  1. Amazing Spain | Edurne - "Amanecer" (It's very unique song and it deserves to be the winner) Sweden | Måns Zelmerlöw - "Heroes" (I love it at first listen. I like the visual effects too. Sweden never disappoints me) Italy | Il Volo - "Grande amore" (Italian language is one of the best languages worldwide. Il Volo have very good voices and "Grande Amore" sounds like a winning song. Classic music revenges..) Russia | Polina Gagarina - "A Million Voices" (I totally love this song. It could have been an Olympics Theme song (Like the "Power of the Dream"). It's already one of my favourite songs of the year. I always fall in love with these ballads) Greece |Maria Elena Kyriakou - "One Last Breath" (Ela re patrida! Skise tous ta kolovardoula!! Her song is a combination between Celine Dion and Delta Goodrem. Maria Elena has very strong voice. I hope she will be in the final!) Romania | Voltaj - "De la capăt (All over Again)" (This is definitely one of my favourite songs this year. It's very underrated.) Georgia |Nina Sublatti "Warrior" (One of the powerful songs in Balladvision this year. I hope she will have a stunning performance. it could be great as soundtrack too) Netherlands | Trijntje Oosterhuis "Walk Along" (One of my favourite songs this year. It differs from the rest) Very Good Ireland |Molly Sterling - "Playing with Numbers" (I like this piano ballad. Her voice is quite good) Iceland | María Ólafs "Unbroken" ( I love this song but the singer is so Emelie De Forest wannabe..) Estonia | Elina Born & Stig Rästa - "Goodbye to Yesterday" (I really like Goodbye to Yesterday but it sounds so "Summer Wine". I'm sure that it will be a big hit in my country like "Summer Wine"..) Austria | The Makemakes - "I Am Yours" (This reminds me of '70s. It has nice music. It could be great if Conchita sang it with a hat..) Israel | Nadav Guedj - "Golden Boy" (I like the fact that Israel sent an up-tempo song. I'm sure that Eurofans will dance with it on the arena) Malta | Amber - "Warrior" (One of the best entries from Malta) Portugal | Leonor Andrade - "Há um mar que nos separa" (I really like this song. Its very nostalgic. I'm glad that Portugal didn't send an english song one more time) Norway | Mørland & Debrah Scarlett - "A Monster Like Me" (I didn't like it on first listen. However, it has grown on me a lot. It's very sweet song) Slovenia | Maraay - "Here for You" (Her voice reminds me another singer but I don't remember her name. The song is quite catchy and it could be a hit in Europe) Switzerland | Mélanie René - "Time to Shine" (This is very good song but Switzerland always suffer from the alliances.. At least, it has rich citizens.:P) Ok Czech Republic | Marta Jandová & Václav Noid Bárta - "Hope Never Dies" (This is the best song from my "Ok" category") Albania | Elhaida Dani - "I'm Alive" (I noticed that she has many views on you tube and I wonder why..It's not bad but it's not good either) Belgium | Loïc Nottet - "Rhythm Inside" (This reminds me of Lorde. It's just ok. I guess that kids and teenagers will support it..) Azerbaijan | Elnur Hüseynov - "Hour of the Wolf" (I don't like so much the "male diva" songs. I would expect a better song from this country) Lithuania | Monika Linkytė & Vaidas Baumila - "This Time" (This song reminds me of "Monsters & Men". One of their best entries in the last years) Australia | Guy Sebastian - "Tonight Again" (I would expect something better from this big country. "Tonight Again" is so generic) Montenegro | Knez - "Adio" (I loved their entry last year. However, "Adio" sounds very typical song of them) United Kingdom | Electro Velvet - "Still in Love with You" (I like it and I'm sure that old people will love it. The retirement homes will totally support it..) Belarus | Uzari & Maimuna "Time" (It's listenable but it doesn't sound like a winning song. It's quite forgettable too) Moldova | Eduard Romanyuta - "I Want Your Love" (Quite catchy but it's so dated. They should have sent it 12 years ago..) Dull but decent France | Lisa Angell - "N'oubliez pas" (I prefer french movies than their current music. "N'oubliez pas" is not a bad song but it's the typical french ballad. I would expect something better than it. If France sent a song like Désenchantée, it would slay every country in Eurovision..BYE) Poland | Monika Kuszyńska - "In the Name of Love" (She has nice vocals but her song is not a big ballad. Take notes from the Queen Celine) Hungary | Boggie - "Wars for Nothing" (This song would have chances of winning only in Borefestvision.. However, I really appreciate the meaning of the song) Cyprus | John Karayiannis - "One Thing I Should Have Done" (The cypriot version of Ed Sheeran. However, I prefer Ed..) Average Armenia | Genealogy - "Face the Shadow" (What a mess..They had better entries in the past) Denmark | Anti Social Media - "The Way You Are" (It seems that their singing is not their greatest talent..However, their song has a good feeling) San Marino | Michele Perniola & Anita Simoncini - "Chain of Lights" (This reminds me of brazilian and mexican soap operas. Very dated) Serbia | Bojana Stamenov "Beauty Never Lies" (Watch the incredible Serbian film "Krugovi" instead of listening to this song.) Finland | Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät - "Aina mun pitää" (I always like the "metal" sound in Eurovision but this song is quite repetitive. At least, Lordi had an amazing song!) Screams & Shouts Germany | Ann Sophie - "Black Smoke" (She shouts a lot and her song is not good. They should have sent Lena again..) Latvia | Aminata "Love Injected" (Painful performance. She sings like she suffers from constipation..Tragic choice)

