  1. Of course the second line-up and I'm not surprised they are so far ahead in the poll.

I want those days back when Keisha, Heidi and Mutya were on top of things. They had a great spark together. The first line-up also had something special but they don't have the long string of memorable hits with them.

  2. It freaked me out at first too (I love a bit of 80s disco). But it does seem a really lazy way of making beats (212 literally being her over an instrumental dance track too).

Yeah, and I actually prefer the instrumental track of 212 :(

  3. My votes :

12 points : Parachute Youth - Can't Get Better Than This

    06 points : Linnea Olsson - Dinosaur

03 points : Electric Guest - This Head I Hold

    02 points : Pikachunes - Castle on a Cloud

My 12 pointer not making it through :(? I am gutted (although probably not as gutted as Terra Avium himself :P))

  4. Hey everyone. I think you all know how it works by now but please try to participate in my round of Nevermind the Buzzjacks if you can.

You'll have to PM me with your answers for these 20 instrumentals with the name of the artist (+ featuring artist) and song.

The deadline is this Monday, May 14 at 6 pm.

    Here's are they :

  5. How can the ballads on Loose have ruined the album? True, most of them didn't fit in with the Timbaland tracks, but I wouldn't say they were completely out of place. Say It Right and All Good Things were big hits across the globe, so they were good choices I'd say. I think she stayed true to her musical roots by a track like All Good Things and even In God's Hands. A few of the ballads were the highlights from Loose for me.

I wouldn't really call Say It Right a ballad (at least it really fits in) and All Good Things is good as a closer, I just think that In God's Hands, Show Time and Te Busqué (as great as that one is) kind of ruin the album's momentum. It just doesn't really go with the club tracks, and I really like cohesive albums.

  6. I'd say Nas is a pretty big name! I think his album Illmatic is pretty well known.

Would've liked to see more colabs with rappers but oh well.

A song named Bucket List? Hah!

Please no ballads on this one Nelly, don't need that from you. They kind of ruined Loose. I know Try was beautiful and possibly my favorite Nelly song but ballads just don't go on an album that has upbeats like Big Hoops.

  7. I knew it would be Emmylou entered for First Aid Kit when I heard they were being used, shame - The Lion's Roar is a heck of a lot better.

Hell naw. I prefer Emmylou by a long shot :P It's basically a homage to the Queen of Country Music!

How did you know they were being used? Did you try to submit The Lion's Roar?
