I'm wide awake it's morning is the first bright eyes album I bought. I love that album, and is the live one called Motion Sickness? I have that one too. it's really good! It took me a while to get into it but it really is fab. Oh and recently I bought Lifted which I love and also Fevers and Mirrors but I haven't listened to that properly yet. I love his voice. So pretty. I'd love to see him live.

I lovvve Alan Partridge. The first series was the best, when he was living in a travel tavern. Michael the Geordie is so funny. :lol: yes. I was expecting such a reaction. I wasn't expecting anyone to agree or even acknowledge that Mcfly have a tiny bit of talent. *sigh*

Just found this little extract from an interview with Test Icicles and they make an interesting point about Mcfly. Do you know they had that Record Of The Year show? That All Bout You song? I've only ever really heard the adverts before (attempts to sing Mcfly), you only ever hear the "It's All About You" bit. So I watched the performance of that song and that bit is only at the end of the song, the song is progressive and there's no real chorus. It really builds up to the climax of that bit. It was really good. It's like that band are so good. Their latest single if that was written Oasis people would be going that song is f**king awesome, but because it's written by Mcfly it's sidelined. Mcfly are heaps better than Oasis. Opinions? I think he has a very good point about a good song being sidelined just because it's Mcfly singing it. And it's also nice and refreshing to hear someone saying something positive about a very decent pop band.
