  1. *1 The soundtrack was awesome though..Breakaway  *2 I couldn't help but wonder why they praised so much this movie..I feel that critics love to waste their time with boring stories.. *3 I think that V for Vendetta was a genius movie. It should be in every positive movie list. http://38.media.tumblr.com/3ddd23e32492cb9042b8175f66628dc8/tumblr_n8od2uUX4H1rejb9lo1_500.gif *4 I believe that it was an underrated movie. It should have been nominated for an Oscar. The performances were so emotional and the characters remind me of ancient Greek tragedy. However, our economy is our current tragedy..:kink:
  2. Are you okay? I was really worried about you because you had a long time to connect in Buzzjack. I guess that you were busy with personal things (work, studies etc) that's why you weren't here. I hope it wasn't something serious though. I really missed your posts here. Actress Rate Results totally need you.. ^_^ Have you watched any movies lately? *1 I don't remember the bathtub scene but I remember the scene with rabbit.. What a bitch.. *2 I watched the movie but I don't remember that scene. I should be worried about my memory problems.. :P http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m79hbjXZvB1qi1gl0o1_500.gif
  3. Did you watch "Crazy/Beautiful"? She was quite good. However, her performance in "Melancholia" was one of her best.. http://24.media.tumblr.com/7f381d4c200a783a81b71e6fa55382d5/tumblr_mj7rlb9hST1s610slo1_500.gif

01 • (02) | Madonna – Rebel Heart [2-1-] Is there any official link for this? I searched it on you tube but there is nothing..I'm very curious about it.. 04 • (03) | Minnie Driver - Human [19-7-3-4-] I liked her first single "Invisible Girl". She was a decent actress too. 25 • (**) | Jennifer Lawrence – The Hanging Tree [25-] I thought that you don't like her..
  6. No.80 I really like this flop. I don't know what happened to her..She could be a big popstar. She is gorgeous, she has style and she has nice songs. "Lay Me Down" didn't deserve this bad luck..Unfair world! No.79 I like "Last Night" although I reagard it as my least favourite of their singles. It shouldn't be a Top 3 hit in my opinion. Everybody has already forgotten it.. Ok, there are some exceptions.. :kink: No.78 The Script is definitely one of my favourite bands!! They have very good songs and the voice of the frontman is amazing. I'm glad for their success. I wish my country had a band like them. No.77 Love Love Love Clap! If I made a list like yours, I would have it in my Top 10! For a long time I believed that Charlie XCX copied Marina and The Diamonds but I changed my mind about her. Did you watch "The Fault In Our Stars"? It's my favourite movie of the year. The story is very emotional and it's full of social messages. Shalene Woodley was just perfect.. No.76 I really appreaciate Ed Sheeran and I regard him as one of the most likeable artists in the last years. He seems a nice guy. I like "Sing" but it's not one of my favourite songs by him. The chorus is very catchy though. Sing! Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh No.75 I don't know this woman. She looks like a Brandy's wannabe based on her photo/cover.. :P I like R'n'B but this song is not something special. However, if she releases a better song than it, I will change my opinion about her. No.74 It has one of the most catchy rhythms! I love Cheryl, I love the song and I love the videoclip. It's not the definition of quality but it always makes my day.. No.73 This should be the soundrack of "Ouija".. :P I just listened to it because I saw it here. However, I think that "Shaking Heads" is better than it. No.72 One of the most underrated singles this year! The chorus is so addictive! It should be a Top 10 for her. Cruel world! No.71 Nice song. I believe that she had an improvement with her last album. The latter two singles have beautiful harmonies. Very good choices so far!!
