel could take it but either way it will be close.

In my opinion it is 100% confirmed because the song has been number one for three weeks now and is still being kept on the B-List. So I don’t think any other factor will push it up to the A-List. Try and analyse.

Happy Joel has been accelerated to the A-List; it’s without doubt going to hit number one soon! Great adds for: Dua Lipa- Hallucinate Calvin Harris- Love Without Your Love I think it’s 100% confirmed that Radio 1 will not be advancing Jason Derulo to the A-List at all.