  3. "Life of Riley" is a French comedy with drama elements which was officially screened at last year's Berlin Film Festival. It didn't win the Golden Bear but was awarded the Alfred Bauer Prize, which is given to films that open new perspectives in the art of cinema. While in my country, it was released on Christmas Day. We finally saw it two months ago in a neighborhood cinema that usually choses older movies with a fairly low price ticket. The truth is that we only knew the Greek and French title and we went to watch it without knowing any thing about it. We were convinced that it would be an enjoyable story. However, it was not pleasant to watch. "Life of Riley" is based on the homonymous play by Alan Ayckbourn. This film plays out with three couples who live in the countryside of Yorkshire and in their spare time are amateur actors. They will learn a sad news about their favorite friend George Riley. The latter is mortally ill and has only a few months left. Nevertheless, the sad event will bring back the old personal affairs of the three couples, because they will reveal guilty secrets of the past associated with the central figure of the case, which is George. It's a story that basically talks about love, sex, human relations, theater and death. Since the beginning of the movie you realize the remarkable directing. There were not external shots. "Life of Riley" was filmed entirely in the studio La Cité Du Cinema Paris. However, the recognized French director Alain Resnais made sure to enrich the content of the film, with a few minutes of outside shots which reminded us a tour documentary. Moreover, there were some black-painted images -similar of those which have some literary books- that showed the homes of the protagonists every time before the settings changed. Unfortunately, Alain Resnais did not live to enjoy the success of his special film at the Berlin Festival since he died three weeks before it was displayed. While "Life of Riley" stands out enough from the other movies I've seen in recent years, the scenario was not the nicest. The story reminded me of the old Greek movies, without of course causing me laughter and pleasure like them. It had countless dialogues, the actors spoke very quickly and relentlessly and their acting reminded us of a more theatrical play than film. From the first half of the film I really wanted it to end because all that I saw seemed meaningless and hackneyed. Let alone, there was certainly no originality or inspiration about the story. "Life of Riley" is definitely one of the most irritating movies I've seen in the last decade in cinema. It was a very long story that had little positive elements such as some well written and cynical dialogues. You have to imagine that the cinema hall where we saw the movie, had an average age of 55, so I guess it's a movie for an older audience. However, it seems that IMDb users also did not like it much since it has received a moderate score of 6.1. Thank God that we spent only 2.5 euros otherwise I would have cried for my money. I would recommend it only to people that I do not like. Irrf7HhSHTw

"American Sniper" was one of the most hyped films four months ago. Inititally, it was shown at limited theaters on Christmas Day in the USA and it was officially realeased to the public the following month. "American Sniper" managed to receive six nominations for the Oscars, including "Best Director", "Best Adapted Screenplay", "Best Actor", "Best Film Editing", "Best Sound Editing" and "Best Sound Mixing" and was proposed for two categories, "Best Adapted Screenplay" and "Sound" from the Baftas. There were many who did not expect "American Sniper" to win so many nominations from the American Academy Awards although it received very positive reviews. The film is based on the book "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in US Military History" of former Marine Chris Kyle. He was considered to be the most deadly sniper in the history of the US Army. So, there were many who questioned why the film was made. Chris Kyle was played by Bradley Cooper, whose his popularity has risen a lot in recent years. Let alone that he was nominated for the third consecutive year for the coveted golden statuette. He interpreted perfectly his role although he had proposed previously this role to Chris Pratt in the Warner Bros. Film studio. Bradley