Thats the problem, you know how all those lauren sketches are going to end. It was funny the first few times. It's still entertaining though. I reckon the swearing nan is the cleverest character and always has the funniest gags.

How ironic. I haven't heard much about these kids. Opera isn't my thing though, especially when it's sung by brats. :/
  3. Sounds about right. Predictable NME as usual. :puke2:
  4. David last night was hilarious with his stories that all ended in someone dying. :D
  5. It happened to the last x factor winner before him and it'll no doubt happen to the new winner aswell. Simon Cowell & co must have no shame to continue with this show when the last two winners have flopped.

I've become good at predicting what's going to happen. I foresaw lynne/paul and katya/max. I thought it was because I was psychic but it turns out it's because the storylines are just $h!t and predictable. :(
  7. David Gest actually came across as quite decent I thought. Only one that has stood out as really irritating is phina footballers wife woman or whatever she's called. Get her out! Go Matt! :cheer:
  8. I think there's something very wrong if someone covers a song and I still remember the original. Now I know how my parents feel!

Happy times. The best thing about it was the theme tune. I was scared of that little weirdo with the bun in her hair though. I used to have nightmares about her.
  10. Hanson. Those singles they released off the last album were all fab. I can't wait to hear this.
  11. Hey rob. Hope you're well. :) I reckon they would have progressed into a more grown up beatles type pop sound had the record label not pushed them into regressing back to the sound they began with. It's a shame really that the money grabbing leeches at the big record companies have the power to get in the way of a band making good music.
  12. Huh....?
  13. Opinion is a thing I respect but half of these people had them judged as soon as they saw their hairstyles. I've never known a band as unfairly judged as mcfly. People don't give them a chance. People have been claiming all along that they don't write their own songs and don't play their own instruments. That is ingorance. And going "Yawwwwwn" and "They're drowning! :cheer: " isn't putting across an opinion!
  14. They're ignorant and narrow minded. -_-
  15. She didnt invent the phrase! It's a line in 'please please'. I'm assuming that's where they got the idea for the album name. I really cant imagine them listening to enya anyway and going 'oooh we could use that!' I for one am looking forward to hearing this.
  16. Ironic that this topic is in the indie forum when the kooks are on virgin. Not alot of people know that! The singer is a t*** for acting like they are a too cool for (stage) school indie band. <_<
  17. The only one I saw was the one where she sang that song with the feeling and I thought it was pretty good.

I've changed my mind after hearing it a few times. It's a catchy little pop song. The video's cool too. :cheer:

Don't flatter yourself. I'm pretty sure they're back to chasing the pre-pubescent female pound.

It's rank. It looks like the foreign writing on the back of maltesers packets. :( I still love them though.

I'm scared. :( I've got a bad feeling this is the beginning of the end of them.
  22. No doubt people have said this already but whatev. Here's my thoughts on westlife. At one point they were pretty to look and released pretty decent pop soings. But then the decent pop songs stopped and were replaced with predictable covers. And they got ugly. But even when they were pretty and released decent songs, they still weren't respected because they didn't write their own songs and they always mimed and things. I used to think westlife were a decent pop band but now they bore me. It's Louis Walsh's fault. I'd rather listen to a pop band like mcfly who do actually have talent and whose personalities come through in their music.
  23. Well I am going to go against the grain and stick up for her. I like her. Her voice is gentle and it soothes me. And her songs are catchy in their quiet way. I for one am looking forward to her new album.
  24. "At first you made me smile/ it was nice for a while/ but then you turned vile" Sums up my Lily Allen journey perfectly.
  25. Girl Thing - Last one standing. :o  who remembers that????? I don't know. Sugababes - Overload possibly.
