Bad Horror Movies
I really want to watch "Ouija" because the official trailer tempts me. I haven't watched "Paranormal activity 2,3 and 4" yet. However, Paranormal activity was dreadful. The worst movie that I watched in the cinema five years ago. It wasn't very scary. There were only screamings..The woman was very irritating. Why "the ghost" didn't kill her?? :P Did you find any portential victim for this..? If I were you, I would struggle to sell it to anyone.. :P

Bad Horror Movies
I have watched two of them. "The Ring 2" was not so bad. However, it was worse than the first movie. "The Ring" is one one of the best horror movies ever! It had a lot of scary moments and the atmosphere was great too. "The Ring 2" was weak in comparison with it. I haven't watched "Let Me In" yet. I watched the original version of the film four years ago. The swedish version (Låt den Rätte Komma In) was quite good as I remember it. "I, Frankestein" is surely one of the worst movies that I watched in cinema this year. The directing wasn't good, the visual effects weren't impressive, the script was poor and the acting even worse. I thought that it could be a decent movie but it was very bad.

Bad Horror Movies
I decided to make a topic about old horror movies. I just watched "One Missed Call" and I felt that it was quite bad. If you had the same feelings about other horror movies, you could add your thoughts here. I was alone at home and I decided to watch a dvd. Since I made the decision, I preferred to see a thriller because these movies are always better when you see them alone at your home. My initial choice was "My Bloody Valentine" but I was informed from the dvd store that this movie was never released as a dvd in my country (what a pity). So I rented "One Missed Call" which I wanted for a long time to see but it never happened. "One Missed Call" came out in the cinemas in 2008. The truth is that I do not remember the official trailer and all I knew was that Shannyn Sossamon was starring in it (she is known from teen comedies). I can say that from the first quarters of the movie, I drew my conclusions about the film. The performances were pretty bad and the directing was moderate. It had a few scary moments and the end was very disappointing. Let alone, it ended somewhat fast. "One Missed Call" is a remake based on the Japanese horror film with the same English title released in 2003. As I have not seen the original film, I can not make comparisons between the two films. However I do not think that the original movie could be so bad. Otherwise what's the point of doing the remake? I expected that it would be a horror story with a serial killer, but eventually ended up seeing another supernatural movie with ghosts and evil spirits. The deaths reminded me of those in the "Final Destination" and as the case progressed, the more confusing it made me feel. The script had so many gaps which left unanswered questions and the do-it-yourself editing made it even worse. It was about 78 minutes but when it was in its 60th minute, I definitely wanted it to be over. Having seen in recent years many movies with similar story, I think that "One Missed Call" was pretty bad compared to the new ones, like The Conjuring, Insidious, Annabelle etc. There is nothing different that it can offer you and it is just a time killer. It reminded me of some old movies that came out exclusively for the purchase on video and later, to the DVD market. The French director Eric Valette has not done anything special after "One Missed Call" and this has not caused me any impression. Except that he guided the actors very poorly and created mediocre visual effects. The only good thing I found in the movie was the ringtone which you can hear in the official trailer. Maybe, it sounds very innocent and childish but actually it had something very scary during the movie. What a pity! It is used and wasted in this case. I really feel very lucky that I didn't watch "One Missed Call" in the cinema because I literally would have cried over the money spent. It received very negative reviews worldwide and the film was not screened for critics (I wonder why). It has amassed a very low score on IMDb (3,9) while there are many who believe that it's the worst remake which has been made in Japanese horror films. However, it had a good result in the Box Office and it managed to get back what was spent on its budget. It could have had a more realistic plot but since this was the concept, do not expect too much. H9-fOJHnjm0

