I like being one of the last voters to be revealed :o I hope I'll be last.

I just listened to this song (& video) for the first time and I almost cried. It's so personal for her, something that I'm not very used to see in her music.

'Looking Hot' actually annoys me. The chorus is so irritating. Overall the album is a disappointment :(. 'Settle Down' is definitely the highlight for me.

Apparently they worked with Daniel Lanois! Suddenly this album has my interest :o

The latter half of the album is pretty decent (although not very memorable), the first half is not. I like ''Waiting for the Night'' (why isn't that just called ''Day and Night''?) and ''Bucket List'' the most.

''High Life'' is ATROCIOUS. Her voice is on that song is like nails on a chalkboard. Especially in the ''La la la la la la'' parts. If ''Spirit Indestructible'' (song) had a decent hook then I might have been able to look past the bad production, but alas not. ''Parking Lot'' is just dull. ''Something'' is kind of cool thanks to Nas.

 

I expected more from the Remi productions to be honest, I mean for God's sake he's produced half of the ''Back to Black'' album, I don't know what went wrong here.

Inna has just released her new video (she's spouting out releases like Rihanna) for the song ''INNdiA'' (horrible name - I'll just rename it ''India'' in my iTunes).

 

 

I'm not a big fan of the chorus but the rest is pretty catchy. Also, I don't think she's ever looked as hot as in this video! I want to hear some news on the new album as this one is three singles in already..

I've now downloaded two of his albums ('Get It' and 'Repeat When Necessary') so I hope to discover some other gems. Hoping that it doesn't sound TOO stuck in time though.

I am well aware of Costello's opinion on Linda's covers of his songs, unfortunately :( (although to be fair, her version of 'Alison' is not very good - apart from the lovely sax in there).

Not as good as 'Trouble' but again leaps ahead of all of her other songs. I'm starting to think I could actually like this album (but I'm sure she has some horrible cliched ballads in there somewhere :().

Interesting to hear that version of 'Girls Talk', a quick look on wiki says it was really succesful. Never heard it before despite knowing the song through Elvis Costello and Linda Ronstadt.

Yay for Arrs! Great track, I need to check out some of DCD's more recent stuff, know their 80s material quite well.

 

I love their new album, it's highly recommended. It's a bit more eastern influenced than their older stuff I think (which I personally love). My personal favorite is 'Anabasis'.

I think 'Opium' will do alot better than everyone predicted or would expect! (watch me be wrong now :()

They're both available now on Youtube or her site and are on iTunes (US). (iTunes wasn't working for me so I couldn't check if they're also available in the Netherlands).

They sound great, especially '9th Inning'. I absolutely love the production on both. Would be great for her if they can be succesful.

I thought I didn't have a chance but since Semi II seems to blur into one very long track I'm hoping maybe I'll slip through.

REALLY getting into this now. For me it's the album Try This should've been. There are a couple of duds but that happens with almost every Pink album for me. Where Did The Beat Go is definitely my favourite. <3

 

'Try This' is amazing!! :angry: This has nothing on that album.

Not really crazy about this. I do really like the track with Eminem. I wonder if she'll ever be angry enough to make a great record like 'Try This' again though :(

To my ears they're both horrible.

 

I found Semi II on the whole to be really bad this time. I hope the qualifications from Semi I will be better.

I voted for Kylie because 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', 'Slow' and 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' led me to.

I love the single cover and the album name. I've listened to the song once but can't remember how it goes. I'll listen to it again when the vid drops to see what I think of it.

Santigold's 'Disparate Youth' is my favorite single of 2012 BY A MILE but overall the album was disappointing :(. Still too low of a position for her.

'Trouble' is the first Leona Lewis song I actually like. Well done. The feature from Childish Gambino is amazing.

Do not like it in acoustic though.