  7. :hi: 1. [6] Lana Del Rey- Big Eyes [6-1] Is it a new song from her? Is it a soundtrack? She will be the new queen of Soundtracks. Celine Dion was the first.. 3. [-] Fifth Harmony- Bo$$ [3] Very catchy rhythm but the lyrics are so disappointing. It should be nominated for "the worst lyrics of the year".. I want a Kanye-ye not a Ray J, I'm a Maybach and you's a Volvo, Boss... Michelle Obama Purse so heavy gettin' Oprah dollars, I ain't thirsty for no bae...'Cause I already know watchu tryna say Seriously, who wrote this song?? :D 6. [5] The Veronicas- You Ruin Me [3-4-2-8-8-5-4-5-3-4-5-6] Very decent ballad. I loved their second album. I was so excited about them six years ago. My favourite songs of them is "When It All Falls Apart" (from their first album) and "This Love" (from their second album). "Untouched" and "This Is How It Feels"are also great! 8. [3] Idina Menzel- Let It Go I know that many members totally hate it but it's not as bad as they say. I have noticed that they praise much worse songs than it.. :P 9. [7] Taylor Swift- Wildest Dreams Nice song!! 17. [35] Mark Ronson Ft Bruno Mars- Uptown Funk [35-17] I prefer Fleur's version.. 18. [36] Lauren Platt- Happy [22-2-3-10-11-21-33-38-36-18] This was her best performance to date! I loved it! 19. [10] Lorde- Yellow Flicker Beat [35-20-10-19] One of the best soundtracks in the last three years. 23. [14] Taylor Swift- Out Of The Woods [9-2-7-8-14-7-12-14-23] I hope she will release it as a third single. [32] Taylor Swift- I Know Places [41-81-19-19-23-32-31] Taylor has many good songs with this album. She had a great inspiration. 34. [31] Meghan Trainor- Lips Are Movin [31-34] I didn't inititally like "Lips Are Moving" but it grew on me. 35. [R/E] Faith Hill- There You'll Be [35] Classic! Faith Hill has great voice. She is gorgeous too! I love these two songs from Taylor Swift. The latter reminds me of Avril Lavigne. 44. [39] Taylor Swift- All You Had To Do Was Stay [8-7-13-22-28-39] 45. [38] Taylor Swift- Bad Blood [4-9-18-24-36-38]
  8. I'm fine, you? 90 I really like "Salute". I would say that their way of singing was great into this song. 89 I don't like this song. It's a little bit repetitive and the chorus is not great. 88 One of the most catchy songs of the year! I feel sory about their loss. This woman had so energy in the videoclip. 87 I liked her new single. I listened to it many times when I was at my home. However, her album wasn't great. She should stop reacting like a teenager. I can excuse her for one reason. She is a "gemini". :P 86 Decent ballad. Her "Wildest Moments" was a big hit in my country last year. I feel that she is very overrated by her fans but she is very underrated by the audience. She should be somewhere in the middle in my opinion. 85 I like this song and I think that she has very unique vocals. If I listened one of her new songs, I would recognise her voice. 84 I wouldn't say that I love Clean Bandit. Its a nice band but I think that they are overrated here. I still remember my reactions when I saw the comments about "Rather Be" in The Buzzjack Sunday Chart Thread". 83 It's listenable but nothing special. Calvin Harris is so hit or miss for me. 82 This is one of my favourite songs this year! I thought that it would be a big hit for him. However, I feel that the verses are much better than the chorus. The latter sounds a bit generic. 81 I love the majority of their singles. This is one of them. The powerful chorus makes it more exciting. It should be a Top 10 hit for them. The videoclip looked cheap though. I would expect a video like this from a local girlband of my country.
