'Roc Me Out' and 'Drunk on Love' are my favorite Rih albums tracks out of all her album tracks. I think 'Roc Me Out' would've done well as a single, but on the other hand it might've been too similar to 'Rude Boy'. So yeah, I voted for those two. 'Watch 'n Learn' is also great. 'Cockiness' was a single?

I REALIZE I'M OVERREACTING BUT I JUST CARE OK

'Needed Me' is not an international hit single. Yes it's slaying in the US, it was actually top 10 for over 3 months (14 weeks so far), but elsewhere its success is very limited. I just think she should move on to the next as ANTI feels pretty much done with. (I'd be more than happy to eat my words of course if LOTB slays). I feel like the non-US public is not really on her side with this album. Radio isn't on her side either. I'm forced to listen to the radio at work pretty often and I've heard 'Work' maybe once, 'Needed Me' 0 times and 'Kiss It Better' a grand total of 3 times. She used to be an absolute FORCE on the Dutch radio. If her next album isn't more commercial/less urban I fear she sooner than later will become a has-been relying on fan support and some of you might be fine with that but I'm not :lol:. She's not Beyoncé. She can't make up for the lack of hits with stage presence and sold-out Arena Tours. I didn't mean to write another essay :huh:

I want Rih to make the music she wants to but I also want her to continue to enjoy big commercial success and achievements. As big as 'Work' was this is her first album since her first album that only contains one big hit. Especially after her long absence this was the time to really bring it. All she really needed was to tack 'Cheap Thrills' on and she would've been set for this era tbh. It wouldn't have taken any credibility away from ANTI either. She's lucky she's featured on two big featured hits this year that kept her prominent during the Summer. I'm not asking for another GGGB or Loud, but it's not too much to ask for 2 or 3 big hits on every album, like TTT and 'Unapologetic' (which as albums I prefer to GGGB and Loud anyway) :cry:. The rest of the album can be post-avant garde jazzcore for all I care.

I really don't care about either but if I have to choose I think I prefer 'Cold Water'.

I'm so ready for her 9th album!! 'Love on the Brain' is gonna flop and so will everything else from ANTI. Give us the hits!

I feel sad to say that I don't even have the urge to listen to this album (for now).

I don't think anything on C+S would be a good performing single and certainly not 'Every Heart Broken'. It's a good song but I really never saw, and still don't see, it connecting with the public.

It's still my favorite album of 2016 so far. I just wish I had bought the European standard edition instead as, now my initial hype has died down and songs have had their change to grow/shrink(?), the only bonus track on par with the standard tracks is 'Touch It', and maybe 'I Don't Care' on but I really have to be in the mood for that. The other bonus tracks are my least favorite songs on the album. They're still solid.. but a killer 11 track album is better. I hope this album gets at least 6 singles as long as the singles keep performing moderately well like 'Dangerous Woman' and 'Into You'. MILK IT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.

The music video is out there (not on Vevo yet). I like the spinning sessions but my favorite part are the shower room shots near the end. Too bad Ariana isn't even in those scenes.

'Let Me' and 'Music of the Sun'. I feel this is the right moment to say that I think this Rihanna album is very underrated, meanwhile at least 3 of her other albums are pretty overrated. The only song that's not at least a bit enjoyable is 'Now I Know'.

I didn't expect 'Umbrella' to win over 'We Found Love' but happy that it did!

Reading my own words back and watching the performances again I thought I was a bit too harsh! I just expected more slayage I guess. The main plus of the night was that the performances showed how versatile she really is musically. She started off with her dance tracks, then went to dancehall, urban and ended on a pop note. She needs to stop snubbing the hits from her first two/three albums though! edit: Wanted to add that Drake was the perfect person to present the award to Rih and his speech was super cute and adorable.

I thought Beyoncé overshadowed Rih unfortunately.. well at least until Rih's last performance. Tbh I didn't really like any of the performances because I just dislike medleys. Just sing a damn song! Were those ''na nas'' of 'What's My Name' really worth putting the song in for :mellow:. And 'Work' and 'Needed Me' don't seem to work in a live setting. But at least she vocally aced the last performance.

Both songs are influenced by reggae music. I don't see any more similarities than that. 'Side to Side' was my favorite performance at the VMA's. Ariana has a great live voice that sounds even better live than it does on record. Nicki Minaj was awful on the other hand.

Why is it so short. It basically has two verses and two choruses and that's it. Actually pretty excited for the album. All the songs so far are pretty solid and he's definitely more dance this time around but still staying pretty true to his own sound.

What about the sandcastles!!! I wanna poke my eyes out when I see those.

'Love on the Brain' is in the Dutch tipparade (which functions as a bubbling under chart) and was there last week as well, but I didn't notice. I hope it'll enter the official top 40 sometime in the next few weeks! Although I don't want to get my hopes up as 'Kiss It Better' stalled there as well and I haven't heard it on radio yet, it's not in the iTunes top 100 or in the Spotify chart :lol:

My favorite song on the album and I think it's a good choice. I think it'll perform similar to 'Dangerous Woman' and 'Into You' but that's OK. 'Greedy' or 'Everyday' for 4th! (a lot of people seem to want 'Everyday').

omg yes WMN is her most overrated single. I still like it.. but I probably wouldn't rank it in the top half of her singles. Even from Loud singles it's my least favorite. 'Disturbia' and 'Don't Stop the Music' both don't deserve to be this high though... I hope both of them are not top 3.

I agree with most of the songs mentioned... We Found Love Umbrella Diamonds Rude Boy Stay and Work maybe... I don't think anything from 'Loud' will go down as a pop classic, as successful as that album was. Although I even heard 'Te Amo' on the radio yesterday so who knows :rolleyes:
