  1. Btw I dunno if this was posted, but here are some song title she talked about in late 2009; Black Star - Written by Avril Lavigne, Produced by Deryck Whibley Gone - Written by Avril Lavigne and Evan Taubenfeld, producer unknown Fine - Unknown credits Everybody Hurts - unknown credits Darlin' - Written by Avril Lavigne, Produced either by Avril or Deryck. Alice - Written by Avril Lavigne, Produced by Butch Walker. Not sure if all 6 remain on the record. Think Everbody Hurts and Darlin' will stil be on the record as they were two songs presented to the media for album reviews mid last year, also Alice is confirmed to appear on the record by Avril herself. Also one thing Im scared about is that she said she has written most of this album on her own, and produced 3-4 songs on it herself! So who knows how it will turn out! :P
  2. The record was supposed to have a June release as planned by RCA, but Avril felt the record was "too serious" and wants to write one or two upbeat tracks to balance the record out. She's starting from scratch to get one or two good upbeat tracks on the record, so hence the major delay. Im guessing she wants one of them to be a potential single. Anyway she's on the July issue of Rolling Stone magazine, and the July issue of the Inked Music Edition. So Im assuming we will have a single around August and the record is being released in October. Not too long! Only 5 months for an album and 2/3 months for a single :D
  3. The song isnt on the new record LOL! Also Avril never said UMS was a label move. Infact the label werent even aware Avril wrote UMS, as she wrote it in 2 weeks with Chantal K. Also new news guys! The record is being released in October lol!
  4. According to Sony Music, Avril album is out in October 2010

  11. Avril Lavigne wrote a song for the album called 'Daydream'. Definitly the best song on the record. Uzt3eWvqeek

Revive her career? Her career wasn't dead.....She came off tour in November 2008, with 50,000 capacity venues in Asia in late 2008. She then wrote a jingle for her new perfume 'Black Star' in 2009. You can hear the jingle on youtube. She then launched the fragrance in June 2009. Since then she's been writing a self-written album that she wrote at home instead of with professional song-writers. She did have some co-writers such as her best friend Evan Taubenfeld, and co-writer of MHE on 6 of the songs, and the other 6 are self-written, and now including Alice too. Since then she got divorced, so the record that was supposed to be released November 17th, got pushed back to June 2010, to give her time after her upsetting break-up. She then wrote the song for Alice in Wonderland. And now in 6 weeks her new single will premier from her 4th studio album. Her career was never dead... so there was nothing to revive. BTW she's doing interviews about her new album. She said it was time for her to move on from the whole pop scene, and attract a more mature public. She said it won't be a regular pop album with lots of different styles, she said its more real. So there you go :)

Dont Stop Believing and Keep Holding On
  17. Every single song released. All complete nonsense. No quality, just some high pitch auto-tuning, sells well for a month, then dies to be forgotten forever. Brilliant how the music industry ended up isn't it? :/ 2002-2005 it looked like a promising future for chart music. Sadly....it hasn't worked out that way. Of course we are just waiting for that one artist to take that gap and become huge and lead music into the right direction again.
  18. FLOP. I love Paramore =] It's a great song but what the hell are they doing? They are picking the worst songs for singles off the album. Where the Lines Over Lap was an obvious single and still not used :/ Also we have Playing God which is amazing! I don't know who pick their singles, but they need to be sacked!

  20. I'm not a fan of boyzone but I think it's nice that the Irish support their own bands.
  21. Think you'll have to be more precise. What timeframe you looking for? Because of digital downloads etc. your statistics will be very biased towards everything before the year 2000. I'd look at particular timeframes if you're looking to measure the success of different artists.
  22. Everything that went to #1 this year so far was frankly shocking to me.

    Exactly ^^
  24. Ok anyway.... your comment to mine in the first place wasn't really needed. Im not gonna feed into these argumentative comments.
