  1. Wrong choice for the lead single (should've been the second single imo) but I still really like it. I love slurring along with it.
  2. Not people always mentioning AGLM and MOTS as her worst album and then not even nominate any of those songs, except a single. Raining Men [worst] Right Now We Ride
  3. It's pretty clear for me that 'Jump' is the worst of the four but the other 3 are really, really, really good. Nadine is really killing it on 'Sound of the Underground' and 'No Good Advice'. 1. No Good Advice 2. Sound of the Underground 3. Life Got Cold 4. Jump
  4. I have no issues with 'Don't Wanna Know', although I don't particularly like it either, but then I never really cared about Maroon 5 so I don't care if they ''sold out''. A collab with Future is interesting. Looking forward to it.
  5. I liked her debut album, this song won't have me clicking repeat though unfortunately. Shame she faded so quickly.

I agree with this, the lyrics are off-putting and not good. 'Tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass' is a personal favorite of mine for how cringeworthy it is. How quasi-deep :puke2: I feel like I'm going back to disliking Ed like I did during his first era.
  7. I don't think it suits Rihanna. Glad he kept it. Besides Riri is so busy rejecting tracks lately it seems like she no longer wants other people writing for her.

Reading what he said about it, I don't think he actually sent it to Rih in the end so we can excuse her ass. But tbh I hate Rih for letting so many smashes get away from her in the past years. 'Timber' (This one I'm OK with as it's awful), 'Lean On', 'Cheap Thrills' (the one I'm most pissed about as I think it fits perfectly fine on ANTI and would've been her 15th US #1) and now possibly this? That bitch. Although can you really picture Rihanna singing the lyrics of 'Shape of You'? It sounds nothing like what she would be singing about. I wonder why he wrote this with her in mind?

I don't like 'Shape of You'. Maybe it will grow. I hate the chanting after the chorus, which sound too much like 'Speeding Cars' by Walking on Cars. It also annoys me in the lyric video that the girl is holding the same phone as the boy lol, with the text balloons on the wrong side. 'Castle on the Hill' is definitely preferable for me at the first listen although it doesn't set me alight either.
  10. I love the chorus on this. I wish it was a teeny bit longer.
  11. Let's rank the album, yes? Yes. FOR THE MOMENT it's this. Woo Consideration Never Ending Close to You Desperado Yeah, I Said It Kiss It Better Love on the Brain Needed Me Work Higher Same Old Mistakes James Joint The singles are all pretty low right now 'cause I'm rediscovering the album tracks. ZERO regrets at putting SOM so low. I like it but it feels so unimaginative considering it's a literal cover with no twist, + it could have been a minute shorter as the middle 8 of the song is the highlight and now I have to deal with 2 minutes of dragging.
  12. hi 'woo' is now Rih's best song. bye

Congrats! Flawless taste so must be a good addition.
  14. I need to know if this is true. I mean, she always seemed to be the one who wasn't interested, not the other way around? Unfollowing J.Lo is not a good sign though .
  15. I have so little interest left in MKS / Sugababes that I don't even care to listen to the new (/old) leaked tracks :(

Same here! Didn't like his first album at all (actively hated him at that time, in fact), but 'I See Fire', 'Don't', 'Sing' and 'Thinking Out Loud' were good singles and there were some great album tracks on 'X' ('Afire Love' and 'Runaway' being my favorites).
  17. I love 'Greedy' but hennies the public won't be there for it. 'Everyday' is the right choice.

Among Rihanna fans: 'Music of the Sun' definitely.
  19. I was about to post the same thing .
  20. I can't believe these two made it to the final anyway. I mean Rih doesn't care about them anymore so why should we.

  22. Stay Diamonds Love on the Brain Close to You
  23. I love it but ultimately I feel it's too long and not single material. They should've ended it around the 3:40 mark.

My album rank right now (excluding the interlude 'cause I find it hard to place it on the list). 'Secrets' was one of my favorites in the beginning but the instrumental doesn't really do it for me. Still, it would be a really good single choice. 01. Six Feet Under 02. False Alarm 03. Nothing without You 04. Rockin’ 05. A Lonely Night 06. Sidewalks 07. Starboy 08. Party Monster 09. Love to Lay 10. All I Know 11. I Feel It Coming 12. Reminder 13. Die for You 14. Secrets 15. Ordinary Life 16. True Colors 17. Attention There's enough material on here to stretch out a long album campaign. I think that after 'I Feel It Coming' he should release a song that is not an obvious smash but will still keep interest like 'A Lonely Night' or 'Sidewalks' and then release 'Rockin'' and 'Secrets' later on in the campaign.
  25. I know I keep going on about it but the ANTI era could've been so much bigger in Europe if she had just recorded 'Cheap Thrills' and had released it over the Summer. I'm 95% certain radios would have absolutely no problem picking LOTB up following such a huge hit. Maybe it can still happen though once the video drops or the song smashes in US. LOTB already hit #1 in Poland (which is based on airplay only). Dutch radio played it only once and that was a remix in the middle of the night... It's so frustrating because this song has the potential to be one of her career defining songs. I'm starting to think she should've released this as the lead.
