  1. I don't think you're wrong tbh. I can't see this being big.
  2. Can't believe I'm saying this but I love the video and the song. Didn't expect something this good :o
  3. 01. Rihanna - Work Feat. Drake 02. Beyoncé - Formation 03. Britney Spears - Make Me Feat. G-Eazy 04. Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman 05. Katy Perry - Chained to the Rhythm 06. Lady Gaga - Perfect Illusion The first four are really good, the other two are pretty bad.
  4. This is surprisingly faceless. I don't think I like it.

22 Drunk In Love +1 00 XO -2 Love how DIL survived the last few pages of haters.
  6. omg the video is so funny. she looks so emotionless and mentally absent, she must be on some kind of medicine. I really think she has big issues. tbh I really like the song. But then I also still love 'Triumphant' when nobody else does.
  7. I wanna vote for SWM as it's my favorite but I think 'Cry' would be the best choice here.

Because we're all hoping she flops.

This is actually true. It's devastating. It's a redundant bonus track; part II of an already awful song. On top of that it's placed on the album AFTER the perfect closer. WHO DOES THAT AND WHY? One of the worst songs in her discography for sure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (sorry for all this tea).

04 S&M +1 00 Love The Way You Lie Pt.2 (feat. Eminem) -2 I normally don't play these but I couldn't let the worst song on the album win.
  11. Dutch radio is playing this song! Praise the lord. It took them long enough but it seems like they have finally forgiven Rihanna for inflicting urban songs on them last year. (OK so far only one station is playing but I hope the others are not too far behind).

My favorite one was the upload on Twitter where she is playing soccer in a dirt field with beautiful kids in Malawi (referring to Azealia saying Rih used to play soccer in a dirt field with a coconut).
  13. I'm revisiting her singles discography now. 'Respect M.E.' is one of my favorite compilation albums.
  14. Her visuals are always amazing. The song feels a bit accommodated to the current scene too much but I still have it on repeat :music:.
  15. It's so hard to rank these. 'Long Hot Summer' is so breezy and fun. Used to be my GA favorite for a long time, but not sure if it still is. These days I have grown an incredibly soft spot for 'See the Day'. 'Biology' is really good but unlike with most people it's never been among my GA favorites. It's still really close to LHS and STD though. 'Whole Lotta History' used to be one of my favorites too but it has fallen down quite a bit. Long Hot Summer See the Day Biology Whole Lotta History Again, I think this is a stronger singles run than the run from their second album. Maybe I'd even rank all of these above all the singles from 'What Will the Neighbours Say?'.
  16. The album is 1 year old today! Can't believe we finally got the album a year ago today. It's definitely her best album. I really hope we will get a new album this year, preferably around June/July. But before that I hope we get a LOTB grammy performance and a LOTB video. I know I'm praying for too many things; after all we're talking about Rihanna, the queen of self-sabotage.
  17. 'Sex with Me' *.*
  18. Filled it in. It was pretty easy to rank them for me as well.
  19. 01. Sound of the Underground 02. Long Hot Summer 03. Sexy! No No No... 04. Something Kinda Ooooh 05. The Show 06. The Promise 07. Something New Only by the fans it seems. To me it sounds like a song that's desperately trying to be a GA song with the unusual structure and all, but it ultimately fails to be interesting because they had already done it before and much better. At the same time the production is just a tad too ''generic'' making it very unlike GA. Unfortunately I think all the new songs on 'Ten' suffered from this.
  20. This really needs a video to push it a bit more in Europe. I'm secretly hoping they're planning a Grammy performance + a video release and iTunes discount that same night. Also Spotify playlist adds would help as its Spotify position is holding it back. None of this will happen but a girl can dream.

I agrih with Cremey, it's definitely her best album. + it got me back into Santigold (because 'Anti' reminds me so much of something she would do) which is a big plus as well. The only thing I'm still very pressed about is that she didn't record 'Cheap Thrills' and just tack it on (one day I'll get over it hopefully).
  22. Not as strong as the singles run from their first album. In fact, I'd rank all of the songs below my least favorite ('Life Got Cold') from SOTU. Again, it's the cover that's a clear dead last for me. 01. Wake Me Up 02. The Show 03. Love Machine (Jump) 04. I'll Stand By You.
  23. Not 'I'm Falling' being the last track in 8 of the 13 ranks  (not including my own). I almost ranked it first.
  24. 01. Crocodile Tears 02. I'm Falling 03. Damn 04. Control of the Knife 05. Fling 06. Black Jacks 07. Sexy! No No No... 08. Girl Overboard 09. Can't Speak French 10. Call the Shots 11. Close to You 12. What You Crying For 1. Love this ballad. Sarah's verse near the last chorus is amazing as is the humming just before that. 2. The synths on this song are amazing. Such an interesting and risky song, especially for a girl group. 3. 'Damn' is just so catchy with its double chorus. Pretty sure it ranks so highly because Nadine is very prominent on this song and let's face it her voice >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the others. 4. Again very catchy, the trumpet and the first verse are the highlights. 5. I used to hate this song because it was so aggressive but it grew on me a lot. The chorus may be a bit repetitive but that's part of what makes it so great. 6. Again, Nadine steals the show. The first verse is solely hers and is definitely the highlight of the song. I'm not a fan of the chanting on the second verse. 7. Risky first single and not sure it paid off in the end but again very well done. Again it's Nadine with her ''I can't deny the way my d-d-dirty mind, etc.'' who wins it for me. 8. Used to always be one of my favorites but it gets bumped down for being a bit too repetitive and a bit too ''generic'' (sorry for the use of this word). I still really like it but don't play it as much. 9. Never understood why this was a single but I still like it for how sensual and sulky it is. 10. Another good song and successful single but not one of my GA favorites. I also think it's a wrong song to open the album with (should've been 'Sexy!'). 11. Lovely song but once you've heard Nadine's verse which ends 0:47 seconds in you've heard everything you need to hear. 12. Definitely the weakest song on the album. Not a weak song by any means but I can live without it. In 2007 this was one of my highlights though so it goes to show how much can change. I never realized I was such a Nadine loon to be honest... Yes! I always prefer the Sugababes to GA (and still do) but this album is pure pop perfection.
  25. I really think 'Love on the Brain' should've been the lead single, at least in Europe. It's more of an album seller than 'Work' and I believe it's commercially more viable to release a radio friendly song first and then a streaming friendly song*. Of course this is speculation but I really think it would've helped to release LOTB first. Not that Anti hasn't performed very well in Europe regardless (except the UK). *I think so because radio friendly first singles like 'Love on the Brain' would've have got a streaming boost for being ''the big, new single'' that it's not getting now as a fourth. Also, I noticed that radio is hesitant to play LOTB, at least here in the Netherlands, most likely because she alienated us by releasing urban singles from Anti first (and I believe this is true for the whole of Europe). On the other hand I think 'Work' would've performed poorly on radio and very well on streaming regardless of when it was released.