No.18 Total Points : 16 Anna Faris http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-462GCxaYUWQ/UjoaOZTqj7I/AAAAAAAACiI/OnRVtzAaqfY/s1600/Anna%20Faris.jpg This was one of the biggest surprise in this rate. I would never expect to see Anna Faris in the Top 20. However, I laughed so much with her role in Scary Movies series. She was hilarious! She is very likeable too. I don't know anyone who hates Anna Faris (otherwise he/she shouldn't exist). Anna Faris is an American actress and singer. Her parents encouraged her to pursue acting when she was young and she gave her first professional acting performance at the age of 9 in a three-month run of Arthur Miller's one-act play Danger: Memory! at the Seattle Repertory Theater! Her first film role came shortly after college with her independent film, "Lovers Lane" in 1999, in which she played an ill-fated cheerleader. However, her breakout role came the following year in 2000 in the horror-film parody Scary Movie where she played Cindy Campbell. She reprised the role in three of the four sequels, Scary Movie 2 (2001), Scary Movie 3 (2003), and Scary Movie 4 (2006). She did not return for Scary Movie 5 (2013). In 2010, Cosmopolitan magazine named her "the Cosmo’s Fun Fearless Female of the Year" – stating that "She makes us laugh – and cringe – by pushing the limits of comedy in a way no other actress can". Tad Friend described her in The New Yorker as "Hollywood's most original comic actress"! She married Chris Pratt in 2009. They have one child. Two members love this woman and they gave many points to her (9.0 & 7.0). I have watched some of her movies so far : Scary Movie (One of the best parodies ever!!!H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S), Scary Movie 2 (It has some funny moments but I think that it's the worst film of the series), The Hot Chick (I laughed a lot with this movie but it was quite bad as concept, so bad it's good), Lost in Translation (It was a boring and overrated film, I don't remember her role), Scary Movie 3 (Very funny), Brokeback Mountain (I had heard a lot of comments but I found it overrated. It wasn't great. However, the soundtrack was great), Scary Movie 4 (It has many funny scenes but it wasn't better than the first film), My Super Ex-Girlfriend (Funny movie but a little bit silly in some parts) and The Dictator (I enjoyed it a lot but it wasn't very good as "Bruno"). I would suggest you to watch "Scary Movie" because it's one of the most funny movies that I've ever watched, "The Hot Chick" if you like broad comedies, "Scary Movie 3" because it has many funny scenes and you will enjoy it a lot and "Scary Movie 4" because it's very entertaining.

Cameron's End Of Year Chart 2014
229. Lorde - Team / I didn't like Lorde (her attitude/style) when she released her first song but she has grown on me with her follow-up singles. 226. Lana Del Rey - Once Upon A Dream / I loved this cover. It was a haunting performance. 223. Diana Vickers - Cinderella / I still can't believe how her topics (not by her :P) are so popular here when she totally flopped. The song is not bad though. 222. Jessie Ware - Tough Love / Emotional performance 221. Foxes - Happy/Teardrop (Live Lounge Cover) / I haven't heard this mash-up but I love Lauren's version. 219. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Good Girls / This song reminds me of Sum 41 and Fountains of Wayne 218. Nicole Scherzinger - Run / Very nice ballad. I couldn't help but wonder why she failed so much with her new singles.. I listened to it her new album and it wasn't good. However, the singles are very good. 212. Coldplay - Magic / One of my favourite alternative singles of the year 210. Mika & Ariana Grande - Popular Song / If they released it this year, it could be a successful hit. Ariana wasn't so popular last year. 209. Alistair Griffin (ft. Kimberley Walsh) - The Road / Nice collaboration 208. Twin Atlantic - Brothers And Sisters / I like their second single and I listened to it many times when I was at home. I guess that they are not popular in my country. 207. Katy Perry - Legendary Lovers / Good song but I don't think that it would be a good single choice. 206. Britney Spears - Perfume / I like this song but the lyrics are quite bad. Certainly for girls/women.. 204. One Direction - Story Of My Life / I think that they improved a lot with their music. Their first songs are not so good as their last ones. 203. Neon Jungle - Louder / One of my favourite songs of the year. I love the powerful chorus.

Two Days, One Night
"Two Days, One Night" is a social movie which has been showing in recent weeks in my country. It was nominated for the "Palme d'Or" at Cannes and although it did not win, it got good reviews. However, it won the "Sydney Film Prize" at the film festival in Sydney and it is the official proposal of Belgium in the category "Best Foreign Language Film" for the upcoming Oscars. The protagonist of the film is the famous French actress Marion Cottilard and she was the main reason to watch this movie in the cinema. I really appreciate this woman! I think she is one of the best actresses at the moment and she deserves the hype which is created around her name (at least in the film circles). "Two Days, One Night" is based on the drama which is experienced by a young woman and mother of two children after her dismissal from the factory she works at. Her foreman puts 16 of her coworkers in a dilemma. They have to vote on the fact that Marion can continue to be their colleague or they can benefit for 1000 euros if she is fired . The result is bad for the central heroine but she decides to ask for a second chance demanding a secret ballot over a short period of time. The story unfolds in a very interesting way and the performance of Cotillard is very good. The two screenwriters Luc Dardenne and Jean-Pierre Dardenne co-wrote a very intriguing and timely story and they were not narrowed only in writing the script but they directed the film too. The dialogues are simple and concise and the story has some touching moments without reaching the verges of a melodrama. The performances from the cast is so realistic that you think you are seeing a true story on the big screen. Actually, I was very pleased with the outcome and it's probably the best movie I watched in recent weeks. I wish Greek directors / screenwriters could turn out such films apart from "Little England", all the other domestic productions seem to me well below average. Let alone, they are insipid and uninteresting too. "Two Days, One Night" is definitely one of the best European films of the year. It has been nominated in three categories (People's Choice Award, Best Screenwriter, Best Actress) at the European Film Awards and I hope it wins some of them. It has been loved by the public and critics. It has also received a pretty good score on IMDb (7.5). It's a film with substance and I would recommend watching it to everyone because labor rights are something that concerns us all. InuzW58ydyU

Interstellar
"Interstellar" is undoubtedly one of the most hype films of this year! It had its world premiere in late October and in my country, it has been in the cinema for five weeks. I felt so excited with the visual spectacle of "The Dark Knight Rises" two years ago and there was no way to miss the new film by Christopher Nolan. I had watched the impressive official trailer and it was one more reason to watch this movie. I imagine that after the huge success of last year's "Gravity", we will see many other movies that are based on space and this of course is something very positive because these kind of films are always spectacular on the big screen! "Interstellar" had many positive features but it also had some serious drawbacks. Christopher Nolan made a purposeful job and he combined science fiction with emotion and human relationships. Also, he co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan. The visual and sound effects were excellent while the photography in some scenes were particularly awesome. It had elaborate montage while the music of Hans Zimmer gave a grandeur to the overall result! Some instrumental songs which were heard during the film were epic! The acting was quite good and Matthew McConaughey gave another ground-breaking performance after "Dallas Buyers Club". In the cast, we could also see the Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, the talented Jessica Chastain and the incredible Michael Caine. Based on the inclusion of of these actors, you realise that the film could not have been bad. On the technical side, the film had a perfect result and I'm sure it will be nominated in several categories in the upcoming Oscars. Nevertheless, its long length was too tiring and the overanalyze information that had to do with theoretical physics, made it for quite a limited audience. I recognize the fact that The Nolan brothers managed to write this script, to visualize and also to explain it to the producers and actors but I do not think that it had the same effect on the viewers (unless they are students of theoretical physics). Literally, I had a headache when I left from the cinema after trying to take in all the information having to do with the fifth dimension and space-time. It had some script gaps which made it even more obscure and in the last quarter of the film I wanted to get up and leave from the cinema hall. Unfortunately, the film did not have an intermission. Maybe that played an important role although I have seen several films with similar overall length in the past and I did not have the same feeling. The Nolan brothers could have removed some analytical information and they should have added them to the special feautures of the dvd, so that only the fans of the film retrace them. However, I want some time to watch "Interstellar" again because I think it needs a second screening or perhaps a third. "Interstellar" has managed to earn more than $590.000.000 and it's one of the most commercial movies of the year. It has been loved by thousands of fans worldwide and it has received a very high average score on IMDb (8.9). It is placed in 15th place and many people are talking a lot about this magnificent result. Personally, I consider it quite overrated for receiving such a high score by so many people because I am sure that the majority of them did not understand a lot of things from the movie. Maybe, they are extremely enthusiastic about it. I would put a unit less because I had headache in the cinema and this does not happen often to me. However, it is worth an 8 for the super spectacle that it offers you and the soundtrack will give you goosebumps (especially "Stay").