  9. Does it exist..? lol
  10. No.16 Totally Points : 19 Kirsten Dunst http://adventureamigos.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Kirsten-Dunst-kirsten-dunst-221948_1024_768.jpg I think that she could be a great model based on her photos. She is gorgeous in every of them. However, Kirsten is not a dull personality like the majority of the models, so we are lucky to watch her in movies than on catwalks. I had a conversation with a friend about her three months ago. I believed that she was a sour woman - in contrast to my friend - but I changed my mind about her when I saw some of her interviews. I would say that she is quite nice. She has a wide varitey of roles and she has played in many movies so far! She is a German American actress, singer, model and director. She made her film debut in Woody Allen's short film "Oedipus Wrecks" for the anthology film "New York Stories" (1989). At the age of twelve, Dunst gained widespread recognition playing the role of vampire Claudia in "Interview with the Vampire" (1994), a performance for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Best Supporting Actress". Dunst achieved international fame for her portrayal of Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy. She won the "Best Actress Award" at the Cannes Film Festival and the Saturn Award for "Best Actress" for her performance in Lars von Trier's "Melancholia" (2011). In 2001, Dunst made her singing debut in the film "Get Over It", in which she performed two songs. She also sang the jazz song "After You've Gone" for the end credits of the film "The Cat's Meow" (2001). She gained German citizenship in 2011 and now holds dual citizenship of Germany and the United States. Five members voted this amazing actress!! I have watched many of her movies so far : Jumanji (Nice movie, great visual and sound effects, exciting story), The Virgin Suicides (Intriguing story with nice performances), Bring It On (I enjoyed it a lot but it was very childish/The ultimate movie about cheerleaders), Crazy/Beautiful (Very nice romantic movie, I liked her performance/she had great chemistry with the leading actor), Spider-Man (Amazing visual effects, it had elaborate editing), Mona Lisa Smile (Decent movie but the script had a lot of cliches/The cast was great though), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Interesting script with nice performances/I loved the main concept) Spider-Man 2 (The bad character was a little bit ridiculous for me but the movie was quite good/However, it was my least favourite of the trilogy), Wimbledon (I enjoyed this movie although I'm not the biggest fan of tennis/ However, it's a little bit forgettable), Elizabethtown (It's not a great movie but it's not bad either/ It was quite boring in some parts), Marie Antoinette (I thought that I would watch a decent movie about this controversial character of history but it was full of modern songs/ I didn't like this kind of concept), Spider-Man 3 (It was the most impressive Spider-Man movie), Melancholia (The cinematography was simply great but the content was heaviness/I wanted to escape from the cinema) and The Two Faces of January (The photography was great and it had beautiful shots. However, the plot wasn't so exciting as I thought that it would be..). I would suggest you to watch "Jumanji" because it was one of the best fantasy adveture movies of 90's, "The Virgin Suicides" because it was sentimental story with many social meanings, "Crazy/Beautiful" for the fans of romantic stories, "Spider-Man" because it was a great adaptation of the comic, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' for the fans of alternative/weird movies, "Spider-Man 2" for the fans of superhero movies, "Spider-Man 3" because it was the most impressive movie of the trilogy and 'Melancholia" for the fans of art films. I think that they will adore it.

  12. No.17 Total Points : 18 Jessica Lange http://s3.amazonaws.com/img.goldderby.com/images/1349752519_Lange.jpg I totally respect this actress although I haven't watched many of her movies. However, she has a great personality and I feel that she totally shines. Maybe, the majority of the voters don't know this woman but I believe that she deserves your attention. She is an American actress who has worked in film, theater and television. Her paternal ancestry originates in Germany and the Netherlands, while her maternal ancestry originates in Finland. Her debut role was in "King Kong" in 1976! She received her first Golden Globe Award and was followed by a role in the musical "All That Jazz" (1979), her second output delivered in the 1970s. Throughout the 1980s, she starred in ten major motion pictures, five of which earned her Academy Award nominations and four at Golden Globes, respectively. Apart from the winner on both ceremonies "Tootsie" (1982), her other notable roles featured the films "Frances" (1982), "Country" (1984), or so far also her only work co-produced by herself, "Sweet Dreams" (1985), and "Music Box" (1989). The subsequent decade, Lange was assigned a line-up of additional leads of comparable quality, appearing in ten theatrical films and three television productions. Among others, her 1990s titles included "Men Don't Leave" (1990), "O Pioneers!" (1992), "Blue Sky" (1994), "A Streetcar Named Desire" (1995), "A Thousand Acres" (1997), and "Titus" (1999). This time around, the actress was nominated for one Oscar which she won, four Golden Globes, winning two, and an Emmy, her first nomination ever! In the most recent decade, Lange has revitalized her performing craft by starring in a FX's horror anthology called American Horror Story (2011–present). Lange is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), specializing in the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in spreading awareness of the disease in Russia. She has also been a public critic of former U.S. President George W. Bush, once calling his administration, "a self-serving regime of deceit, hypocrisy and belligerence," and has been a fervent human rights supporter of the Buddhist monks in Nepal. In the early 1990s, she fostered a child with disabilities from Romania. According to Box Office Mojo, thirty-one of Lange's feature films have grossed a total of approximately $1 billion worldwide with an average of $33.74 million per title! Lange is one of the most celebrated actresses of the modern era. I just realised that she has one of the best biographies I've read so far..What an amazing woman! Three members had her name on their lists! I have watched a few of her movies so far : King Kong (I watched this movie a lot of times when I was kid/ One of my favourite movies that era/ It was quite scary in some parts), Tootsie (Very funny movie but I have to watch it again) and Cape Fear (One of the best psychological thriller of that year, with intirguing script and nice performances). I would suggest you to watch "King Kong" because it's a cult film, 'Tootsie" because you will laugh a lot with the characters and the story and "Cape Fear" because Martin Scorsese always makes decent movies. I think that Lange's movies will be my first priority in the next year.
  13. Do you believe that "Dictator" was overrated? I thought that his fans totally disappointed about it. However, I laughed a lot during the movie. I have to watch "Easy A" because Emma received positive reviews about her performance. Gwen Stacey was adorable though. I really liked "Magic in the Moonlight" and her character. She was very funny without being ridiculous.
  14. "Divergent" is definitely one of my favourite action movies this year. It had intriguing script and Shailene Woodley was great as "Tris". I'm looking forward to watch "Insurgent"..The official trailer looks very promising! IR-l_TSjlEo
  15. Oh my gosh..I have watched so many movies in the cinema this year and only five of them were nominated..(Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Gone Girl, Ida, Interstellar and Noah). I guess that studios release their best films in the end of the year..I couldn't help but wonder why "Ida" was nominated for "Best Foreign Language Film..It was boring as hell. What happened to them??? Seriously
  16. I voted "Green Light". It's full of shoutings.. :P

  21. I have to admit that 2014 is not one of my favourite music years. Surely, I heard a lot of good songs but only a few of them are great. I didn't feel so excited with the majority of the hits. However, I will follow your list because I'm sure that we have common taste (based on your comments in uk music chart forum). 100. I just heard it because you have it on your list. Very nice song. The verses and the music remind me of 90's. Thanks for this! I will put it on my youtube list. 99. "West Coast" is definitely one of my favourite songs this year. I listened to it many times. It should be a big hit for her. 98. I love "Beating Heart" and it was a great choice for soundtrack. "Divergent" is one of my favourite action films this year. I'd recommend you watch it. 97. Very catchy song although they are not one of my favourite girl groups. I feel that they couldn't beat "Girls Aloud" and 'Sugababes" even if they released their best single. 96. This is one the most addictive songs in the last years. It's very funny and I always laugh when I listen to it. 95. It's quite catchy but it's not one of her best singles. 94. She should release it as single. Her management team did an awful job about her promotion. 93. Decent song but the movie was full of cliches. 92. I like this song but it's so overplayed. 91. This is one of my favourite songs this year. I love Demi and her vocals are sweet here. The Vamps have released good/ok songs so far. However, I haven't heard their last single yet (Cecilia..). Very nice choices so far..