Cooper was also one of the producers. Director of the film is the imperious Clint Eastwood who made the film after the departure of Steven Spielberg from the project. Having seen his most directorial works in the last twelve years such as Mystic, Million Dollar Baby, Changeling, Gran Torino, Invictus, Hereafter and J.Edgar, I strongly believe that he is one of the most charismatic people of his generation! He always manages to touch with his films and some of them are in the list of my most favorite films. However, I wouldn't say that "American Sniper" caused any emotion from me with the story but it was a quite good movie. It had elaborate montage, intricate scenes of war and very loud sound. However, there are some scenes of violence that will surely shock the audience and for this reason the film was heard several times in the main news of my country. I guess that the same happened almost everywhere because of its controversial plot. "American Sniper" is the most commercial film at the Box Office for 2014! Its success exceeded all expectations at Warner Bros. and "American Sniper" gathered millions of people in the cinema all around the world. Furthermore, it was the most successful movie from the eight nominated Oscar films in the category "Best Picture", having a huge gap from the rest. Besides the support of critics, it had also the support from the audience after it has received a pretty good score on IMDb (7,4). Personally, I found it much better than I expected and I can say that it is one of the most remarkable productions of its kind. Moreover, Clint Eastwood hasn't disappointed me yet.

  6. I voted "Thor: The Dark World". It didn't impress me so much although I watched it in 3D. It wasn't bad but it didn't wow either..
  7. "Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem" is an Israeli-French production which was released in my city two months ago. It was originally screened at last year's Cannes Film Festival, in the "Directors' Fortnight" part and it received very positive reviews. Much later, it was selected as the official proposal for Israel for the "Best Foreign Language Film" and was also nominated for a Golden Globe in the same category. I had not previously seen the official trailer but I read a few lines about its contents in a film site and they totally persuaded me to watch it on the big screen. "Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem" is not based on a true story, although the heroine of the film could identify with thousands of other women in Israel. The film deals with the difficulties which women face when they decide to divorce. They face incredible bureaucracy and the religious law which in force in Israel, unfortunately it is not impartial towards them. So, the film is to criticize this sad situation with the particular story. Vivian Amsalem is separated from her husband and comes to the rabbinical court to get divorced. However, her husband refused to give her the divorce, the actual paper, and the whole process lasts years after Viviane Amsalem makes new application every time. The film has no exterior shots and its plot develops only in the courtroom. Nevertheless, the director Ronit Elkabetz along with her brother Shlomi Elkabetz, wrote the script and made sure to enrich the story with too many different characters. This course was very pleasant because otherwise the film would be pretty boring. Let alone, some scenes reminded me of an old Greek TV Series with similar context. Ronit Elkabetz not only dealt with the creative part of "Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem" but she is also the protagonist of the film and she was very good with her role! Her facial expressions were excellent in each scene and she needn't have to talk so that the viewers were able to understand her bad psychology. We see very rarely this playing technique and I think that very few actors can support it. In my country, of course, no one can do it, especially new actors. "Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem" was also well directed although I'm not a fan of this kind of directing and it had very interesting and well-written script dialogues. "Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem" is a pretty good movie which is seen with interest and it does not tire the viewers. It could certainly have some exterior shots so to break the monotony but the writers obviously wanted to focus purely on the drama of Vivian Amsalem. It is not one of the movies that gather a lot of people in the cinema but it is one of those films that immediately earn the appreciation of the beholder. For this reason, it has a high enough score in IMDb (7,9) which shows that its audience has utterly loved it. Perhaps, some malignants have panned it as a feminist propaganda but personally I would say that it is a complaint form to the existing justice system of Israel. 3jWp4i9SqqU

"Leviathan" was released in my country's cinemas two months ago. It was originally screened at last year's Cannes Film Festival, where it received very good reviews and won the award for "Best Screenplay". Then, it became the official Russian proposal for an Academy Award and was selected to be one of the five films in the category "Best Foreign Language Film" but lost the Golden Statuette to "Ida". Furthermore, it was suggested by the British Film Academy for "Best Foreign Language Film" and it was the big winner in the respective category of the Golden Globes! All these great distinctions that were awarded to "Leviathan", intrigued us to go and see it on the big screen. Having seen the official trailer several months ago, we were convinced that its content would be good enough. "Leviathan" had several references from the Bible, like the main character of the film named Kolya, who represent Job. The word "Leviathan" in Hebrew means "sea monster" and it is no coincidence that in several scenes of the movie, it was dominated by the carcass of a whale. The film's director Andrey Zvyagintsev wrote the script along with Oleg Negin. Basically, they wanted to emphasize with this particular story, the corruption that exists in today's Russia. Rich people and elected officials have an unfair advantage in court, as they use their power for their personal interests in contrast to the poor and weaker left to the mercy of their fate. In this case the protagonist of the film is confronted by the mayor, who wants to take away Kolya's land and build a mansion. Certainly, Kolya does not accept the proposal of the local lord and from there begins an unequal struggle between them. In his effort to face the insistence of the mayor, Kolya will have the support of his wife and his best friend who is a lawyer and lives in Moscow. The latter will play a catalytic role in the upcoming life of Kolya. "Leviathan" had pretty good directing but the dreary and depressive shots, perhaps tired the viewers. Also in the second half of the film, the rhythm fell somewhat and the atmosphere was a bit stuffy in the movie theater. However, the interpretations of the actors were good enough and it had interesting scenario while we saw the attitude of Russians in their country. Further to say, that they drank vodka as we drink bottled water in the summer. Also, it had a very good photography and remarkable soundtrack. I would not tell you that "Leviathan" was one of the best foreign language films I saw in recent months. However, it was a movie with a lot of symbolism and the writers wanted to spread a lot of messages with this tragic story. So, I guess that it was the main reason which it was appreciated by the connoisseurs of cinematic space. It has also received a high average score in IMDb (7.8), showing that viewers liked what they saw. In my opinion, I found it quite good but not as good so that it was proposed by the three renowned institutions like the Golden Globes, the Baftas and the Oscars. jpawdA34HNk
  10. "Live While We're Young" is the weakest of them..
  11. "Give Your Heart A Break" should be a No.1 in U.K! Shame!
  12. "Winter Sleep" is a Turkish film that was originally screened in last year's Cannes Film Festival. It was regarded as one of the big favorites for the Palme d'Or, which it eventually won, and received the best reviews! Moreover, it was the official submission for Turkey for the "Best Foreign Language Film" category at the Academy Awards but it was not chosen to be one of the nine movies which made January shortlist. In my country, it was delayed enough to be released, but this did not discourage the Greek audience that defied the cold and went massively to watch it in the cinema. Especially the opening week had very good earnings although it was played only in two cinema halls. "Winter Sleep" is the first Turkish film that I watched at the cinema and to be honest, I wanted to see it for a long time. Turkish productions are good and this specific movie managed to win two awards at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, including the Palme d'Or and the FIPRESCI Prize. However, I am not fond of Turkish series which I've watched patchy at times on TV and my opinion is very negative about their content. They are based mainly on intrigues, conspiracies and schemes, they have permanently bickerings while the actors repeat the same Turkish phrases/words each time. However, the cinema is usually distinguished from the TV productions of every country, so I assumed that “Winter Sleep” would have a more sophisticated result. However, what concerns me more about this movie was its huge duration that exceeds three hours. It’s actually 196 minutes long. The fact that it is a social/drama, with this title, it was obvious that it would be quite boring. And indeed this happened. "Winter Sleep" was very slow and continuous dull and the depressing shots did not help the whole atmosphere. Let alone, two actors tortured a horse while they tried to capture it close to a river and the director is being sued for alleged animal cruelty. I guess that the director did it because he