Like Joseph I'd say Taylor Swift, Adele or Beyoncé. I agree with Joseph that it feels like Taylor is just getting started (as much as I want her to disappear) and Beyoncé just has superstar quality with her looks, voice and 2 latest critically acclaimed albums. Just when I started to think she was losing it ('4' was not the biggest success and it could've been downhill from there) she turned things around. Adele speaks for itself, really. But I hope she will retire in a few years :D And I love Rihanna, but I think she will ultimately be remembered as a big singles artist. I hope she has plenty of smashes and big singles left in her, but she doesn't really seem to care about the big hits for the moment. A little point of critique as I don't think Britney is quite up there with the artists you mentioned. Yes she was huge at the time but her star has definitely faded and she feels very ''of her time'' and didn't last all that long. But maybe I feel this way because in The Netherlands her last top 10 hit was 'Do Something' (not counting the abysmal S&S).

I understand that. I'm not saying that the liberal US gun laws are not helping terrorists, I meant that terrorists will more likely have access to weapons regardless of laws. I almost cried over this news. I have no words for it. Well let's be honest, terrorists will get their weapons no matter the policy (see Paris, Brussels). I'm not in favor of the US gun laws, absolutely not, but changing the gun law will most likely stop disturbed people who do things on impulse, and won't have that much effect on planned attacks (assuming this attack was planned as IS claimed it). And I know it's a different topic entirely but I wish we lived in a world where such a thing as religion didn't exist.

The album is so diverse I think 'Focus' would fit right in. But even without 'Focus' it's still my favorite album of 2016 so far.

Still addicted to this but still annoyed that 'Focus' isn't on it! My favorite run is 'Side to Side' -> 'Let Me Love You' -> 'Greedy'. I'd say 'Side to Side' for 3rd single and 'Greedy' for 4th. 'Thinking About You' is probably the one that grew on me the most. I mean, I already liked it a lot but thanks to that gorgeous middle 8 it has insane replay value. It really elevates the song to new heights.

When the song started I was so confused 'cause 'No Type' by Rae Sremmurd is the only song I know with that intro. I didn't know it referred to the song's producer. It's OK but not great... I miss a catchy chorus like 'Pour It Up' has.

I used to miss trance music in the charts when the dance music in the charts became shit and too poppy (my opinion of course), but now I've accepted it as a thing of the past. Although just once I would like to transport back to 2000 and see how club life was back then. I hadn't heard that 'Anthem' song before but it sounds nice.

Yeah it really is the production :wub: Production often does it for me, more so than melody. I much prefer R&B productions over Max Martin poppy productions so that also explains the rest of my top 10. And before I made the top 10 I didn't realize I like so many Britney ballads but I guess I do. I DO have a weak spot for ILRNR but yeah...