No.19 Total Points : 16 Emma Stone http://www.lavidadeserendipity.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/emma-stone-short-hair.jpg I really like this woman although I haven't watched many of her movies. She is very likeable to me and I noticed that she has many beautiful photos in google (in comparision with other actresses). I thought that she was a British actress but I just knew that she is an American actress (wikipedia). She was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was homeschooled for two years, during which time she appeared in sixteen productions at Valley Youth Theatre, including "The Princess and the Pea", "Alice in Wonderland", and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", and performed with the theater's improv comedy troupe. Her parents also sent her for private lessons with a local acting coach who had worked at the William Morris Agency in the 1970s and still had Hollywood connections. In January 2004, at the age of fifteen, she moved with her mother to an apartment in Los Angeles and began homeschooling again. Stone attended Xavier College Preparatory, an all-girl Catholic high school, as a freshman for one semester. Despite this, she was raised as a Lutheran. She gave a PowerPoint presentation to her parents, set to the Madonna song "Hollywood", to convince them to let her move to California for an acting career. Her debut role was in "Superbad' in 2007. However, she made her leading debut in "Easy A", for which she received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for "Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy". In 2014, Stone reprised her role as Gwen Stacy in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and co-starred in "Magic in the Moonlight" and "Birdman". Two members totally love Emma Stone! I have watched a few of her movies so far : Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (It wasn't very funny, it was quite silly, it had poor script), The Amazing Spider-Man (I enjoyed it a lot, great visual effects, nice characters), Gangster Squad (I had heard a lot of bad comments about this movie but it wasn't bad at all. Maybe, I had low expectations), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (One of my favourite blockbusters this year! However, I didn't like the ending) and Magic in the Moonlight (funny story with likeable characters) I would suggest you to watch "The Amazing Spider-Man" because Marc Webb did a great job and the new couple was better than the old one, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" because it had a lot of action and impressive visual effects and "Magic in the Moonlight" because Woody Allen always knows how to make nice movies.

I have to tell you that 7 from your 11 choices are in the Top 11.. I didn't expect Jessica Lange to be in the Top 20. However, she is a very good actress. This scene belongs to one her most famous movies..King Kong (1976) http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BSqXjxEItdk/Ue1EM-gcgBI/AAAAAAAAfpM/pSZAtkUkMZ8/s1600/king%20kong%201976.jpg http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/12900000/Dwan-king-kong-12931200-600-363.gif

No.20 Total Points : 15 Helen Mirren http://www.prevention.com/your-beauty/sites/default/files/yb/uploads/imce/Helen-Mirren-golden-globes-2012_0.jpg What a great actress!!! I'm so glad that she is in the Top 20 of this rate! She is very elegant woman! Critics totally love her because she is very talented and she has a wide variety of roles. Helen Mirren could never be a boring actress. She is an English actor. Her father was Russian and her mother was English. She began her acting career with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the latter half of the 1960s. Her debut role was in "Herostratus" in 1967! During her career, she has portrayed three British queens in different films and television series: Elizabeth I in the television series "Elizabeth I" (2005), for which she received Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for "Best Actress", Elizabeth II in "The Queen" (2006), which won her the Academy and BAFTA Award for 'Best Actress", and Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in "The Madness of King George" (1994), for which she earned an Academy Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actress". She is the only actress to date to have portrayed both Queens Elizabeth on the screen! She has also won two Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Awards. In 2003, she received a damehood in the Order of the British Empire for services to the performing arts! Thee members voted this amazing woman! I have watched some of her movies so far : Excalibur (I was child when I watched it on tv and I don't remember many things about it. I need to watch it again), The Pledge (Intriguing script with mystery), The Clearing (Interesting script, nice performances), Raising Helen (Pleasant movie), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I didn't enjoy it so much, the script wasn't very good and it was a little boring too), The Queen (Brilliant performance), National Treasure: Book of Secrets (Forgettable), State of Play (incredibly tiresome, too much information), RED (I really enjoyed it, it had fun and action), The Debt (Decent movie, intriguing story with nice performances), Hitchcock (It's not bad but it's not great either. However, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially for the fans of "Psycho) and RED 2 (It was very funny, much better than the first film). I would suggest you to watch "The Pledge" because it's an underrated movie, "The Queen" because Mirren gave her best performance, "The Debt" because it was an interesting movie about an awful human being and "RED" + "RED 2" if you like action movies with funny quotes. "The Clearing" was also good but it had some boring moments too.