wanted a very powerful, realistic scene but many people found it totally unacceptable and horrible as me. Nevertheless, the film had well-written dialogues, well-developed characters, very good performances and the photography was exquisite. "Winter Sleep" is loosely based on two short stories by Chekhov; "The Wife" and "Excellent People". The director of the film is Nuri Bilge Ceylan, who wrote the script along with his wife Ebru Ceylan. Nuri Bilge Ceylan has done a remarkable job in "Winter Sleep" but he should have been more careful about the length of the film. You can only imagine that the original duration was 4.30 hours! It caused me to yawn a lot even though I saw it in the afternoon screening and its plot did not have something that was notable. I was not touched at all by the story and some scenes could have been cut in editing. It would be good if social films with profound meanings not exceed two hours in their whole duration, because after some time, they end up being tedious and burdensome to the viewers. And this film manages to throw the audience into a cinematic "winter sleep". Although possibly some viewers like this situation because people’s taste are quite weird nowadays. I think that "Winter Sleep" was overestimated enough from the critics and hipsters all around the world. This is definitely not a bad movie but it doesn’t differ from the other films of its kind. Perhaps, elderly people would like it because I noticed that the cinema hall was full of elderly and middle-aged women who watched this movie with devotion. I didn’t hear even a whisper! It has also received a very high average score in IMDb, which I find it quite exaggerated when much better films have worst average scores. I personally never liked boring movies, no matter how good quality they had, like the movie "Ida". My main criteria in the cinema is the enthusiasm, the sensationalism, the emotion and the speculation, but "Winter Sleep" did not cause me any of them. F2_H9b0H4d0

"Jupiter Ascending" is one of the newest science fiction films which had its world film premiere this year! "Jupiter Ascending" was advertised during the summer after it was originally scheduled to be released in mid-July of last year but it had been postponed to early February this year! It has an impressive official trailer that convinced us completely to watch it and the fact that the brothers Larry (ex Lana) and Andy Wachowski inspired this script idea, there was no way not to miss their new achievement on the big screen. "Jupiter Ascending" is definitely one of the most impressive films I saw in recent months. It had amazing visual and sound effects, cascading montage, spectacular colors and excellent cinematography. On the other hand, the scenario was naive and incoherent in some places while the basic story of losing substance. The Wachowskis, having to their credit a philosophical film like "The Matrix", raised the bar too high and it is logical that the public would be dissatisfied with their new venture. Even some of their following works as the beloved "V for Vendetta" and the fantastic "Cloud Atlas" had a very high level which I would not say the same for "Jupiter Ascending" too. Nonetheless, their new movie is seen pleasantly and did not tire us at all although exceeding two hours in length. Furthermore, it had amazing chase scenes accompanied with epic sounds composed by the notable American-Italian composer Michael Giacchino while the representantion of space was literally breathtaking! The interpretations were likeable and some dialogues caused us to laugh but unfortunately some action scenes in the beginning and some cheesy characters, reminded me of a more sophisticated Power Rangers. This, of course, was not a good thing. It made me also a negative impression, the selection of Eddie Redmayne in the role of the evil villain. He seemed as a bad caricature and this specific role was not suitable for him although he received the best reviews for his performance in "The Theory of Everything" and he was one of the biggest winners at the Oscar’s night! I guess that his role/character couldn’t help him at all because it was quite ridiculous. "Jupiter Ascending" had a disappointing result in the Box Office. However, it had more satisfactory numbers outside the United States which means that viewers ignored the appalling reviews that were written about its content such as scenario and over dependence on special effects. It just outnumbered the overall budget but many critics believe that it's still a failure. Surely, this is not the best result because we are talking about an original script idea which costed $176 million to the Warner Bros. Film Studio, intending to offer an ultimate spectacle to the cinematic audience. Though, I wouldn't claim that "Jupiter Ascending" is one of the best films or one of the worst of its kind but I strongly believe that it deserves to be watched only in the cinema because of the wonderful work that has been done on the technical and audio part.

