Dan's main channel has more subs than KSI's main but if you include both their second channels, KSI has 33 million total subs which is 8 million more than Dan.

When the song is on ACR, does its streaming sales get halved in counting sales for BPI certifications too or do they only get halved in charts ?

Savage Love isn't on ACR ? If it is then it should've been way lower.

Lighter was released on the same day as Holiday and still is nowhere near the top 10 of HH despite being in the top 5 of Spotify's chart for like 16-17 days now.

So how do they decide the placements then ? For ex - how is a song like Little Mix's Holiday already in the top 10 of Hot Hits UK despite being around the 50s range in Spotify's UK chart since its release ? But Lighter which was released at the same time is only 33 in Hot Hits UK despite being in top 5 of Spotify's UK chart for over 10 days at this point ?

Exactly. Plus he hasn't even promoted his album since the first week, let alone do some giveaway. So saying his sales for this week being lowered coz of some giveaway is nothing but a reach.

When have they ever applied those "rules" though ? Stormzy used to do competitions all the time on twitter back in the day on how you could win trainers if you downloaded his songs. I didn't see those "rules" applied back then. In fact, Dua Lipa's purchases from her store was also a competition. I didn't see those "rules" applied there either. I'm sure you could find many more examples since major labels do this all the time.

He did a giveaway for like 3 hours one day, not a big deal. Artists (or more so their labels) do way more unethical stuff to derive sales. KSI hasn't even promoted his album since first week.