  22. I feel that these old gems deserve to have a place here. Everytime I watch movies from this period, I will add them here. If you watched movies from this era, you could add them here. My first movie is "Pillow Talk". "Pillow Talk" is a Hollywood comedy that has all the elements that define the old American classic cinema. It was released in 1959 and it was nominated for 5 Academy Oscar, from which it won the Academy Award for "Best Writing (Original Screenplay)". It was one of the most successful movies of that year and the viewers loved the leading pair (Doris Day and Rock Hudson). Although I have not seen many movies from the 50s and 60s, I found it as a good opportunity to watch this film at the nearby neighborhood cinema. "Pillow Talk" is one of the most enjoyable movies I saw this year. The story made us laugh many times, the dialogues were clever and well written and the interpretations of the actors were gifted. It reminded me of the good old Greek cinema although our domestic productions were affected by those of Hollywood. It is the second film I see starring Doris Day (after "The Man Who Knew Too Much") and I found her very good with this performance too. She was nominated for "Best Actress in a Leading Role" the following year. On the other hand, it was the first movie I saw with Rock Hudson and the character he played was fun. There was chemistry between the two protagonists and they played with such naturalness that it was a delight to watch. The directing was undertaken by Michael Gordon and the script was co-written by Russell Rouse, Maurice Richlin, Stanley Shapiro and Clarence Greene. The second roles were quite nice and the picture of movie were full of bright colors. The music was very good while there were some songs that reminded of us musicals and the Academy proposed the movie for the Oscar "Best Music". The story unfolds in a fun way and time passes without realizing it. Additionally, we observe that in these films, there were not provocative elements to cause fuss or impressions (no swearing, no nudity), in contrast with new productions. Of course, in modern times this way of making movies can be considered old-fashioned and outdated by some people, but that it is qualitatively superior to what we see today. Of course, there are exceptions. At least, they respected their audience and it is no coincidence that it remained a classic over the years. Nowadays, it is obvious that the moral and production values have been lost and they have become a second thought in movie production. "Pillow Talk" is one of the best comedies I've seen this year. It was very pleasant and there is no way that the audience didn't fall in love with this movie. It has received a high average score in IMDb (7,5) and it's an ideal choice for this period. Especially now, with the cold and the snow/rain. I highly recommend it to the fans of romantic comedies. qtjozLb1a5Q

I haven't watched "Eden Lake". I didn't know its existence. Does it have a topic here? I will add it to my future list of movies. "Wolf Creek" has great atmosphere. It had very slow rhythms in the beginning but it was quite good in the end. The most scary thing about it, was the fact that it was based on a true story. I haven't watched "Sinister" yet. I don't think that it had an official release in my country. "Final Destination" was quite good but it had many funny scenes. It was a little bit of parody. ^_^ "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003)" had many horror scenes. It was very brutal and raw and I guess that many people didn't like it for these reasons. However, the original film was dreadful. I didn't like 'The Blair Witch Project' for one particular reason. The leading actress was so irritating. She talked too much (what a bitch) and you couldn't enjoy the atmosphere of the movie. The ending was scary though. [Rec] I have heard a lot of good comments about this movie. I have to watch it ASAP. I forgot to add 'Battle Royale' to my choices. It was a clever concept. 'The Orphanage' was quite boring. I wanted to sleep in the cinema. 'Pan's Labyrinth' was a great movie although it's not a horror movie. I would say that it was a social/drama movie with a little bit imagination. The Host. Do you mean the movie with Saoirse? I haven't watched "Mystyrs" yet. However, the title really tempts me to watch it. 'Maniac' / I really don't know this movie. 'Fright Night' / I wanted to watch this movie because it's considered as a cult film.

I feel that "little character development" is one of the basic elements for these kinds of movies. They always have a good personality (the last victim) and the rest were terrible. Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween was only deaths. It hadn't plot and the directing wasn't great. I wouldn't say that it was my worst movie that year but it wasn't good as the original film. Basically, it was a hardcore film with many sadomasochistic scenes..

It was quite scary and the plot was amazing. I really loved the leading actress. She was very good. The gypsy was iconic.. :P http://www.theshiznit.co.uk/media/Oct2011/dragmetohell2.jpg