Total Points : 14 Natalie Portman http://www.wallpapers-photos.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Natalie-Portman-photos.jpg Natalie Portman is one of the best actresses of her generation!!! I wouldn't say that the majority of her films are great but she took part in some notable movies. She was born in Jerusalem. In 1984, when she was three years old, her family moved to the United States, where her father received his medical training. Her first role was as an orphan taken in by a hitman in the 1994 action film "Léon: The Professional", but mainstream success came when she was cast as Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy (released in 1999, 2002 and 2005). She studied ballet and modern dance at the "American Theater Dance Workshop" in New Hyde Park, New York, and attended the Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts in Wheatley Heights, both on Long Island. In 1999, she enrolled at Harvard University to study psychology while still working as an actress. In 2003, she graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. degree in psychology. "I don't care if (college) ruins my career," she told the New York Post. "I'd rather be smart than a movie star." In 2005, she won a Golden Globe Award and received an Academy Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actress" for her performance in the drama "Closer". In May 2008, she served as the youngest member of the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival jury! In 2010, she starred in the psychological thriller "Black Swan". Her performance received critical praise and earned her an Academy Award, her second Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award and the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award in 2011! Two members had her name on their lists. I have watched many of her movies so far : Mars Attacks! (Crazy story with great cast), Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (It's my least favourite of the prequel trilogy), Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (I want to watch it again because I don't remember it at all. I prefer the first three movies though), Cold Mountain (great story with great performances), Garden State (the characters were funny and interesting. Plus, it had something nostalgic), Closer (I found it quite boring and underrated), Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (I want to watch it again because I don't remember it at all), V for Vendetta (One of my favourite movies ever! It had iconic scenes), The Other Boleyn Girl (One of the best movies that year, underrated movie), The Other Woman (It wasn't a good movie/ Surely, it's one of my worst movies that year), Black Swan (Brilliant performance, intriguing story), No Strings Attached (I enjoyed it because it had some funny moments. It's nothing special though. A typical Hollywood film), Thor (The visual effects were impressive but the script wasn't great) and Thor: The Dark World (I found it worse than the first film). I would suggest you to watch "Cold Mountain" because it was one of the best movies in 2003, "Garden State" because it had nice script and likeable characters, "V for Vendetta" because it's one of the most meaningful movies of the 2000s, "The Other Boleyn Girl" because it was an interesting story with great directing and "Black Swan" because she gave her best performance! She really deserved the Academy Award!

Cameron's End Of Year Chart 2014
250. Becky Hill - Losing / I thought that it would be a Top 20 hit for her. I can't believe that it flopped so much. 247. Jason Derulo - Trumpets / Jason Derulo has many antifans in this forum but I'm not one of them though. I like many of his singles. Trumpets is one of his best. 246. Kylie - Sexercize / Very bad single choice. I feel that she tried to be sexy but she failed to have impact like younger artists than her. 244. Gabrielle Aplin - Keep On Walking / I just listened to this song because I saw it on your list. It's not bad but I prefer her ballads. Do you like "November" and "Alive"? 243. The Script - Superheroes / I love this band. I wish they would have a concert in my city. 241. Fifth Harmony - BO$$ / I have to admit that its music is very catchy and I really like it. However, the lyrics are very bad. Who wrote these lyrics?? :P 239. Charlie Brown - On My Way / I couldn't help but wonder what happened to Charlie Brown...? He wasn't bad. I like his second single (Floodgates) too. 238. Ruth Lorenzo - Dancing In The Rain /One of my favourite Eurovision songs this year. 236. London Grammar - Strong / Very emotional performance 234. Lorde - Tennis Court / I didnt like this song at first but it grown on me. I believe that Lorde is one of the most interesting young artists at this moment. 231. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer / I like this song. They have listenable songs but I wouldn't say that they are one of the best girlbands. American girlbands seems very faceless in comparison with the British girlbands. Very nice choices so far..