"Selma" was released on my city's cinemas two months ago, but there was a lot of competition that time and it had quite a disappointing start. "Selma" was one of the eight nominated films in the category for "Best Film" at the Oscar but it hadn’t a chance to win the Gold Statuette. This does not mean that the film is not good but "Boyhood" along with "Birdman" had already collected the majority of the awards such as "Golden Globes" and "Bafta". "Selma" was nominated for four Golden Globes and won in the category for "Best Original Song" while it had been nominated for two Oscar awards, in which it won the "Best Original Song". It wasn’t advertised as the other nominated movies and the promotion was not the best but the choice of the Oscar made me not ignore this film. "Selma" is based on true events and it takes place in the homonymous city of Alabama. There, Martin Luther King is trying to convince the local African-Americans to begin a march to Montgomery to convince the American President Lyndon Johnson, to sign into law the Civil Rights Act. Do not forget that up to that time (1965), African-Americans could not vote in the Southern States of America and that was something that made them become active as soon as possible. His speeches of visionary Martin Luther King definitely played a major role in the psychology of African-Americans because he was one of the greatest personalities of his time! The film moves slowly but occasionally there were some very strong scenes that caused us strong emotions. The Afro-American director of the film Ava DuVernay, although she has not particularly filmography to her credit, did a great job in this movie. Do not forget that this is the first African-American to receive a nomination for "Best Director" at the Golden Globes and is the first African-American to have a candidate film for "Best Picture" at the Oscar. So, "Selma" managed already too many achievements. Of course, there were many people who criticized the American Academy Awards this year, because they didn’t suggest Ava DuVernay for "Best Director" at the Oscars. Also, there were many who reported the absence of black actors on 20 nominations for performances (it had not occurred since 1998), although David Oyeloyo could be a contender based on his performance. He was very good in his role and convinces as Martin Luther King. The second roles were quite good without any particular interpretation and the soundtrack was remarkable. The movie has some real video documents and the additions of them gave a higher value to the overall effect of the film while the part of the art direction did a very good job! "Selma" is a remarkable production, but the fact that "12 Years a Slave" starred last year, it played a role in the inability to gain the attention of this year's Oscar. However, it could have gained the support of the American Film Academy after "Selma" has much in common with the dramatic events in Ferguson last August. Maybe that vindicated somehow the residents of this city. However, Selma received very positive reviews and has been loved by many viewers who saw it as receiving a high average score in IMDb (7,6). Nevertheless, I believe that it had been harmed by a large section of the public due to the very low earnings worldwide. I wouldn’t say that it was between my top films of last year but it’s a powerful story which deserves the attention of movie-goers. I loved this song from the movie : Vf28d5qIY9U

"Whiplash" is one of last year's film surprises that won the appreciation of film committees and critics worldwide! It was originally screened at the Sundance Film Festival, which won the U.S Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award for best dramatic film! Then, it won a Golden Globe, in the only category in which it was proposed in as "Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, Musical or Comedy", three Bafta awards, including "Best Actor Supporting Actor", "Best Editing" and "Best Sound" and was also nominated for a total of five Academy Awards! Something told me that this movie had been overestimated by everyone based on its script but finally "Whiplash" is one of my favourite films of 2014! The film is based on an ambitious Jazz drummer named Andrew Neiman, which his ultimate goal is becoming a member of the studio band of Princeton High School. This school just happens to be one of the best music schools in the country! There, he is confronted with the crotchety and strict teacher of the band and their relationship will reach to the edges! The requirements and expectations that the teacher demands from the students are so high that they will make Andrew overcome his personal limits to achieve his greatest goal! Further to say that JK Simmons, who plays the school teacher, is excellent in its interpretation and he totally deserved the coveted Academy Award more than any other in its category. I'm pretty sure I will never forget this incredible performance! Equally great is the rising actor Miles Teller that embodies the young musician and convinces everyone with his hypocritical talent. The director/screenwriter of the film Damien Chazelle has done a great job! The main components of his movie are the high intensity and the rapid screening. It does not lose the rhythm for a second and is seen with interest from its beginning to end. It has subversive end and you cannot be sure of anything as you watch it. "Whiplash" has also nice cinematography, elaborate editing and very good music. I guess that fans of jazz and the fans of independent American cinema, will literally love this specific movie! It creates such an atmosphere that makes you forget that you are in a movie theater. "Whiplash" is definitely one of the most powerful stories of last year! I honestly cannot find anything negative from its content and I can say only positive words. Though, I consider that it has been harmed by the side of the viewers because its low earnings are totally unjustified. Just, maybe this fault falls on the promotion of the independent production studio but the fact that it excelled in so many categories at Bafta and Oscar, should have given it a boost. However, it has been loved by the audience who saw it and has received a very high average score in IMDb (8,6) that classifies it in the 40 best films of the site! I highly recommend it because “Whiplash” is in my list of the best movies I've seen so far!
  20. I hope it will be a successful single for her! Her last album was totally great but it was so underrated..
  21. In my personal list, Celine Dion will be my No.1. She is a great singer with a divine voice. It sounds quite disappointing the fact that we will never listen to an artist like her in the future. "Fade Away" should be a single.

I read that Jake Gylenhaal is great with his new role. Maybe he will receive an Oscar nomination the next year. He is very good and he has improved in later years. "Southpaw" is a sports drama movie directed by Antoine Fuqua. I have watched many of his films (Bait, Training Day, Tears of the Sun, King Arthur and Brooklyn's Finest) and I think that he is quite good director.
